Lost Ring on the 4th of July

Lost Ring on the 4th of July

Kim contacted me on July 14th after receiving a referral for me on a local Facebook group. Over the 4th of July weekend, her son and family were playing soccer at our local high school. Her son put his ring on his gym bag during the game, but forget the ring was on there when he went to pick up the bag to leave.

Kim and her family tried searching for the ring themselves, even renting a metal detector and searching the field. Unfortunately, as the holiday weekend came to an end, her son and his wife had to travel back home, without his ring. As the search continued and the ring was nowhere to be found, Kim posted in a local group for help.

I met Kim and her husband at the soccer field where they showed me the area they believed the ring was lost 10 days earlier. I began my search and found the ring in 20 minutes.

I gave the ring to Kim and her husband and they couldn’t believe it was recovered. They  immediately Facetimed their son to give him the good news!

Thank you, Kim and family for entrusting me to locate the lost wedding band!

Lost Ring on Soccer Field

On June 18th, Josh contacted me regarding his lost wedding band. Josh was playing his weekly Wednesday soccer game with friends when he noticed his ring was no longer on his finger. Josh and his friends searched the field tirelessly, but had no luck. Josh googled « lost wedding ring » and found The Ring Finders website where he then contacted me.

I met him at the soccer field that day and he showed me where he believes he lost it. I then got to work, immediately searching the area where Josh believed he lost his ring. After about 15 minutes, I recovered the ring on the soccer field.

I called Josh to let him know that I found his ring and he was thrilled!

Thank you, Josh for entrusting me to locate your lost wedding band!

I received a call late in the afternoon of July 4th from a lady who informed me she was in about 4 feet of water when a wave smashed into her. She exited the water and realized her wedding ring set was missing from her finger. She said she searched not only in the water but also about 100 yards away where she was sitting. She believed her ring was lost in the water but not 100% sure. She was at a beach called Little Talbot Island which was about 40 miles from me. I determined the best time to search was the next day. I searched for about 4 hours both in the water and on the beach with no luck.  I called her up and let her know that I did not find the ring but not to give up hope as there would be some tide changes in a few days.  I think she gave up faith after hearing I did not find her rings. I returned 2 days later and found her wedding set in the water about 12″-14″ buried under the sand.  When I sent her a picture of her wedding set she called me crying and could not believe they were found…

If you lose something of value, I may be able to help you… Call or Text anytime…Adam 714-785-5111

**I received a call from a young frantic man who had only been married 1 month. He told me he went to the beach with his family over the Memorial Day Weekend and while packing up noticed his gold & diamond wedding ring was missing. He said he searched the entire area of the beach where they were and even the next day went and bought a metal detector still unable to find his ring. He lived out of State and was on is way home. I asked if a family member could meet me at the beach and show me the area he believed he lost the ring.  I searched the entire area and was unable to find the ring. I asked if he had been in the water? He told me he only went into the water to wash his hands but he made sure the ring was still on his finger when he got out of the water. He was positive the ring was not lost in the water. I checked the tide charts and decided to return later in the day. After searching the water area I was able to find his wedding ring.  Happy Wife = Happy Life…..

Keys Recovered in the Snow

Recovered Keys

In the early morning hours, I received a text message from Sawn who had been desperately searching for her keys in the snow. She searched for them but with no luck, and knowing the expense to replace these keys, she turned to the internet and found me on the Ringfinders web site.

I met Sawn in the parking lot of her apartment complex. After a brief conversation and walkthrough of her path, I got started.

After detecting for just minutes, I popped her keys out of 8 inches snow. Sawn was amazed and delighted. Within minutes of my arrival, Sawn was in her car and about her day.

Thank you Sawn, for entrusting me to locate your lost keys!

Yellow gold wedding band lost in Roseville, MN – Now found!

  • from Saint Paul (Minnesota, United States)

Zach was walking his dog in his yard in the snow when, after shaking snow off his hands, he noticed that his wedding band was missing. He rented a metal detector to find it, but came up empty-handed. He contacted 4 days later and I met him at his house the following morning.

We searched the obvious spot (where Zach shook his hands) and spread out about 10 feet from that spot. Having no luck, we decided to grid search the front, back and side yards but still no ring. As a last resort I asked Zach to rake all the snow away from two metal poles that were in his front yard. While Zach raked, I searched a couple less likely spots and found the ring near the house and about 15 feet away from where Zach shook his hands. Neither of us thought the ring could have flown that far! Next time I get the chance to search for a ring, I will search a little farther out from the most likely spot.

Zach was very happy to have his ring back on his finger.

Sand and Gravel Quarry… Broken Equipment…Found!

Chris Turner- Metal Detecting Service/Call ASAP  Anytime   778-838-3463

Most of my searches are for lost rings, cell phones, car and house keys… Today I got a call to travel two hours to a rock quarry in Agassiz BC, Armstrong Sand and Gravel LTD, to look for a broken part of machinery. It was the finger from a backhoe that had broken off and was hiding somewhere in the rock and gravel, out of sight.

This was a huge concern for if it made its way into the rock crusher it would’ve destroyed it completely (weighs close to 200 pounds), not a good time as we are just dealing with disastrous floods in the area for the past week. I didn’t realize how important a rock quarry is and how essential this service is, as without them it would be impossible to rebuild infrastructure’s like roads and railroad tracks, This company was incredibly busy unlike any other year in their history, section of our highway were closed for close to a week and we have lost the use of the Coquihalla highway that is the « lifeline » between BC and the rest of Canada. Most likely to re-open in January, Abbotsford which suffered huge floods are said to have a two year recovery ahead of them to rebuild their infrastructure… The floods caused at least 450 million in damages. Local crops were contaminated, vegetable crops destroyed by floodwaters.

My search took approximately one hour and 30 minutes and I found it in the third location.  It was covered up and buried but not deep, they were very very happy that it was found and they can continue crushing rocks and getting trucks out to rebuild the infrastructure’s and help our roads get fixed.

Signet Ring Found near Woodstock, Oxfordshire

When I realised the ring I had been wearing non-stop for the last 10 years wasn’t on my finger one morning, I immediately panicked. This ring was a 21st birthday gift from my parents, engraved with my initials on the top and a message from them on the underside, so it was incredibly sentimental to me. I wracked my brains as to where it could be and my heart sunk when I realised there was a chance I could have lost it on a run the day before.

I posted about losing my ring on an online neighbourhood community group which is where someone recommended ringfinders.com, which led me to finding Constantine. 10 days passed between losing my ring and Constantine coming to the rescue. These 10 days were spent tearing my hair out and turning my flat upside down, searching through hoover bags and food waste bins – glamorous!

I had a gut feeling that my ring would most likely be somewhere outside, as I had been cleaning out my guinea pig’s hutch the morning I noticed it missing, and it was a particularly cold morning so my fingers had probably shrunk and were verging on numb so I wouldn’t have felt the ring come off.

Constantine scanned the garden and piles of leaves thoroughly, but no joy. Then we decided to empty the garden waste bin (the contents of which covered the lawn!). I saw Constantine bend down to pick something up, and there it was! He’d found it! I couldn’t believe it.

Lost Gold Ring in swimming pond near London, Ontario

  • from London (Ontario, Canada)

While using a rope swing in this beautiful Pond by Rodney, Ontario, this gentleman’s wedding ring slipped off when he let go and hit the water. After long breath holds in 10-15 feet of water with no luck, he found me on the ring finders site. I brought my scuba equipment out and suited up, after a 1/2 hour swinging my metal detector over the mud, that buzz sounded and the ring showed up with it’s gold shine through that fine silty water! What a happy customer!
