Wedding ring found, Monterey, CA
This ring fell through an ocean front esplanade /wharf type area. Through a crack in the slats, and down into the tide pools below. Obscured from view in seaweed and sand. They found the ringfinder metal detector rental service website. We were able to schedule a search. 45 minutes later, was able to do the reunite.
Glad to have another happy customer. An heirloom to stay in the family 🙂 She sends this nice note :
« Today Tom returned one my most beloved and treasured items. While eating dinner in Monterey, my wedding ring fell
off and down through a crack, into the rocks and water below. my husband gave me this ring almost 20 years ago . I honestly thought I’d never see it again! Tom, thank you for being you and so willing to help others!!! »

return to the east coast with their rings.
Night before last I got a call from Lacey asking if I could come find her sister Nichole’s lost James Avery charm bracelet in the sand at the beach. She had placed it in her chair cup holder, but apparently forgot and dumped it out when picking it up to put it away. It was very sentimental to her, as she told me she had been adding charms to it for several years. It was rather late and I was 45 minutes away so I promised I would come early the next morning. I arrived and was relieved to see that they were renting a vacation house directly on a small private beach. They had marked off a square where they thought it might be so I set off carefully gridding the area with my Equinox 800. Within minutes, I got a signal that was much deeper than I expected a fresh drop to be and definitely not as loud as I would have thought. First scoop – nothing. Second scoop – nothing. Third scoop – and there was her shiny silver bracelet sparkling in the dry sand. Nichole happily placed it back on her wrist and gave me a hug. I (as always !) turned down her offered reward and asked only for a picture of her smiling – the best reward ever !

Late Saturday afternoon I got an urgent call from Tara’s husband stating his wife just lost her engagement ring while swimming in the water. Given the remnants of wind and waves produced by the passing tropical storm (Alex), a safe and effective search wasn’t immediately possible. Well, after about 3 hours of searching the following afternoon, the desired target was found, safely in the scoop…not a « silver ring » but an absolutely gorgeous 14k white gold diamond engagement ring, actually two rings combined into one. The story continues, the ring being on the finger it belongs. No coincidences in Gods kingdom, just appointments. Much to be thankful for 🙏🏻🎉👍🏻 Remember, it’s only lost until you call…Mark!!!

it was a beautiful day at Pensacola Beach but the Shorebreak was really pounding. Chris was on the edge of the water putting on his fins and mask to do some diving. The Shorebreak hit him, he tumbled a bit and lost his ring. His wife called me to see if I could help and I said I would try. They showed me about where the ring was lost and I was able to find it in an hour hour and a half. We got to talking, he was from Pensacola and so am I. It turned out that we’re distant cousins! They departed all smiles. I was glad I could help and now have another family link. I guess it’s truly a small world!
