Lost Rings Niantic Connecticut… Found!

  • from Westerly (Rhode Island, United States)

Two diamond rings were lost in a grassy yard while a woman was playing with her dogs. The owner placed her rings in a pocket before taking her dogs outside and that was the last time they were seen. While playing, the rings were shaken from the pocket lost in the grass. After searching for hours at night with a flashlight in hand – no luck. She decided to search for a metal detector online to try and find the lost rings when she came across my website and emailed me. About 10 minutes into the search for her lost rings, I found both in the center of the yard only inches apart. Another owner reunited with her very sentimental possessions! As always, it was a pleasure to help find the lost rings!

Lost Wedding Ring Recovered Minnesota Scuba Metal Detecting

  • from Twin Cities Metro (Minnesota, United States)

Burt lost his ring in the lake behind his home. He was swimming in approx. 20 feet of water when he felt it slip off. He tread water for quite a while as to not lose where he lost the ring and his wife went to find a float and anchor to mark the spot. This was great thinking as it helps me get close while diving for the ring. Burt and his wife were heading out for a belated honeymoon to Europe in a couple days and Burt really wanted his ring for that trip. This recovery was tough, Minnesota has a « thermocline » – This means the water temperature really plummets at a certain depth. The ring was deep and I knew it would be very cold which limits search time. Another issue was the weeds and muck. As soon as you start searching the muck stirs up and it completely blinds you. After removing an old 10 foot long dock pole and some old beer cans, I got a solid hit. The ring was approx. 1 and half feet down into the muck. I think I got really lucky on this one, but either way it is back where it belongs, on Burt’s finger!

Congrats and please thank Ian again for helping me carry my gear.

Tungsten wedding band lost at Fort Lauderdale Beach Florida… found..

I was on a call out to Fort  Lauderdale Beach Florida to find a ring in the water and the seaweed  was so thick I had to stop . Then I got a call on my cell phone about as I was leaving the beach about a lost Tungsten Ring in the dry sand. I immediately went to their location and found their tungsten ring

Lost Gold Wedding Band at Ala Moana Beach Park Lagoon…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began when I got a phone call from Alexcia stating her husband Jon just lost his White Gold Wedding Band in chest deep water at Ala Moana Beach Park. I was just finishing up an errand at the drugstore and told her I could be there after I stopped home to get my detecting gear. They had to take the baby home to Manoa and said Jon would return immediately and meet me at the Park. 15 minutes later we were walking out to the water for the hunt. Jon explained to me that he was wrestling with his wife and other family members when his ring slipped off in chest deep water. Jon entered the water with me and was my seaward marker of the grid search. The area was sterile and on about the 7th leg of the grid search I got a nice 13 on the Nox in belly deep water. The ring had a tall surface area and the first few scoops were unsuccessful. Finally on the 5th scoop there was Jon’s white gold wedding band in the scoop. Jon was so thankful and his wife would be extremely pleased also. No dog house for Jon. Aloha to Jon!

Lost ring in sand volleyball court, Orlando, Fl…..Found and Returned!

When Matt called me I could tell by his voice he was a bit concerned about a special ring he had lost earlier that day! Here is the story in Matts own words. « Mike with The Ring Finders saved my vacation! While playing volleyball with my wife and two young sons, my college ring slipped off my finger and fell into the sand of the volleyball court. My heart immediately sank. As a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, our Aggie rings are sacred and my first thought was that I would never see my ring again. I searched for over an hour with no luck and after a brief Google search, my wife suggested calling The Ring Finders. After speaking with Mike, I was immediately put at ease. He was genuinely sympathetic and concerned and let me know he would be there as soon as he could. When he arrived he let me know that he felt good about finding my ring and more importantly told me that he and his family had been praying for the successful recovery of my lost ring! As a follower of Jesus Christ, this both gave me comfort and reiterated to me that I had made the right choice in calling Mike. After a brief search Mike recovered my lost ring and saved the day and our trip! The entire experience with Mike was fantastic! I can’t say it enough, thank you for saving the day and God bless! Lost ring in Wildwood, NJ FOUND!

  • from Cape May (New Jersey, United States)

Received a call from Travis after his wedding band dropped into the surf while attempting to secure it to his drawstring on his bathing suit. After gathering some information from Travis I decided to take the family to the beach where he lost the band since we were headed out to the beach anyways. Conducted a brief 20 minute hunt and recovered the ring in “about” knee deep water, much to the relief of Travis (I think he thought it couldn’t be done 😉)

Clients (wife) review of service: « Thanks so much Jeff for coming out on a Sunday and saving the day! We definitely thought it was gone forever. So lucky we found you. Absolutely amazing!! »

Lost ring at Mission Beach found.

  • from La Jolla (California, United States)

Tim and his family were spending the day at Mission Beach on Thursday. He had set up a tent and was soon informed that camping tents were not allowed. In his haste to strike the tent and gather the gear, apparently, his ring came off. When he discovered it missing, naturally, they all looked in the bags, gear, tent, and sand, but. no ring. I get the call on Saturday in the early afternoon. They had returned to the beach at the same location hoping to find the ring. Knowing the traffic and parking nightmare that is Mission Beach on a Saturday afternoon, I was able to convince the wife to come along so she could drop me off and then look for the mythical parking spot. All worked as planned, and after meeting the wife and kids, getting the low down on how the ring was lost, and being shown the search area, I begun my search. Maybe 15 seconds later, I get my first target, a solid 21 on the Equinox, and scooped up his cobalt (only my second one of these) wedding ring. Tim got me right on the spot! Everyone was thrilled and better able to enjoy the rest of the day. My wife hadn’t found that theoretical parking spot yet, so, she circled around, came back, and picked me up. Drive time, over an hour, recovery time less than a minute! A pleasure meeting you all, and thank you for the reward.
