January 2022 Ed reached out to me asking for assistance in searching for tossed wedding rings during a stressful situation. This is the story of the extensive efforts taken to recover three lost rings.

Hey guys, this is the Seattle Ring Hunter we’re actually out here in North Bend this morning and we’re here with Edward.  Ed will you tell us a little bit about what’s going on today and why we’re out here.

Yeah its just a desperate situation to try to look for three rings the wedding ring, the engagement ring and another nice piece of high-end jewelry ring. Just to be honest with you it was after an epic big fight disagreement you know with my wife and I should not have done this but my mind was not in the right place and then in a fit of rage I never done this before but I grabbed four rings. My personal wedding ring, and then her three rings, and then one by one I came out to the balcony and late at night in the dark I threw them out over my balcony in the deep backyard in the woods. It was snowing three feet of snow at the time and I just assumed I never would see him again you know.

Then, obviously just an hour later, and the next day, you regret what you did. I couldn’t look for it because it was all three feet of snow, so I had to wait another week for everything to melt. The first day it melted where I could have visibly I went out there about five or six or seven hours and I was able to find mine. I’m still missing three. I was out there seven hours I just had a chintzy metal detector and I not an expert. I was  kind of encouraged when I found mine but really discouraged I couldn’t find the others  that are more important. There is no way to remedy the situation with my wife and move on unless I find those. Especially the one is more important than the other two being the engagement ring as far as sentimental value. Until then I’m really really really in the doghouse. So I couldn’t find it real discouraged the next day I have off from work I was gonna come out her again and just keep doing it. We were able to find you on the internet yourself on the The Ring Finders and have so many amazing reviews in different scenarios in situation that we called you.  Now you’re here to help us out.

I am very thankful you guys were able to find our support today. Guys as I said before these are stressful situations and we get maybe one to three calls throughout the month for people in this situation. If you find yourself in a situation, I just want to say don’t feel like we’re gonna give you a hard time or call you out on it or anything this happens we’re used to this. Everyone is human and so we we think Ed for sharing his story to maybe help encourage others out there that might find themselves in situation. You don’t necessarily have to come on camera but just to let you know we do have opportunities and capabilities to help people in the situation. With that being said the three rings, we are going to focus on that just for a second.  They are pretty substantial rings, they mean a lot to the family for the sentimental value and the whole end result of this is getting them back for the family that’s an an absolutely our priority and our focus on this. They are very nice pieces of jewelry so with that being said they’re not dainty in size we got a platinum and we got some white gold rings out there. They got the diamonds and all that you guys will hopefully be able to see that later on as we make the recovery out here. He did find his wedding band and we’re gonna do a test throw here in just a moment so we can get a trajectory on how he’s throwing. He mentioned earlier that he’s got a little bit of a issue with his arm so he shared a little bit about that so maybe they are not way back in the back fourth but it’ll be over here. This is on a private property so we know that they’re absolutely here on the property so with that very confident that we should be able to get them recovered. With that, let me go ahead and get geared up and see if we can bring all three of those rings back and turn the situation around to a better resolve.

Lost IPhone 13 pro at Indian Canyon Golf Course…FOUND!

  • from Spokane (Washington, United States)

After receiving a wallop of a snow storm in our town, Joren had a horrible day. He lost his phone and dislocated his shoulder while sledding in the newly fallen snow. Joren found out about The Ring Finders while looking up metal detectors. He sent me a frantic text for help.  I quickly replied, and then we spoke on the phone. Joren had the coordinates of the last known location for the phone. He sent me the link and I followed my gps to the spot. I searched up and down the hill where the pin was dropped for the location of the phone. With no luck I waited for Joren to show up. He gave me a quick run down on his movements in the snow which included hopping a fence.  So by process of elimination we hopped the fence and started searching.  The phone was not in the landing zone where we jumped over the fence. Following the path of footprints in the snow that led away from the landing zone, I got a solid 18 on the display of my detector.  Joren’s phone popped out after the second scoop. One fence hopped, equaled one phone lost, when there’s a foot of snow on the ground.

Lost Platinum Wedding Band – FOUND! Mt. Lebanon near Pittsburgh

  • from Indiana (Pennsylvania, United States)

Lost your ring, other valuable jewelry, cellphone, keys, or other metal object…call or text Brian Carpenter at (814)244-2300 as soon as possible. I am a ring recovery specialist serving Pittsburgh, Indiana (PA), and most of Western PA.

