LOST ROSE GOLD RING IN NEW IBERIA, LA. – FOUND

  • from Lafayette (Louisiana, United States)
Contact:

Hannah lost her rose gold diamond ring in the back yard of her boyfriend, Bradley’s house. I received a call from Bradley, but a 3 week trip delayed the hunt. While he was waiting, he borrowed and rented detectors and attempted to find the ring. No luck. When I returned from my trip, I headed out to find the still-lost ring. Carrie was busy but I still brought her equipment. The search area was not large but contained a lot of coins and buried metal. That along with no published data on rose gold discrimination numbers created a lot of “false finds”. After Bradley and I covering the area without locating the ring, (Carrie’s equipment was put to good use) we started a sectioned, crawling, pin pointer search (I made this term up). On the last section I looked in an area we had not included in the original search. There, in the shade of a neighbor’s building, was the ring sitting on bare dirt, fully visible. Sometimes being lucky is better than being good. We reunited Hannah with her ring and got a load of pictures. Carrie regrets not being there for the successful hunt.

Thank you, Bradley and Hannah for the generous reward.

Well when I joined the ring finders I didn’t imagine being called for this type of recovery. A ring that has been lost for over 5 years! With a great idea of the location it should be I set out in the clients backyard to help locate the ring. Unfortunately with it being lost for 5 years I knew I would have to be digging. So every time I came across a good signal that’s what I did. Although it wasn’t the most signals I’ve heard in such a close area, I still did a lot of digging. Finding pieces of tin from the homes construction, pull tab, a quarter, a sprinkler head, and a dog tag. I was getting a little skeptical as most of my signals were similar vdi’s and tones. But when my pinpointer flipped that dirt clump over the gold shone through better then I could believe it would have after 5 years. I’m glad I was able to locate it and it was obvious what it meant for my client to have it returned.

Lost ring found Clemson SC

  • from Clemson (South Carolina, United States)

Clemson SC metal detectorist Dwight Childress, cell #(864)535-4347 call or text anytime. Great news after a week of bad. After the big SC rivalry game between Clemson and SC lead to the loss 30-31, another big loss came to. Walking home from the game my client crossed a field where he stumbled and felt his prized ring fly from his finger. He spent several hours searching and even recruited the help of his friends with no luck. With the help of a family member they located our services at Ring Finders and found me. I met him at the field where I searched for several hours myself. I made arrangements to come back soon with a great plan. I laid out a grid using surveying flags. 3 feet apart and 150 feet across from one another, I laid out the rest of my day with high visibility. Row by row and swung my coil stopping for every beep I came across, heart pumping and jumping every time! After several hours I made my way to the very last row. I was staring at the last flag as I made my way swinging towards it. I could feel the disappointment starting creep across me when finally with only 20 feet left to go, the loudest signal rang out and screamed from my detector. There it was! Big gold and very shiny! My first recovery as a Ring Finder! It was a great feeling and even better when I made that call to let him know I had it in my hands. Some losses may be forever but with my help I was able to make this one just a temporary setback.

Lost Wedding Ring in Iowa Snow

  • from Waverly (Iowa, United States)

I received a message from a young man who said his wife had lost her wedding ring. As the story goes, she was outside at night with their dog standing on the deck and the ring came up missing. They were not sure if she lost it playing with the dog or when exactly she lost it. By chance, her friend was there and was videoing their interaction and at one point, the wife was standing at the top of the steps, facing the yard, swinging her arms. When her arm was back, the ring was on her finger and the next time it was not. I must say this is the first for me that they actually had the losing of the ring on video. There was snow in the yard and they frantically searched but the temperatures were below freezing and the husband had to force the wife to give up for the night and come inside. For the next week they would go in the yard and search but to compound to the problem was 4″ of  new snow and then the temperatures warmed just enough to melt some and refreeze.

We made an appointment for the next Saturday and I went to their home. He took me through the story and showed me where it had happened. I got my equipment   and set the sensitivity way down and the discrimination to the max. I took 3 steps off the deck and got a signal and told the husband who was helping that this would be a good place to look. He got down and started digging in the snow and ice but did not come up with anything. I got my pin pointer and pointed to where it should be and he took another brush of snow and there was silver shining through. It never gets old seeing the sheer joy on their face and feeling the burden being lifted off their shoulders. It is something that is hard to describe. The next task was to get a little torch because it was frozen in ice and snow. We heated it oh so gently and pulled it from its frozen grave. They were both very appreciative and reward me nicely for coming to their rescue.

