White Gold Wedding/Engagement Band Set-Found!

  • from Chattanooga (Tennessee, United States)

Ryan contacted me several weeks ago about his wife’s white gold wedding/engagement band set she had lost in a grassy area of the apartments where they lived in Chattanooga.  Because of his busy work schedule he had a difficult time getting the search arranged.  I think he had actually purchased an off-the-shelf metal detector at a local store, but was apparently overwhelmed with the large amounts of metallic trash in the ground.  We finally managed to arrange a search on June 9th.  I arrived at the location at 7:15 PM on June 9th.  I started my search as soon as I got the story from him, because we didn’t have much daylight left.  Around 35 minutes later I found the engagement band portion totally hidden below the grass around four feet from the base of a large tree.  It took me right at an hour more to find the wedding band portion, and it was about twenty feet from where I found the other half.  It ended up being in an area outside of the original search zone.  The grass had been cut, so maybe that’s how it ended up being over there.  This portion of the ring was in full view of anyone walikg by, so it’s amazing nobody had seen it.

North Wildwood NJ, 2 Gold Rings found!

  • from Cape May (New Jersey, United States)
I received a call from Lindsay who explained that she had lost both of her rings in the sand this afternoon. Lindsay had taken her rings off and placed the rings on her lap to apply sunscreen. She then stood up and moved about the beach before she realized what had happened. I took the short ride over to North Wildwood and met up with Lindsay. After a brief search she had both rings back on her fingers. One of which had extreme sentimental value as is it was her late mothers ring. Lindsay was referred to me by a previous client that I had recovered an engagement ring for back in 2016 on the very same beach!
Another happy client!

Lost Engagement Ring FOUND in Essex, Maryland!

I received a call from Teresa early this morning (5/30/2023) stating she lost her engagement ring close to her house. I offered to come out later in the week as I did not have my equipment with me nor was I home. She asked if there was any way possible that I could come out today. I could hear it in her voice she was frantic as she was concerned that where she lost it was a heavy foot traffic area and that someone else may find it. I was able to change up my schedule for the day and we met midafternoon. Teresa was very confident in the area that she lost it, so I immediately got to work. Due to the high amount of interference in the area, I needed to fine tune my equipment to eliminate false signals. Shortly thereafter, I was able to call Teresa over to show her what I found. She immediately started crying tears of joy! I’m glad I was able to return this ring to its thankful owner. If you find yourself in a situation like or similar to Teresa, please don’t hesitate to contact me! The quicker I get involved, the greater are the chances of a successful recovery!

LOST WEDDING RING in DURHAM, NC……. FOUND!!

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)
I received a text from a gentleman over in Durham, NC about his wedding ring being lost in the backyard.
The story goes, his 3 yr old daughter picked it up off a table and made a beeline to the backyard to give it to her mom. Only she didn’t make it before she dropped it in the grass.
After getting there and getting the story, it took me about 5 mins to locate and get it back to him! The 3 girls were watching and telling me where baby sister was when she lost the ring. Crazy enough the 3 yr old was pretty close to where she lost it!!

Wedding Band Lost in Colona, IL…Found

  • from Bettendorf (Iowa, United States)

In late January of this year, Ryan lost his wedding band in his back yard.  We had just gotten several inches of new snow, and Ryan had been clearing the snow from his driveway, sidewalk, and deck.  Ryan’s hands got a bit cold and his wedding band slipped off without him realizing it.  It wasn’t until he was back inside his home when he noticed that his ring was missing.  I received a call from Ryan’s wife, Kate, who asked me if I could come out and look for Ryan’s ring.  I told Kate that I would be at her home within an hour.

I arrived at Ryan and Kate’s home and I was given a tour of the areas where Ryan had been working.  I grabbed my detector and began searching for Ryan’s ring.  I searched in all of the areas where Ryan had been working, but due to the amount of snow, cold temperature, and additional target signals, I made a decision to stop the search.  I informed Ryan and Kate that I would return after snow melt and when the weather permits.

Fast-forward to yesterday, Saturday, April 29.  I arrived back to Ryan and Kate’s home for a warm weather search for Ryan’s ring.  I began retracing my previous search area in an opposing grid.  Within about 30 minutes I hit on a solid signal in the grass.  My trusty pin-pointer located a white gold wedding band.  It was at this moment that Kate was coming out of the house for an update, and I asked her if this was the ring that Ryan was missing.  Kate was very happy and I will never forget the expression on her face as I handed her Ryan’s ring.  This is the best part about what I do as a Ring Finder.

Ring Lost in Milan, IL…Found

  • from Bettendorf (Iowa, United States)

Note: I am posting this many months after finding the ring, but I wanted to share this wonderful event.

I received a call for a lost ring in late February 2022.  The temperatures were mild for a February here in the Midwest and a gal I’ll refer to as Michelle, had been doing a little cleanup in her flower garden.  During the cleanup process Michelle’s ring came off of her finger.  It was a classic case of being mild enough to be outside, but still cool enough to easily have a ring slip off of your finger.

I received a call from Michelle and she explained her situation and she asked if I could look for her ring.  Michelle stated that the ring had more sentimental value to it than anything else as it was a gift to her from her grandson.  I informed Michelle that I would be over to her home within an hour.

I drove over to Michelle’s house and I was shown the flower garden and approximate location to search.  I grabbed my detector and went to work.  Within about 10 minutes I located Michelle’s ring and made her very happy.

Gold Earring Found!

  • from Pacifica (California, United States)

I was called out by a woman who lost her earring in the thick grass and clover at the Marina Green in San Francisco. She gave me the approximate area that she believed it was lost in. Using landmarks to walk a grid it took about an hour to locate, which considering the size of the area, was quicker than I thought it might be. She was very happy. Her hands were shaking as she tried to pay me my call-out fee and a generous finder’s reward. It was a nice end to the day. Always a pleasure to reunite folks with their precious items – usually more sentimentally than monetarily.

Engagement Ring Recovered In Sea Bright NJ

Got a late night text from Liliette asking for help in finding her lost engagement ring. I texted her back in the morning and told her to call me when i went on break at work. When she called i told her if she could meet me right away i could drive to Sea Bright and give it an hour and half to try to find her ring. She lives 45 minutes from the beach and said she’d leave ASAP. Mean time I asked for a screen shop of beach and to mark the area she lost the ring. I got to the beach and started to hunt the area but no luck. She arrived with her Fiance and I showed them where I worked and they said I was in the right area. Seem they were there the day before with their dog enjoying the day. The dog at one time desided to run and jerked the leash out of her hand and her ring came off as well and landed in the soft sand and disappeared. They tried to look themselves but had no luck. Then after thinking about it her fiance remember her saying she didnt hope it was going to get washed out with the tide. Where I had already searched was alittle higher up on the beach and I had about a 20 foot wide area from there to the water I didn’t search. I started searching that area and sure enough just at the high tide mark from last nights high tide I found her ring. She couldn’t of been more excited that I found it. Today was their 1 year anniversary of getting engaged. A great Happy Ending.