I received a phone call from a young lady who said her husband lost his wedding band in a park near the Mr. Lebanon high school on Thanksgiving Eve. It was late afternoon and it was about an hour and a half to the park and it would be dark before I could get there, but I set out to see if I could find it. As it turns out the couple was visiting family in the area and took the dog to the park to play ball. First throw and there went the ball and the wedding band!

I got to the park and started my search in the area they thought the ring might be. I came up empty…but I was just getting started. I encouraged the couple to go and visit with their family as I thought I might be in for a long search and reluctantly they went to do so, kindly not wanting to leave me there alone in the park which I really appreciated. I decided it was time to expand my search area and picked a new marker to start from and as luck would have it I found the ring, about 10 feet from where I had started. I called and reported that I had found the ring, I do not think they even had time to get around the corner. It was awesome to be able to return the lost ring and they were ecstatic to have it back. As always, it was great to recover the ring and meet such nice and generous folks, just another reason to be thankful this Thanksgiving holiday!

See the reaction when the ring that was lost in the sand is found in North Wildwood NJ.

Stephanie lost a very special ring at the bonfire in North Wildwood, New Jersey the other night. It was a ring that her mother gave her when she graduated high school. She didn’t realize it was missing until she got home, so she called me the next morning to help find it. She remembered that she took off her glove at one point and felt something drop on her shoe. She disregarded it because when she looked down a tube of lip balm was near her foot and just assumed it was that. I got to the beach before her and started to search near the bonfire. I got the signal pretty quickly and was able to return it before she knew it was found. We were all thankful for a small blessing on this holiday weekend!

How to find a lost ring at the beach using a metal detecting service.. Call or Text  Stan the Metal Detector Man .. 949-500-2136

*** Brandon’s bother called me asking if I was available to search for a ring his brother lost at Doheny State Beach, Dana Point, California.  He said his Brandon could not meet me till late this evening.

I explained, it always increases our chance for a successful recovery if he could get me close to the area of the loss. For now, I would drive to the location to give it search, because it was a public area and may get found by someone that doesn’t know how to find the owner.

The ring was lost out of a baby stroller in the dry sand at the towel line. When I arrived at the location that Brandon’s brother had given me, I located a silver colored ring. I didn’t even check it for the inscription because I was told it was a tungsten ring.

After gridding the area for almost a hour, I couldn’t locate a tungsten ring. Returning to my car to call Brandon for more information, I looked at the silver colored ring which was marked Plat. and had the exact inscription that was given to me. It was Brandon’s ring .

I made the call and he met me an hour later to pick up the ring..

I WILL TRY ANYWHERE.. Call now for information on how the service works.. Glad to help you.

From Mombo Beach, Curacao to Denmark, an unexpected return!

  • from Cape Cod (Massachusetts, United States)

November 15, 2022
My vacation in Curacao ended with an unexpected ring return. While detecting at Mombo Beach I found an initial ring, my second ring found on the first day in Vacation Land. No one around had lost or knew of anyone losing a ring. Five days later Leighton, my RingFinders traveling companion, was asked to help find a ring that was just lost. Two minutes later he had found and returned the ring. As it usually happens a happy commotion of joy was spread along the beach when a return is made. One of the onlookers, Jordan, was among the onlookers and when he had a chance, he asked Leighton if he had also found an initial ring, he had a picture of. Leighton said no but he took a look at the picture and would ask the other detectorist who was some distance down the beach.

Leighton’s description from the photo he viewed sounded like I had the ring I had found. A walk back to talk with Jordan took a few minutes. When together we were told the story of the ring’s loss and history which verified the ring’s ownership.

Jordan’s girlfriend, Anne, had been swimming when the ring slipped from her finger. The ring was her great-grandfather’s ring with two dates engraved on the inside of the ring and initials for DH on the face of the ring. It was her ring. But she would have to wait until January to wear it again. Anne had returned to The Netherlands and Jordan would not follow until his return in January.

Now back on Cape Cod, I have great memories of a wonderful vacation and an unusual and unexpected return.

Lost Gold Engagement Ring Recovered In Gambrills Maryland!

