Friend’s bachelorette weekend in Brigantine, NJ and all you want to do is get a good tan in. On day two of beautiful weather, drinking rosé, eating Wawa sandwiches, and laughing about life, we suddenly see our bride jump up and say she can’t find her ring. We all immediately run over and are on our knees digging through the sand. The sun is shining on us, some tears were shed, texts to each other’s significant others is in full swing and we decide to give the bride some space. Some took turns talking to the bride, random civilians pulled out their metal detectors or sifted through trash, others comforted from afar, and one friend decided to draw a ring on the sand. We felt helpless. Once John appeared, it was so simple. He found her ring in under 5 minutes and we all ran to her once she confirmed she had it. Josh and his family began their day at 7AM, setting up their tent at the picturesque Cove in Brigantine, New Jersey. However, sometime during the day, Josh discovered that his wedding band had gone missing. He speculated that it might have slipped off while he was changing his son’s diaper near their truck. Determined to recover the wedding band, Josh met with me later that day at the spot where they had set up camp. After digging several potential targets, I finally unearthed the lost wedding band – a fantastic conclusion to an eventful day in Brigantine, NJ.

Steve and his friends were in Ocean City, NJ when he lost his wedding band during a beach volleyball match. It got knocked off his finger after he hit an incoming ball, and he was not sure where it landed. He called me and I met him a little while later to start the search. I started in the area where he stood during the game and worked back and forth in the sand court. The ring rang up on the opposite side of the net and the group was able to go back to enjoying their time at the shore in Ocean City, NJ.

                      I received a call  from Ali Saturday afternoon after she realized she lost her 14k white gold

and diamond engagement ring in the sand during a day at the beach in Avalon,  New Jersey.

Ali gave me the details of how the ring was lost; she put the ring in her T-shirt pocket, and it

 must have fallen out when the shirt was removed.  The search began in the area where

 she and her family were sitting. And after a few swings of the metal detector, the ring was found!

Jack lost his Virginia Military Institute class ring while he and his family were in Brigantine, NJ for a beach day. The ring flew off his finger while tossing a ball back to people playing in the ocean. I started a grid search in the water and eventually worked my way toward the shore. Jack and his wife thought they might have been over to the right more, so I walked toward that direction along the shoreline. Three steps later, the sentimental ring was found!

Matt lost his wedding band while he and his son were jumping waves in Ocean City, NJ this past Friday. The ring was lost going in to high tide. The first attempt to recover it was nearly impossible due to the rough waves from the incoming tide, so I returned the next day at low tide to be able to go out farther in the ocean where it might have dropped. After about 20 minutes of searching, I got a nice signal from the metal detector and the ring was found!

I received a text message from Sydney asking for help. She lost her custom made Penn State University Graduation Ring. The ring was lost in the ocean while tossing a football it slipped off her finger. The search started at the waters edge and up the beach to the tide line. Where the ring was found.

Dan lost his wedding band while swimming in the ocean in North Wildwood, NJ yesterday. We made plans to meet today on the beach so I could detect during
low tide. After a thorough search in waist to chest-deep water,the ring was found several inches down in the sand.
