Rosa called me for help. She had been in her local park the day before, and had taken off her wedding and engagement rings, and held them in her hand as she was walking along. Suddenly she tripped, and without realizing it opened her hand causing the rings to fly out in front of her into the tall grass. She was able to find the wedding ring, but not the engagement ring. We arranged a time to meet, and I was on my way.

When I got there Rosa walked me over to the area where she had tripped. While on our way over she told how she had searched hours, and how her husband had been out there looking until 3:00 AM. Lew lost his wedding ring at the beach, and called for help. I was available, and let him know I would get there as quick as was possible. The ring had his wedding date engraved inside, so it meant a lot to him.

I got there and met Lew, and he took me over to the spot of the loss. He explained how the loss occurred, and I began my search. Finding trash metal items always excites the person I am searching for, yet ending in a let down when I show them a bottle cap or tin foil, but I try to calm them so they don’t lose hope, and keep plodding on in my search. It was dark already when Rahm called about his lost phone. He and some friends when running around in the sand when he noticed that his phone had come out of his coat pocket. They looked all around for it, but were unable to find it. I let him know I would leave as soon as possible to help him find it.

When I got to the beach, it was very dark, and it took me a while to find Rahm. When I finally did, he took me out to the area where they had been running, and explained what he did to possibly lose the phone. I then turned on my detector, swung about 3 times, and found his phone! He had put me almost right on top of it! It was a quick find, which made for a happy recovery.

His & Hers Platinum Wedding bands Lost, Recovered and Returned in Villanova, PA!!!

Thanks to fellow Ring Finder, John Favano, for the referral! Jerry reached out to me after losing his beautiful platinum wedding band while playing in the snow in the front yard of his Villanova, PA home. After searching for several hours on his hands and knees in the fresh snow he thought he would try to get a better idea of what the ring would look like in the snow….so….yeah….he borrowed his wife’s matching wedding band and threw that down. As you can guess….he immediately lost that one too! After several more hours of searching with rakes and shovels he finally surrendered and got in touch with a professional. He lost them on a Sunday….I was there with my metal detector Monday afternoon. Within 3 minutes total….I had recovered both rings! Jerry told me he briefly considered renting or purchasing a metal detector before calling me. I told him of the countless times I get the called after people buy or rent machine in an effort to find themselves…I told him the experience of the guy using the machine is more important than the machine itself! I was very happy to reunite Jerry and his wife with their beautiful rings!

Meaghan contacted me wanting help in finding her daughter’s lost ring. Her daughter was playing with some friends in the grass of their yard when while making a spin, her ring flew off of her finger, and was lost in the thick grass. We arranged to meet, and I arrived at the time set.

When I arrived Meaghan met me at her gate, and took me to the back yard of her house. She showed me where the girls were playing when the loss occurred, and explained how they had searched extensively for the ring, but with no luck. I turned on my detector to begin the search, and she went in to the house telling me to let her know if I find the ring. I began my search, and after about 3 passes in the small area, I found the small ring. It was already dark when I received Jason’s call. He was at the beach with friends having fun when he noticed his ring missing from his finger. He wanted to know if I could help, and I let him know I would leave immediately to help find his ring. He said he and his friends would meet me there.

I got there in the dark, and began walking down the beach to where they said they had been. When I got there no one was there, so I called him to find out if he was around, and he let me know they were on the way. When they arrived he showed me how he had jumped from the lifeguard tower, and when he landed his ring was gone. I began my search where he had showed me, but found nothing. So I began to work out of the area. Then after about 5 more minutes I had his ring, and handed it back to him. It was a ring that was placed on his finger when he was a baby, that’s why it was split. Jason was very happy to have back.

Olivia called letting me know she had lost a bracelet in the sand at a private beach club while at a party the night before. There had been a lot of activity at the party, so she was unaware the bracelet was gone until later that night. We arranged a time to do the search, and she obtained permission for me to come and help her.

She took me to the area of the loss when I arrived, and showed me where she believed the bracelet might be. It was a good sized area that would have to be meticulously gone over with my detector. I worked a tight grid making sure I covered every inch of sand, but not find the bracelet. I then began to expand the search area when I got a good signal, dug, and had her bracelet. She was happy to have it back, and it made for a very productive day.

I received a call letting me know that Paul had lost his phone at the beach, and asked if I could help. They had remained in the area, so the chance of a recovery was high. I let him know I would come immediately.

When I got there the beach was crowded, so it took a few minutes to find him. Paul took me over to the site of the loss, and explained how he had been running in the sand when his phone came out of his pocket, and disappeared. There were people all around, and one would think the phone would have been seen going into the sand, but they searched for over an hour with no luck. I readied my machine, and within 3 minutes found his phone; they were mystified. I handed it back to him, and he was very happy. A great recovery.

Having lost his wedding ring in the sand at the beach, and not being able to find it David called and asked if I would be able to help. To insure a high possibility of a recovery, I let him know I would do the search as soon as I could get there, leaving right away, not allowing too much time to pass.

When I got there David took me out to the area of the loss, and explained how it occurred. I began my search in a tight grid, so as to make sure I covered every inch of sand. It did not take long, and I had David’s ring in my scoop. He was very happy to have it back. Another bonus was that the loss, and the recovery were both on his birthday. It was nice to be able to « present » him with his ring.

John sent me a text explaining how he had been putting up his Christmas lights, and realized his wedding ring was missing. He searched the area very diligently with a small handheld metal detector, yet was unable to locate it. I let him know that I could come right away to help find it for him.

When I got to John’s house he met me at the spot of the loss, and explained how he believed it occurred. I turned on my detector, and John went back to the house allowing me to get right to work. I made a couple of sweeps with my coil, and then I had to move a metal stake to cover another area. Right then I received the signal I was looking for, put in my pin pointer, and had John’s ring in about 2 minutes. I called him, and asked, « how fast did he want this job done? » He could not believe it was found so quickly. It does make a big difference when a person has the right equipment, and is expert in using it. Needless to say John was ecstatic at having his ring recovered.
