White Gold Wedding/Engagement Band Set-Found!

  • from Chattanooga (Tennessee, United States)

Ryan contacted me several weeks ago about his wife’s white gold wedding/engagement band set she had lost in a grassy area of the apartments where they lived in Chattanooga.  Because of his busy work schedule he had a difficult time getting the search arranged.  I think he had actually purchased an off-the-shelf metal detector at a local store, but was apparently overwhelmed with the large amounts of metallic trash in the ground.  We finally managed to arrange a search on June 9th.  I arrived at the location at 7:15 PM on June 9th.  I started my search as soon as I got the story from him, because we didn’t have much daylight left.  Around 35 minutes later I found the engagement band portion totally hidden below the grass around four feet from the base of a large tree.  It took me right at an hour more to find the wedding band portion, and it was about twenty feet from where I found the other half.  It ended up being in an area outside of the original search zone.  The grass had been cut, so maybe that’s how it ended up being over there.  This portion of the ring was in full view of anyone walikg by, so it’s amazing nobody had seen it.

Ring lost in Coronado found

  • from La Jolla (California, United States)

Michael was at the beach tossing a ball around when his yellow gold wedding ring flew off into the dry sand and disappeared. Having lost his ring before, and with a good outcome by contacting TheRingFinders.com, he knew just who to call this time. I headed over quickly and met Michael at a pre-arranged spot. He escorted me to the search area and explained the circumstances on how the ring was lost. Not a big area, maybe 20 foot square, and after a minute or so, I got the signal I was expecting. A probe with my pin pointer zeroed in on the target and I plucked his ring from the sand. Michael was a happy repeat customer. Thank you for the reward.

LOST WEDDING BAND IN LAFAYETTE,LOUISIANA – FOUND

  • from Lafayette (Louisiana, United States)
Contact:

We received a call from August late one afternoon. He had lost his gold wedding band, in a flower bed, when adding mulch. He searched but did not find it. When he gave his location, we realized it was just a 10 minute drive. Carrie and I loaded the detectors in the truck and went to the site. Carrie, as always, grilled the client while I prepped the equipment. She thought it logical for the ring to fall off when he washed his hands over the flower bed. She claimed that search area and I started on the other end of the bed. We used pin pointers and crawled through the bed. Carrie found the ring under a flower plant in 10 minutes. After some pictures we left for supper.

Thanks, August, for the generous reward.

Gold Rings found in Lake Zurich

  • from Chicago (Illinois, United States)
Contact:

Received a call from a woman in Lake Zurich that said she lost 2 rings, one a small white gold diamond wedding band and the other a was a Gold Claudaugh ring which was the most important to her as it was her grandfathers. She said she was sunning herself and placed her rings on the chair next to her, she got up moved the chair and forgot about the rings, looked for hours with no success. She said her Daughter was running around the entire yard and may have picked them up so I was figuring on having to do the entire yard, just thought if she just lost them by moving the chair they would be right there. I swept the detector over the area she had the chair and found the first one in about a minute second one right after that total of about 3 minutes. The grass was high and the rings made it to the surface totally out of view. Happy ending, preferred not to be photographed so just have a hand shot.

Two months lost — wedding ring now found!

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)

Got a call from a gentleman who asked for help in finding his wedding ring. Seemed simple enough. Playing volleyball in the back yard with his son, he felt the ring come off and heard it hit a solid surface with a ping. He and his wife scoured the back yard, the patio, and under the deck — no luck. They then bought an inexpensive metal detector to search more thoroughly — again, no luck. We made arrangements for me to come to the house and search…that’s when the wife mentioned that the ring had been missing for two months. They thought maybe a squirrel or other animal had made off with it because they’d been unable to locate it themselves. Two months missing won’t affect the ring itself, other than to allow it to settle a tiny bit further in the dirt. After about an hour of grid searching the back yard, I was able to locate the ring. As the couple had only been married a short time, the silicone temporary replacement ring they’d bought off Amazon was a poor substitute for the « original ». Very glad to be able to reunite the husband and his ring!

Lost Gold Engagement Ring Recovered In Gambrills Maryland!

  • from Baltimore (Maryland, United States)
Contact:

I was initially contacted by Shenna well over a month ago. She left me a voicemail stating that she was certain she lost her ring in her back yard a few weeks prior and after visually searching for it several times, she was unable to locate it.  Unfortunately, I was in the hospital at the time recovering from an appendectomy with some complications. I replied to Shenna and informed her of my situation and long story short, she was willing to wait until I was fully recovered to make arrangements to locate her ring.

I’m happy to inform you that today was the day that we agreed upon for me to come out and attempt to locate her lost ring. Shenna showed me where she thought she might have lost it while working in her beautiful garden. Once our conversation was over, I quickly got to work and within less than 5 minutes! Can you see it there hiding in the grass/straw???

Needless to say, Shenna was both amazed and grateful that her engagement was finally back where it belongs! Look at that great smile! A perfect ending to the weekend before Thanksgiving.