  • from Baltimore (Maryland, United States)
Contact:

I was initially contacted by Shenna well over a month ago. She left me a voicemail stating that she was certain she lost her ring in her back yard a few weeks prior and after visually searching for it several times, she was unable to locate it.  Unfortunately, I was in the hospital at the time recovering from an appendectomy with some complications. I replied to Shenna and informed her of my situation and long story short, she was willing to wait until I was fully recovered to make arrangements to locate her ring.

I’m happy to inform you that today was the day that we agreed upon for me to come out and attempt to locate her lost ring. Shenna showed me where she thought she might have lost it while working in her beautiful garden. Once our conversation was over, I quickly got to work and within less than 5 minutes! Can you see it there hiding in the grass/straw???

Needless to say, Shenna was both amazed and grateful that her engagement was finally back where it belongs! Look at that great smile! A perfect ending to the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Lost Gold Engagement Ring Found and Returned, in Old Orchard Beach, Maine with a Metal Detector

  • from Old Orchard Beach (Maine, United States)

Hello, my name is Dennis Boothby and this is my 1st blog a a member of The Ring Finders. I have been an avid Metal Detectorist since 2001, almost 22 years. I retired in July 2021 and now have more time to devote to the hobby that I love, Metal Detecting. I find extreme pleasure, joy and personal satisfaction from returning lost rings, jewelry, phones, key fobs or any other metallic objects, to their rightful owners.   I am now a member of the The Ring Finders, a World Wide metal detecting organization whose sole purpose is to return lost items to the owner. How wonderful is that?.  Over the years I have found many rings, phones, jewelry keys, key fobs, etc and have been so fortunate to have returned many of those items to the rightful owners. Most days I can be found metal detecting on the beaches, parks, woods and fields,  in Old Orchard Beach, Saco, Pine Point and Kennebunkport , Maine.  I would consider it an honor to look for lost jewelry or other items that you may have lost. I will hunt beaches, parks, farms, RV parks, yards and other places, as long as permission is granted and it is safe to detect. I can also metal detect in Saltwater and Fresh water, waist to chest deep, as long as I can safely detect the body of water.  If you lost your item where the use of metal detectors is restricted, you would have to gain permission for someone to look for your item with a metal detector and transfer that permission to me.  While I usually metal detect in the Southern Maine counties of York and Cumberland,  I occasionally will travel further.  You may call me to discuss your location.   I charge a $25.00 call out, trip fee to cover travel expenses (fuel, parking, tolls, etc.). Requesting I travel outside my local area would likely increase the trip fee, usually .50 cents per mile over 30 miles from my home,  but that will be discussed at our initial contact.  I work on a ”Reward Basis Only”… that means you pay what it’s worth to you and what you can afford to have me find your lost item.  I am a member of The Ring Finders and you may find out more about this organization on their website.  You can also search  on YouTube for “The Ring Finders” to see many videos of successful recoveries of lost items.  If you have lost a treasured keepsake or other types of valuable items, please call or text me today, to see if I might be able to help recover it. Why rent a metal detector when a professional from The Ring Finders can help you ?

Thank you and I am looking forward to helping reunite you with  lost item.

Lost and found wedding ring in Carrying Place Ontario

  • from Cobourg (Ontario, Canada)

Received a text from Morgan yesterday about her husband Matt having lost his wedding ring the previous day in their yard. Matt was putting things away for the winter when, afterwards, he noticed his ring was gone. To makes matters worst, their yard was full of metal items in the ground and had about 4 inches of fresh snow from the previous day. Headed out and met with Morgan. After the usual questions and orientation, I got metal detecting the yard and within fifteen minutes or so, found the ring. Both Morgan and Matt were very happy and relieved that he was reunited with his ring again. Another happy ending.

Lost Diamond earring – Dauphin Island, AL

  • from Mobile (Alabama, United States)

I got a message from Roberta one evening about a gold and diamond earring she lost in the sand on Dauphin Island. In talking to her, she told me it was lost on the biggest beach area there – one where I dread looking for lost items because it’s soooo big with very few landmarks. Fortunately, she was smart enough to stick a big stick where she felt it come off, so I felt pretty good about going down to look.

It wasn’t five minutes into the hunt and the third target before her earring was shining in my scoop and soon back in her ear ! As always, reward declined ….. karma works for me.
