Lost White Gold Diamond Ring in Ringgold Georgia…Found

  • from Chattanooga (Tennessee, United States)

White gold and diamond ring was lost while tending to the flower beds in the back yard.  The couple had bought a metal detector to search for it themselves with no luck.  After looking for it for around two weeks, they found me on www.theringfinders.com .  Since the location was close for me I headed over there immediately.  I found the ring in less than 30 minutes buried in the grass just outside of one of the flower beds.

Lost Platinum Diamond Ring in Chattanooga Tennessee…Found

Conner contacted me late Sunday afternoon, on October 28th, around 5:00 PM.  The ring was actually platinum, my first one, so I wasn’t certain what it would read on the CTX.  It gave me a solid 12-03, in the high-trash mode, very similar to white gold. I have attached a couple photos of the happy lady.

« After a heavy rain, the night before, my fiancée and I were getting one of our cars unstuck in the yard. Little did we expect her engagement ring would go flying off her finger into the grass. We both quickly went into a panic as this is a family diamond passed on for generations. We tried everything to find the ring from crawling for hours to borrowing our neighbor’s metal detector. After six hours we were running out of daylight. I got online and found Ed Hart! He understood how important it was and drove over immediately to help find it. Within three minutes he had found her RING! We can not thank Ed enough. It is hard to find such wonderful people like him! Thanks again Ed you a lifesaver!  »

Lost wedding ring in ocean, Ormond Beach, Florida….Found and Returned!

Brett called me Sunday evening and asked if I was still helping people find their lost rings. That is usually a dead give away that they or someone close to them, needs help! Brett went on to explain that earlier that day he and his family were on the beach enjoying the sun. sand and surf and while playing catch with a football he felt his ring slip off of his finger. He was only in ankle deep water and he thought he would be able to retrieve it but try as he might, he could not find his lost ring. He said he was really bummed out and he slowly gave up hope of ever seeing his lost wedding ring again.
Later that evening , while at a restaurant, Brett’s friend showed him his phone and said, « Take a look at this! ». And there displayed on his screen was theringfinders.com web site and a story about a successful lost ring recovery. That was all it took for Brett to find my name and number and the next morning we made arrangements to meet on the beach.
Bright and early the next day Brett and his lovely wife, Christian, showed me the area where the ring fell into the water and I set up my four flags and started searching. Nothing showed up in the 20 X 40 foot area so I expanded my grid to either side. Fifteen minutes into the search and I got a cracking signal on my Dual Field Whites metal detector and three inches down was Brett’s lost ring. As I shook the sand from the scoop I looked up and Christina and her friend were sunning themselves and they did not notice that I had found the lost ring. So I walked up to their lounge chairs and shook the scoop so they could hear the clinking sound of the ring and that brought them to their feet! The relief and joy on Christina’s face and the long hug was evident that this day was going to be remembered for a long time. Thank you Brett and Christina for calling me and giving me the opportunity to help you and for your generous reward! God bless you both! Lost something valuable? Give me a call ASAP!

On Wednesday evening Feb 7th, 2018, I was feeding 3 of the horses in barn, I threw some hay in stall for them, watered them and then went in house. Next morning I had realized I was not wearing my wedding set!!! This was a new wedding set my husband had saved money to buy me for our 25th Anniversary just 10 months ago. I went to barn and one of the girls had already cleaned out all the stalls and threw the manure in field where it had been trampled over by least 4 other horses and had been raining for 4 days straight, it looked hopeless to say the least. I spent all that day in rain knee deep in manure and mud with small detector hunting for ring, the horses had been moved from barn to horse arena, so now it could been stepped on and in arena maybe, I spent next day for 7 hours in arena and nothing, I went back to barn opened stall doors and under door was the diamond wedding band but No solitaire diamond .

