Searching for lost gold wedding rings in The Canadian Rocky Mountains… Alberta

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

Hi its Chris Turner from The Ring Finders,  just wanted to let you know that I’ll be out of town on a ring search (5 rings) lost in The Rocky Mountains, Alberta.  I’ll be away from my office from April 15th -19th. I’ll let you know how the searches go and I hope to come home to write a happy blog.  I have a person flying in for the day from Australia who is meeting me and paying my way out there to search for 3 rings that a friend lost last year in February.  I also have a search for a young lady who lost her rings in Canmore. I’ll keep you posted and thanks for reading!

Kind Regards,

Chris Turner

Lost Silver Angel Pendant...Found

Angel Pendant lost...Found

Well today I had a search for a lost silver angel pendent, at a park in Vancouver. It was lost at a rugby practice, my first thought was that some young man had lost it…Wrong! Some young lady had lost it while training.

Normally I wouldn’t search for something lost without the permission of the person first, but the person posted it on the internet with the exact location. I couldn’t get out the day I saw the post because of work so I went out the next day.

When I arrived at the location and started my grid search I could tell that someone else had already searched the area for the lost pendant.

I was a little set back at the thought that someone must of already found it, but it was such a nice day I decided to search anyway.

I started my grid where the person left off, instead of continuing the grid north I back tracked south toward the area that was already searched.

That was a good call as it didn’t take long before something silver caught my eye, my first thought was…that’s a dime, but closer inspection it turned out to be the pendant!

It was nice meeting you Amy! And thank you for the generous reward!

I love my job!

Lost something and need it found!

Call me ASAP!

Lost wedding ring...Found

Chris….

WE FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!

Thank you very much for your kindness, your responsiveness, and your offer to help because I know you didn’t have to.  Beyond being « metal detectors, » people like you and Jason are good samaritans that give people like me faith that there are people out there that choose to do nice things simply because it’s nice.  Thank you for returning my emails and calls, for comforting me in my misery, and for reaching out to your community for me.  Jason was an absolute ring finding superstar!  He came from three hours away, through floody dangerous roads, and came prepared with information on how my ring would read on the detector and different theories about how it could have fallen.  It was impressive.  If ever there were a ring finding professional, he was it.

I am forever greatful to you, him, and the fact that I found you on the internet under « ring finders ».

Jimmy

For all of the misery of this weekend, the feeling of finding it was almost worth the losing it in the first place.
