A Friend Steps In To Assist, And Find A Lost Wedding Band On Topsail Beach

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

Charles was playing volleyball on the beach and soon afterwards noticed his platinum wedding band was missing. After a hour of searching, Charles called Crystal Coast Ring Finders.  I explained to Charles that I was currently out of the state of North Carolina and would be for a few more days.  I did tell him I have trustworthy friends I call upon at times I am unavailable to search lost items.  Once scheduling allowed, my friend Carl agreed to contact Charles and set up a time to meet and search.

Charles was very good at knowing the approximate area for Carl to start and within 10 minutes, Carl’s Minelab Equinox 800 reported a good 22 signal for Carl to investigate and sure enough, it was Charles lost ring.

Lost Diamond Gold Wedding Ring in Magna, UT- Found

I received a call from a gentleman who’s wife had lost her diamond gold wedding ring while working in the chicken coop. she was laying straw down for the chickens and ducks when she noticed it was missing. The ring was very sentimental cause the diamond in the ring was a gift from a family member. It took all of about 10 minutes to locate the ring that was camouflaged in the straw. They were so excited and couldn’t believe how fast I was able to find it! I am super happy it’s back where it belongs!

how to find a buried water spigot in Valley Wa.

  • from Spokane (Washington, United States)

Excite, hopeful ,looking toward the future Sandra stood with her husband in front of their newly purchased home. As the couple took it all in the pervious owner gave them the run down on the homestead. He reminisced about growing up there and it being like new back in the 1930’s. Sandra asked the man if there was ever a water spigot further away from the home. He squinted his eyes while looking south. Raising his arm in the air his bony finger pointed toward the middle of the yard.  « Somewhere over there », he exclaimed with a precise approximation. So with that lump of information Sandra began digging. « I felt like I was  digging to China » Sandra said as I began my search. See Sandra gave up on her search and found a guy with a metal detector…Me. I quickly made my grid search over Sandra’s dig site. Expanding the grid I noticed a wet patch of dirt. Low and behold a massive signal was near the wet dirt.  My shovel made a loud thud as I plunged it into the wet dirt. With a quick square cut into the sod Sandra’s spigot appeared. Smiling and excited Sandra’s shed idea was becoming fully realized.

Late Father’s Wedding Ring Lost & Found In Jacksonville Flower Bed

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

Marilee texted me that she is devastated because she just lost her father’s 1937 wedding ring while working in her flower garden.  She had read that Crystal Coast Ring Finders had helped a woman find a ring, also lost in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

After finding numerous pieces of aluminum and landscape fabric staples, a detector coil sweep around a small bush produced a decent signal and peering around the bush, the gold wedding band was discovered laying between the bush and the home.

LOST SENTIMENTAL WEDDING RING in CHARLOTTE, NC……. FOUND!!

  • from Fayetteville (North Carolina, United States)

“BREAK OUT THE TISSUES FOR THIS ONE!”

Got a call Saturday, from the ring finders page, while up in WV. A newly wed, down in Charolette, NC had lost his wedding ring while aerating his lawn and putting down straw in his backyard. It had been missing since Wednesday of last week. We agreed that after I got off work at 2 on Monday, I would drive down to attempt to find it.

2:00 pm today, I jump in the truck and start the 2.5 hour trip. I get there just before 5 PM and start right away.

30 mins later I get a good on top, but under the straw hit! I look down and I can see GOLD!!!

The story gets better or a little more “tug at your heart strings” sentimental. You might be asking yourself, “WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE MORE SENTIMENTAL THAN A WEDDING RING?” How about his dad’s wedding ring that was passed down by his mom to use for his wedding after he passed away about 2 yrs ago.

Man I love to help find and reunite lost items for folks!!! I love the drive, hunt, finding them, then seeing that smile on their face again! Only to find out more to the story many times, just like this one!!

June 2022 Josh called asking for support in retrieving his dropped wedding band. He was having a meal with his family and friends at Duke’s Seafood. They were sitting outside on patio enjoying the view when his wedding band slipped off his finger rolled down his leg and fell through the cracks of the deck. It then plunked into the sea water below.

After our initial phone conversation Josh was able to visit the restaurant and make some small marks on the patio. This allowed me to come in days later to work the mission while he was busy at work. This is something I often arrange as everyone keeps very busy these days. We tend to find a way to get all the necessary information to enable us to realize a recovery.

Having the exact spot marked and documented afforded me a lot of saved time during the dive search. Good information and intel often lead to best results. We appreciate Josh for reaching out for assistance ands willingness in dropping by the site to do this extra step. Ultimately it resulted in an efficient recovery and him getting his precious wedding band back from the sea!

Watch the video to see the recovery of Josh’s dropped wedding band from the depths of Puget Sound.

Lost Gold Ring in Salt Lake City, Utah- Found

This was actually my first call of 2023 after a large snow storm rolled through Utah. Jefferey and his girlfriend were having a snowball fight when he noticed his large gold ring came off his finger. I met them at the scene of the battle and quickly searched the area which was littered with trash. After about two hours, I was unsuccessful of locating the ring. Since it was right next to a busy road and plenty of interference, I knew I need to come back with a smaller coil.

The next week, the snow had melted and I was in route back to my house with about 15 minutes to kill so I stopped by the area. I put on my smaller coil and right next to the powerline cable was the ring. There was a few pieces of trash around it but it was literally about a foot from the sidewalk and anyone could have came by and grabbed it. The reason why I haven’t posted this recovery earlier is that I am still trying to get in touch with Jefferey as his phone number has been disconnected. I am hoping he will reach out to me following the post.

LOST GOLD RING IN LEXINGTON, NC…… FOUND!

  • from Fayetteville (North Carolina, United States)

I received a text from Mrs. Jeanette on Sunday night. She said she found me on the ring finders page. She asked for help finding her gold ring with diamonds. I said sure!

She lives in Lexington, NC (2 hour drive one-way). I get there and she tells me about how she lost it and where she marked the area with a stick.

I get my gear out and 5 mins later, BOOM!!! I can see her ring just under some grass. She couldn’t believe I found it so fast. It was less than 2 feet fro the stick too!!

Then I had my 2 hour drive back home!

I love helping out and putting smiles back on someone’s face!!
