Marisa and her family were enjoying the day at the beach in Avalon, NJ, when her hearing aid fell in the sand. Despite searching for it with no luck, she remembered that she had called me before for help. I had found her husband’s wedding band when I had previously been called for assistance. As a result, Marisa had my contact information. After arriving at the beach, she showed me the location where they had been sitting. With a few swings of the metal detector, we successfully located the hearing aid.

Jonny had lost his custom-made wedding band in the ocean just a day earlier, while spending time in Sea Isle City, NJ. He was wading in waist-deep water when he suddenly felt the ring slip off his finger. The following afternoon, Jonny contacted me for help, and we met up shortly after. Equipped with my waterproof metal detector, I began our search for the precious ring. About an hour later, out in the surf, the wedding band was finally found! Jonny and Michelle were overjoyed and could hardly believe their luck. The entire family was delighted and relieved to have the ring back, making it a fantastic end to the day in Sea Isle City, NJ.

While enjoying a day at the beach in Ocean City, NJ, John was playing catch with his family when his wedding ring suddenly flew off into the sand. He had a rough idea of where it might be, so I started searching. Using my metal detector, I carefully gridded the area and, after about 15 minutes of searching, discovered the ring. Having just arrived in Ocean City, NJ, for their vacation, John and his family were relieved and could now fully enjoy their week at the shore.

I received a call from Dawn whose friend saw my Ring Finders South Jersey page on Facebook and referred her to me.  Her daughter Julia lost her Cartier gold Love ring in the surf during a severe storm in Ocean City, NJ.  She was in ankle-deep water when strong gusts of wind suddenly blew the ring off her finger.  After speaking with Julia about the details of how and where she lost the ring, I started the search in knee-deep water and worked my way toward the beach.  I had to expand my search out about another 35 yards and the ring was found on the high on the slope! Megan was splashing her brother while sitting in the surf in Sea Isle City, NJ when the unexpected happened; her rose gold promise ring flew off her finger into the ocean with one of the splashes. Her mother reached out to me, and I explained that we had a good chance of finding it. I met the family on the beach and started working under the low-tide line parallel to the surf, working my way up the slope. I dug a few targets before getting a “promising” signal that was 5-6 inches deep. I dug one final scoop, and the ring was returned to Megan!

Sheila contacted me today about her fiancé’s chain and cross that were accidentally left on the beach in Ventnor, NJ.  The surf was rough yesterday, so he decided to take it off before going into the ocean.  Forgetting that it was in the side pocket of the beach chair, the jewelry dropped into the sand when packing up. They didn’t realize it was missing until after they got home and were extremely upset because it is very sentimental.  I met with the couple on the beach and they gave me the approximate location where it could have been lost.  Something in the distance caught my eye as I was walking around detecting.  It glistened for a second, so I decided to walk toward it.  It turned out to be the edge of the cross peeking out of the sand! It’s a great feeling when you find what you’re looking for, but it’s extra special when you recover something so sentimental.

Lydia was getting ready to return home to Virginia after visiting her grandmother Mary Jane and other family and friends in Avalon, NJ when she realized her engagement ring and wedding band weren’t on her finger. She was on the beach earlier in the day and forgot to put them back on before packing up. Mary Jane was referred to me by her friend Jen and called me shortly after they realized the rings were lost in the sand. I met them approximately 20 minutes later and started to search the area where they thought the rings might be. I had to expand the search out a little farther and found both a few minutes later! I was in line at Nauti Donuts in Ocean City, NJ when I received a call from Jessica about her sentimental silver necklace with a cow charm and her white gold diamond ring. She and her boyfriend Chris were on the beach the day before and put the jewelry in the pouch of their beach chair. When they got home and unpacked, it wasn’t there. I met Chris at the entrance 10 minutes later and turned on the metal detector. Thankfully, within 20 minutes both the necklace and ring were pulled from the sand.
