Wildwood, NJ – On a sunny afternoon, Pablo lost his wedding band when he shook out his beach towel and watched as his wedding band slipped off his finger and disappeared into the sand. He reached out to me the following day for help in retrieving his ring. With a detailed description of his location on the beach in hand, I set out to search for the ring. Upon arrival, I carefully surveyed the area, mentally marking the boundaries to ensure a methodical approach. Equipped with my metal detector, I began to sweep across the marked zone. It wasn’t long before the detector’s beeping signaled a find. The wedding band was pulled from the sand! The ring was returned!

Rose Gold Diamond Wedding Ring Lost at Softball Game…Found by Ring Finder Brian Rudolph in Vienna, Virginia

(PART 2 – The search continues for Emily’s lost rose gold and diamond wedding ring!)

After successfully finding Emily’s lost engagement ring, it was time to look for the wedding band. I searched all over that particular area where the blanket had been picked up but there was no more rose gold to be found at that time. Emily called her friend to ask her where she walked up a particular hill when they left towards the parking lot after the game. The idea was that there was a good chance that the ring stayed in the blanket and then fell somewhere on the hill as the young lady had made her way towards the asphalt.

I grid searched the entire rest of the area including the hill and unfortunately I did not find the wedding band. That’s when Steve contacted Emily’s girlfriend one more time and asked again for more detail. She remembered folding up the blanket which then gave us a good indication that the ring would have had to fall out of the blanket prior to walking towards the parking lot!

I immediately returned to the earlier search site down where I found the engagement ring. This time, I did a perpendicular grid search to see if maybe the ring had landed on an angle down in the grass which prevented me from getting a good signal earlier from the opposite direction. As it turned out, I indeed found Emily’s very special rose gold wedding band! It had not been very far from where the other ring was all that time! By doing the perpendicular grid, I hit that ring perfectly and the signal could not have been more obvious! Steve and I were so excited for Emily! We called her up on FaceTime and surprised her just moments after I successfully recovered the lost jewel from beneath the thick blades of grass! My client was thrilled at the news and relieved as well as at the sight of seeing her MIA gold and diamond filled wedding band that had been lost for three days in a very public environment! Even the grass had been cut earlier that day which could have potentially destroyed the irreplaceable jewelry!

In the end, both the engagement ring and the wedding band were successfully recovered! As a ring finder, there’s no greater feeling than helping people like Emily and Tyler! I am so glad that I talked Emily out of giving up and filing an insurance claim! Because of my passion for finding lost sentimental keepsakes, I was able to save yet another set of irreplaceable symbols of love that no insurance company could ever replicate!

Lost Wedding Band in Grant, Alabama…FOUND by Huntsville Ring Finder!

Christina McCree – Ring Finder/Metal Detectorist for northern Alabama and southern/middle Tennessee…call or text ASAP, anytime 24/7…610-504-6135

On Thursday (May 30th, 2024), I received a call from Chase stating he lost his tungsten wedding band on Monday, which was his 2-year wedding anniversary.  He had taken the ring off and put it in his pocket while doing the dishes.  Afterwards, he put 2 sets of keys in his pocket and went outside.  He took out one set of keys in front of his RV, and then took out the other set in-front of his car.  He later remembered the ring in his pocket, but it was gone.  We were both available on Sunday, so we planned a search for that morning.

I met Chase and his wife, Lindsey, at their home in Grant, Alabama around 9am on Sunday, June 2nd.  I had Chase show me where he was standing when he took out both sets of keys.  Not a huge area, but enough grass to easily hide a heavy tungsten ring.  I started searching at the first spot in front of the RV.  I didn’t receive any good ring like targets, so I moved to the second spot.  Soon after, I had a nice repeatable ring tone and could just barely see Chase’s wedding band!  I called Chase and Lindsey over to see if they could spot it, but it was hard to see amongst the grass.  Needless to say, Chase was very happy to have his wedding ring back!

We took some photos and chatted for a few minutes before my drive back to Huntsville.  Really nice meeting these folks and always happy to help!  I thank God the Father and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the successful recovery and safe travels.  Until the next adventure… please take care and God bless!

Lost wedding ring found under dock, Cocoa Beach, Florida…and returned to grateful owner!

  • from Sanford (Florida, United States)
Contact:

Doug and his wife had just returned from a beautiful day out on the water fishing and as they unloaded some personal items onto the dock a very special ring dropped from the small table and bounced and managed to fall directly through one of the cracks and into the water below. This was a super sentimental ring and meant the world to Doug’s dear wife. Doug got right at trying to find someone who could retrieve the ring and looked up « Ring Finder » on his phone. Theringfinders.com service came up and he noticed a number of members of this service were in the area but none of them were equipped to do an underwater search of this kind. Doug eventually found my number and gave me a call.

