Gold Wedding Ring found and returned

Todd lost his gold wedding ring in the heavy surf in Puerto Rico. The week after he returned home to Wisconsin, his wife located theringfinders.com and contacted me.

I received the text from Todd with some information about the lost ring and would I be willing to look for it. I love a challenge, and believe me, this was indeed a very challenging search!

The ring was lost a week prior in the water. Todd and his son looked for it to no avail. But, they were pretty clear as to where they lost the ring and sent me a picture showing the general area in the water.

The next day I drove to Rio Grande armed with my picture and my trusty Equinox 800 and Xtreme scoop. One look at the rough waves and I got second thoughts. This really looks like an impossible search!! But soon I was in the water searching battling the waves. And within about 10 minutes of searching my very second signal was the ring!

So happy to have helped Todd get his ring back.

Second time around – Aggie Ring recovered from the Guadalupe River again!

  • from Kerrville (Texas, United States)

Almost two years ago my son, Shane,  and I recovered an Aggie ring from the Guadalupe River for Rick. Well, Rick called today and said he lost his ring again in the Guadalupe, different place this time. Rick said he marked about where he lost it and it was in shoulder deep water.  Uh, Huh! Shane and I had to swim across to the buoy and stand tip toe on rocks. My mouth was subsurface and my nose was just in the air! About 15 minutes of searching and I heard the tone in my AT Pro, Shane dove down and came up with the ring on this finger. Rick was really glad and lucky to have his ring back on his finger again!

Atlantic Beach: Newlywed’s Gold Wedding Band Lost In The Ocean Found

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

Joe and his wife of two months were spending a few days with family and went swimming in the ocean.  Sitting on the beach with his wife, she asked him where is your ring?  It was then the shock of the loss started.  Joe did some research and found The Ring Finders and contacted me later that day.  He admitted, and I could tell, both him and his wife were very upset.  Joe said he was swimming in chest to shoulder deep water.   I informed him that tomorrow morning’s conditions would be best to perform a water recovery search and we agreed to meet at 6 a.m.

Less than 1 hour later Joe was able to grab his gold wedding band out of my sand scoop.  His wife was instantly in tears.  It is such a great feeling to be able to return property that holds so much value to others!

This was one of my favorite recoveries.  I don’t know if the videos will upload, but if they do watch them!!.  I got a call about a family enjoying the beach and sadly lost their Cartier bracelet in the shallow water.  It was an anniversary gift and had a lot of sentimental value.  I got to the beach as quick as I could.  Usually I can find the lost item pretty quick, but this one took me a while, but I finally found it.  He was able to get a great video of me finding it and him surprising his wife with it upstairs.  If you’ve lost some jewelry on the beach, don’t hesitate, give me a call, Louis 305-608-1870.

I received another frantic call about a lost ring in the yard.  They had tried everything, even buying their own metal detector.  Quickly after realizing their inexpensive metal detector wasn’t gonna cut it, they called me.  I was able to head right over and after a good while searching (in an area they didn’t not thing the ring was in) was able to find it.  She and her husband were ecstatic.  This was a beautiful heirloom.  If you’ve lost something, don’t waste more time, CALL ME, Louis 305-608-1870 and I’ll come out and help you find it.