I found Ed Hart on line through www.theRingFinders.com and he is about two hours away, he gladly said he would be up next day. Saturday morning feb 11th 2018 Ed was right on time. He started in each stall and some of the manure in barn a hour into searching the rain started pouring again, he put on rain gear and we started outside the barn where girls had thrown manure from that Thursday, when stepping into the field area your boots would get stuck instantly was about 8 inch deep from all rain and mud. I had a area marked for him to search and he hit on something and started to dig then another hit, my husband started digging for him because mud was so bad you would get stuck in it, all the sudden where the hit was and my husband said I GOT IT! I gave ED great big hug, it would have never been found without Ed Hart and www.theRingFinders.com .  Thank You again ED you are the best!

Lost gold ring in Lake Dora, Mt. Dora, Florida….Found!

As Nick stood at the end of the dock looking out over the water, he realized he was getting rather warm. So he decided to take off his sweatshirt and as he pulled it over his head he felt his gold ring slip off of his finger and watched as it dropped into the water. This was a very special ring, given to him by his grandfather and he immediately felt his heart sink! What was he to do? How could he retrieve his special ring?
A couple of months passed as Nick tried to think of different ways to get his lost ring back. He finally came across theringfinders.com web site and saw that someone could help him and that I was located close by. After calling me and explaining what happened we met at the dock and Nick showed me exactly where the ring fell into the water. It was over 10 feet deep so I suited up and dove in. Right at 10 feet the bottom of the lake had a soft, silky, muddy like texture. As I reached my arm down into the soft silt and mud, my hand was not able to touch the actual bottom of the lake. I used my Garrett pro pointer to find a few targets in the mud but only came up with a handful of nails, screws and a few pieces of aluminum foil. So I figured there had to be another way to retrieve Nick’s lost ring. Two weeks later I tried out a new method for finding rings in the water. I had made up a basket and covered it with half inch hardware cloth and then fixed it to a 16 foot metal pole. My first attempt at dragging the sifter thru the mud and silt lasted 5 hours and still no ring. On Dec. 31st I searched again for only an hour and was asked to leave the dock so the city could set up for fireworks. The next day, Jan. 1st, I went back and after one and a half hours….I could hardly believe my eyes! There in the sifter was Nick’s lost gold ring! I sent Nick a photo and asked him if that was his ring? And as he showed the photo to his family, they all joyously celebrated together! It took 8 hours of hard work to find Nick’s ring and it was so very rewarding and satisfying to finally hand it over to him. Thank you Nick for calling me and for giving me the opportunity to help you recover your lost ring!

Lost ring at High School, Altamonte Springs, Fl……Found!

Christopher called and asked if I could help him find a very special ring that was lost at his high school football field. He explained in detail that a friend had asked him to hold this ring (a wide black tungsten carbide ring with the « Lord’s Prayer » written in very small print, around the outside of the ring) and not to loose it as it was a gift given as a promise ring from the friend’s parents. While Christopher was holding the ring, another friend asked to look at the ring and check it out. At first Christopher hesitated but finally gave in and let the boy look at the ring. Later Christopher asked for the ring back and it was thrown to him from a distance, instead of simply having it handed to him. As he went to catch the ring it glanced off of his hand and went rolling across the track and into a grassy area under a chain link fence. Christopher desperately tried to find the ring but as the class ended he had to go. Later he came back and looked some more and that led him to the internet. He found my number on theringfinders.com website and told me what happened.
I attained the proper permission and met Christopher later that afternoon on the football field. He showed me where he was standing and approximately where the ring went rolling. I tried using my metal detector along the fence but the wire caused allot of interference, so I opted to use my Garrett AT Pro pointer. On hands and knees I made my way along the bottom of the fence and sure enough, 10 minutes into the search I got a good signal and as I parted the grass, there was Christopher’s friends ring!

Lost Diamond Platinum engagement ring found in Norridge, Il

Got a call this morning telling me a engagement ring given 50yrs ago was lost in a yard, but it was lost in June. This was a concern knowing now it would not be a surface find anymore but have to give it a shot, I planned on being there most of the morning.

I was quite surprised when my very first signal was about 2 inches deep and pulled out this beautiful platinum wedding ring, not to mention how surprised the husband was.

He walked away crying when I showed it to him.

This is what makes this job fantastic!!!