It was the middle of December and I attempted a recovery dive but the water was just way too cold and we decided to try again later on the following summer. So in May when the weather and water temperatures were much more bearable I showed up to give it another try. The oyster shells were strewn across the bottom and this made digging difficult and the visibility was only a foot or two…until I would start digging and then visibility went to 10 inches. Other members of theringfinders.com have shared a wonderful idea that helps with grid searching in these types of conditions and that is a sinking pvc square that will sit on the bottom which allows me to methodically search an area even though I cannot actually see where I am going or where I have been but by following the grid with one hand and scanning the bottom with my small handheld metal detector with the other hand…I can cover an area very thoroughly and when finished I am able to move the pvc grid to another area and thoroughly search that area as well until I find what I am looking for. (Doug had also informed me that a few years back the dock was completely destroyed in a hurricane…so there was an awful lot of other signals to sift through before God allowed me to find Doug’s wife’s lost ring!)

What an honor it was to help find and return this precious lost ring to its rightful owner!!

How can I help you? Call or text me ASAP at 321-363-6029!

Wedding ring lost in field, Holmdel NJ, recovered by Edward Trapper, NJ Ring Finder

  • from Lavallette (New Jersey, United States)

lost ring lbi nj ring finder jersey shore ring finder I received a call from a gentleman who was inquiring about my ring finding service. He was basically gathering information for his son, Nick. He explained that Nick was off loading some hay bales,  when one of the strings grabbed his wedding ring and flung it out into the cow pasture. We discussed how my services work, which he felt was extremely reasonable. His one main concern was that they had been looking for the ring about 1 week already, with a pretty decent metal detector, and had absolutely no luck finding it. He was wondering if the same thing would happen when I came in to try and locate the ring. I had explained that unless you are extremely experienced in recovering lost items, it could be very challenging, especially in a cow pasture with about a week of rain. Talk about smelly and muddy to say the least. He was going to talk it over with his son, and assured me I would most likely get a phone call in the next day or so. This was a private location so there was no rush. As  figured, Nick sent me a text asking if I wanted to give it a shot, to which I replied, absolutely! Nick’s one concern was being he had no luck, what do I think the odds of me finding the ring were. I assured Nick that if he was 100% positive his ring came off in the manner that was explained the night before, I was just about that positive I would be able to recover his ring. We made arrangements to meet after work that day. Once I arrived I put on my boots and out to the location we went. Again, as I do  with every,  I went over and over again exactly what, where, and how the ring flew off. After about 25 minutes covering every inch in multiple directions, all I had was a pouch full of trash. Actually, I was starting to think his ring may have not came off where he said. We took a few steps back to survey the location, and the only thing possible was the hay trailer was about 10’ or so closer to the road side of the field. I worked one or two paths from the already covered spot, and my machine let out the sweet sound of success!!!! I bent over and pushed the slop around until my pin pointer held a steady sound, and just as I figured, there was Nicks ring. I so so love when my clients are positive they know when their items fly off. Thank you agin Nick, it was a pleasure.

Guy’s Lost Wedding Band Found Near Flower Bed by Ring Finder in Rockville, Maryland

AJ’s 14 karat white gold wedding band found by professional metal detectorist Brian Rudolph in Rockville, Maryland

AJ’s mother, Maureen, holds up her son’s 14 karat white gold wedding band with a sigh of relief after ring finder recovers it in the grass along the right side of the house

Brian Rudolph, Lost Item Recovery Specialist (Land, Water, Sand, Snow, Leaves, Cliffs, Houses & Vehicles) Will Find Your Lost Keepsake! Call ASAP (301) 466-8644!

AJ had been married for only 3 years when he lost his 14 karat white gold wedding band at his parent’s house in Rockville, Maryland. While visiting his childhood property, he decided to help his folks with was some gardening around the property. By the end of the day, the young man realized that his irreplaceable keepsake was no longer on his finger.

AJ and his wife Jackie searched the flower beds and even in the grass where he was cutting some wood earlier in the day. Unfortunately, all of their efforts to recover the very ring that was put on his finger by Jackie on their very special wedding day led to no avail.

After the couple left the Maryland area to return to their home in Connecticut, AJ’s mother, Maureen, went online to see if she could find a professional metal detectorist who might be able to recover her son’s wedding band. The woman found the elite international directory of metal detectorists called THE RING FINDERS. Shortly thereafter I received a call from the concerned mother and we reviewed the story of the missing ring in full detail.