Lost Diamond Ring Granby Connecticut… Found!!!

  • from Westerly (Rhode Island, United States)

A lost diamond ring was found in Granby, Connecticut! Jennifer’s ring was accidentally flung across the yard and was lost to the landscape. Scouring the shrubs, grass, and steep hillside Jennifer could not find her lost diamond ring. Eventually finding my ring-finding service online, Jennifer booked her search through my website. I arrived and we retraced Jennifer’s steps from the day she lost the ring. I spent hours searching the yard, hillside, and even the chicken coop. In one final attempt, I located the ring at the base of a telephone poll beyond where we thought the ring could have gone. Jennifer was reunited with her lost diamond ring!

Lost Engagement Ring Near Pleasant Grove, Utah- Found

Over the last 10 days, I have had 4 ring recovery calls due to the recent snow storms hitting Utah. Timmy reached out to me after a sledding adventure with his fiancé near Pleasant Grove, Utah. When they got back to the car, she put her hands up to the vent and noticed her engagement ring was missing. The ring was white gold with two stones (Moissanite & Topaz). After talking with Timmy that night, they decided to go buy a metal detector from a local store and search for it themselves. Unfortunately, the metal detector was unable to locate the ring so we made plans to meet and search for the ring. I could still see their sled marks in the snow so I decided to start at one end of the hill and work my way to the right. I had barely just turned on my detector and started to make my first swing when I got a clear signal. Sure enough, it was the ring. It could be my fastest recovery to date. So happy I was able to get that ring back to Timmy and Lindsey! They are set to get married on April 6th and I wish them all the best!

LOST WEDDING RING in Durham, NC…….. FOUND!!!!!!

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)
Got a call today from a man who lost his 14k white gold wedding ring about 2 weeks ago while cutting wood with his boys.
He had his cell phone in his front left pocket when he took his ring off so it wouldn’t interfere with wood cutting and put it in the same pocket as his phone. Then at some point he took his phone out of his pocket and it must have pulled his ring out with it.
I get to his house, get the scoop, grabbed my machine and got to searching! I started where he was when he took it off and put it in his pocket.
Less than 5 mins – Boom! We got gold!!!
Another successful ring recovery and another marriage saved!

LOST GOLD RING NEAR ROXBORO, NC……. FOUND!!! (2022)

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)
Received a call from a young lady tonight asking me if I could try and find her promise ring, from her boyfriend, for her. She had been trying to find it for 4-5 days with a couple of metal detectors with no luck.
I drove the 1.5 hr drive, pulled up, met her, got the back story and in about 10 mins found her ring. She was shocked I found it so fast and said, “I KNOW I COVERED THAT AREA!” I advised her gold isn’t the easiest to find if you don’t know exactly what you’re looking/listening for.
I then had her bring over her machine to see where it hit up on her machine. It was in the pull tab range on hers.

Gold Diamond Wedding Band Returned to Owner After Giving Up Hope.

  • from Ponte Vedra Beach (Florida, United States)

On 10/10/22 I was out detecting at Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl. when I was approached by a lady who asked me mid I had found a gold and diamond wedding band. Shem told me that she had lost her wedding band of 17 years and was heartbroken. She showed me the area where she thought she had lost the ring. I searched for a few hours with no luck finding it. She thanked me for my time and said that she was positive it could not be found since the ring was very small and several days have passed. I asked her for her contact information and told her not to « lose faith » as I have found many rings long after they were lost. I returned to the area the next day and continued my search for her ring which I was so happy to find. I texted the owner a picture of the ring and she called me back crying with tears of joy. It’s such a great feeling to be able to return something so sentimental.  Later that day after returning her ring she sent me a nice testimonial.

TESTIMONIAL:

Adam, you are my hero! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I just wanted to thank you again. My visit to the beach at our The Lodge & Club on 10/7/22 was one of the worst days because I lost my wedding band.

When I saw you with your metal detector the following Sunday, I had no idea your talent when I approached you to ask if your equipment could find a lost ring. Our conversation gave me a glimmer of hope. When you texted me on Monday 10/10/22 with a picture of my ring, I was literally in tears that you had found my wedding band.

It’s truly a miracle. I am without words that express my gratitude. Adam, you are my hero! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Sincerely Kelly L.
