Clam Digging Results With Wedding Set Lost in the Mud – Found Days Later

Brenda called Crystal Coast Ring Finders for help trying to locate her missing 3 piece wedding set.  Brenda was out trying to find clams in the very shallow waters of the Bogue Sound.  It wasn’t until the next morning she realized her wedding set was missing.  I asked her many questions about what she did after being in the water and it was determined the rings were more likely lost in or near the muddy area she searched for clams.  The day I met the couple (married 55 years!) the weather was less than favorable with strong winds keeping the tide higher than normal and white cap waves at times.  After a few passes, I informed them this was not ideal conditions and I would return soon to try again.  On the second attempt, I tried to take advantage of the negative low tide that day and get out as far as she informed me she hunted on that sad day. As I expected, I found many items of garbage but no rings.  The third day I returned and after checking my tracking software realized there was still an area that needed more attention.  After a while I finally came across a very solid signal and was hoping it wasn’t garbage.  I brought my scoop up out of the mud and after clearing the debris, I noticed that spectacular shine of gold!  I marked the location of the first ring and about 3 foot away I found a very similar signal.  It was Brenda’s engagement ring.  Once again, I marked the area in the water with a pole and seared again.  Once again at around 3 feet further was the last ring!  It was apparent to me she lost the rings throwing something.  Brenda explained she was digging with her right hand if she found an empty shell, she would toss it into an area she already hunted.

Brenda informed me her friends were very doubtful any of the rings would be found and even encouraged her to file an insurance claim on the lost rings.  When I informed Brenda (who had returned to Pennsylvania) I have found all 3 rings, she told me she filed a claim the previous day and would now call them back to cancel the claim and save her the deductible amount.  Brenda and her husband Floyd for 55 years returned back to North Carolina a few weeks later and I was very happy to return the rings to her in person and I really enjoyed visiting them.

Lost Heirloom Gold Necklace Found By Crystal Coast Ring Finders Metal Detector Service – Emerald Isle, NC

Morgan was spending time with his family in Emerald Isle.  While on the beach, Morgan decided to go surfing with his brother and removed his necklace before heading out into the surf.  Upon returning, he had forgot about the necklace and packed up quickly and left the beach.  Morgan stated he and 12 other people searched for 3 hours that same evening and he came back the following morning to search for 2 additional hours and could not find his lost heirloom necklace.  Morgan reached out to me later that morning and I arrived shortly afterwards to meet Morgan’s father.  Morgan needed to get back home (out of town) and his father showed me the search area on the beach.  It took me less than 30 minutes to pull Morgan’s lost necklace from the high tide line of the beach.  This was a very memorable recovery and everyone involved was so thankful.  (Morgan’s father in the recovery photo)

Daughter’s Lost Necklace Found Days Later – Emerald Isle, NC

An official from Emerald Isle spotted a young girl combing through the sand, who shared that she had lost her necklace and appeared quite distressed about it. Later, the same official saw me metal detecting further down the beach and informed me about the lost necklace belonging to Anna’s daughter. I reached out to Anna and conducted a search the following day. Regrettably, a large group had set up right where I needed to search. I did my best to search the surrounding area without intruding on their space, but the necklace remained elusive that day.
A few days later, I arranged to meet my friend Carl in the same vicinity. He had already been scouring the beach by the time I got there. As I began a grid search above his location, I mentioned the lost necklace to him. To our astonishment, he produced Anna’s daughter’s necklace from his finds pouch! Having trustworthy friends is truly invaluable. The Kendra Scott necklace might not have been expensive, but it clearly held significant sentimental value for Anna’s daughter.

Lost wedding ring in Lincoln Nebraska

Erin was doing yard work today, later on she realized her wedding ring of 29 years was not on her finger. She contacted us and we headed over. She was very detailed as to the work she was doing and where. My son and I got to work, 10 minutes later we surprised her with her ring. Always a blessing to help others.

White Gold Diamond Pendent Necklace Found Terwillegar Neighborhood, Edmonton Alberta.

I received a text from Preena on Tuesday inquiring what I charged to find a diamond necklace lost in a back yard.  When I spoke with Preena, she informed me that her daughter was attending her graduation party in a friends back garden.  After asking Preena many questions I agreed to meet up with her the next day.

When I met Preena at the house and she showed me pictures of her daughter with and without the necklace on her!  Preena said that the had searched the back garden with out any luck, and I reassured Preena if the neckless was lost in the garden I would find it!

It took me over one hour to locate the necklace.  Preena was grateful to have the necklace back as the necklace was very sentimental to her.   It was gifted to her by her husband when her third child was born.  Preena had given the necklace to her eldest daughter on her graduation day.