When I arrived at the Rockville, Maryland home on that very rainy and miserable day, Maureen took me around the parameter of the property and showed me all the places where her son AJ had been working. Then, I gathered up all of my metal detecting gear out of my vehicle and soon started scanning the grass as well as the flower beds for the 14 karat white gold ring.

I am delighted to share that after searching almost every square inch of potential space where AJ had been cutting wood and gardening, I hit a fantastic target signal coming from within the grass, on the right side of the house, less than a foot away from one of the garden beds. I knelt down, and there between the blades of grass I saw AJ’s very handsome symbol of love shining back at me! I was thrilled for the young man and his wife, as well as for my client Maureen who felt kind of guilty that her son lost his ring while trying to do a nice thing for his mother by doing tasks around the property.

As soon as I discovered the lost jewel, I shared my success with Maureen that the search was finally over! Then, the two of us contacted AJ to surprise him with the wonderful news that the ring had been recovered! He was beyond thrilled!

I left the Rockville residence feeling extremely fulfilled within me that I had yet again helped preserve very special memories that were connected with another priceless wedding ring!

On the official first day of summer Viola lost her platinum wedding band in the ocean while tossing a football on the beach in Cape May, NJ. After realizing that her ring had fallen off in the water, she saw a fellow metal detectorist combing the beach who referred her to me.  We set a time to meet and search for the ring.  The search began in waist deep water in the ocean and after a quick but though search, the ring was found 20 minutes later! The ring was recovered and returned to its owner!

Soldered Rings Lost While Swimming…FOUND in Gilbertsville, Kentucky!

Christina McCree – Ring Finder/Metal Detectorist for northern Alabama and southern/middle Tennessee…call or text ASAP, anytime 24/7…610-504-6135

On Wednesday (May 1st, 2024), I received a text message from Jillian stating she had lost her engagement ring and wedding band (soldered together) on Sunday in about 4 feet of water at Kentucky Dam Beach in Gilbertsville, Kentucky.  She had contacted another Ring Finder that lived closer, but she hadn’t heard back from him yet.  She asked for advice on what to do.  I told Jillian that if she hadn’t heard back from him by Friday, I would come out for a search.  Kentucky is further than I like to travel, but I have a hard time saying no to a ring search, lol.  That evening, I researched if metal detecting is allowed at the beach area.  It’s not, so I called the Kentucky Dam Lodge on Thursday morning to obtain special permission.  They granted me permission to metal detect for Jillian’s rings, but anything else I found would need to be turned in.  I said absolutely and told them that I would be there Friday morning.

I made the 3-hour and 20-minute drive from Huntsville, AL to Gilbertsville, KY early on Friday.  I stopped by the Kentucky Dam Lodge first to check in and make sure I was still good to detect.  Permission was granted, so I made my way to the beach to meet Jillian and her husband, Chris.

I put on my 3mm wet suit, grabbed my Minelab Equinox 900 and long-handled Xtreme Scoops sand scoop, and got in the water.  I had Jillian and Chris line me up with where Jillian had been standing.  She was playing with her daughter and was tossing her in the water.  On the last toss is when she felt her ring catch on to her daughter and slide off.

I started a grid search in that area.  The bottom was sandy when you first walked in, but quickly turned into small sized rocks/pebbles around the 4-foot area.  Over the course of an hour, I had one good sounding target in the ladies gold range, but could not get it in my scoop.  There were harder packed rocks in that area, making it difficult to get a good bite with my scoop.  I thought maybe it was a larger item beneath the surface, so I continued to check the area and expand my grid.  I easily dug a couple of pull tabs, but nothing else.

I kept going back to that one target.  Jillian really felt like it was in the area where she was standing during the loss.  I tried diving to retrieve the item, but I was too buoyant to stay on the bottom.  I had my diving weights in the truck, but Jillian offered to dive for the target.  I lined her up with where it was, and she dove with my pinpointer and flashlight.  I gently pushed her down, so she would not float back up.  Teamwork makes the dream work, lol!  She tried two times, but kept losing the spot.  On the third try I kept my coil over the target until she was there.  She instantly popped up and had the rings in her hand!!  Jillian was so excited and relieved to have her rings back!  I was slightly surprised, because I had so much trouble getting the item in my scoop.  Nonetheless, this elusive target was what we were after, and Jillian got to make the exciting recovery!

We both got out of the water and dried off before taking pictures.  I chatted with Jillian and Chris for a few minutes before I headed over to the Lodge to give them the good news and thank them again for the special permission.  Today (May 5th, 2024) is Jillian and Chris’s 8-year wedding anniversary!  It makes me so happy that Jillian has her rings back to celebrate their special day.  As always, I give all glory and praise to God for the recovery and safe travels.  Until the next adventure… please take care and God bless!
