I got a call to find a 24 Karat 44 gm gold nugget. It was used in a contest . The contest was to find the gold nugget in any of the 6 .. 1 ton burlap bags of dirt. Unfortunately the client couldn’t find the nugget in the 1 ton burlap bag they knew it to be in after no contestants could find it . So I went to the commercial location where the nugget was at and attempted to find it with my metal detector. but the nails in the pallet interfered and also the writing on the bags interfered. So the client had to take it to a different site so we could dump all the dirt out. once we could dump the dirt out it was found very quickly
This recovery started when i got the text from Melissa about her lost diamond wedding rings in Ala Moana Waikiki area. She lost them the daybefore and so i gathered my gear and I was able to head out and look the very next morning on a very well known and hunted beach. I had my fair share of concerns but needed to give a thorough search regardless. As i was searching the area in which Melissa gave I started to take notice that i looked in the area and nothing but loose change and bottle caps. So i decided to open up the search area because I’ve been looking for 2 hours and no rings. About a half hour in the search i get a great tone and there in the xtreme scoop is 1 of the 2 missing rings. I then start a circle grid which i started to overlap my previous grid and i get another good tone but very faint. i dug a good 5-6 inches before lo and behold there in the bottom of my scoop is Melissas 2nd ring. I was so happy i ran to my belongings on the beach and noticed that my phone had no battery life. As i’m standing there happy I could hear a voice that said » Did you find it »? It was the life guard who i talked to earlier about these lost now found rings. His reaction was priceless… NO WAY! With a loud voice. We talked for a little while and then I left the beach with a grateful heart because I know I’ll get to return these beauties. What was thought to be a Gone forever changed! I charged my phone and later that evening my family met up with Melissa and we returned the wedding rings. Happy to help and return these beauties! Another successful recovery.
Biggest thing is to contact me as soon as possible because it increases the chances of me finding and returning your lost rings.

Received a call from Jordan on December 21st, 2019. Jordan was in the process of proposing to his girlfriend on Sunset Beach in Cape May when the engagement ring evidently fell out of the box unbeknownst to him. After gathering a few details from Jordan, we setup a time to meet and I headed over to Sunset Beach. I arrived before Jordan and his father so I decided to take a walk down to see if I could figure out where they may have been. Sure enough the tell tale signs were there so I began searching where I believed they may have been. After a brief 10 minute search I had the ring in my scoop! I went back to the parking lot and awaited Jordans arrival. He and his father were in total shock and disbelief that I had already recovered the ring before they arrived. After reuniting Jordan with the ring his father explained how much of a roller coaster of emotions the day had been. All recoveries are emotional for the clients, for many different reasons, and no two are ever the same, but sometimes there are the ones that really make providing this service warm your heart. This is one of them. I attached the reuniting video but it is a bit dark.

You came out on a cold Saturday night and before we even got there, you had the ring, again, thank you…I cannot say it enough!
As a father, knowing what Jordan went through to get to this point and then seeing the video of him on his knee proposing and then his reaction realizing that the ring had fallen out and disappeared into the sand, it brought tears to my eyes for him.
You, the helpful people on the beach, the staff at the Sunset Beach Gift shop, my son’s fiance and her two beautiful children, my wife, all turned an emotional roller coaster of a night into one of the most positive and memorable evenings of our lives.

I got a call to find two wedding rings that were lost behind the pool at a house located in boynton Beach Florida. I searched for about one hour and finally came upon one of the rings with a little help from my clients on the location. And shortly thereafter found the other.
Naomi was at a local park and lost a family heirloom earring. There were a couple of areas where she had been, including where she was playing with some dogs on the ground. On arrival, we met and she explained the situation and showed me the two areas, both of which are on a baseball field. Unfortunately, there was some guys playing ball on the field, so, one of the areas over by the left field foul line was busy. The other area was deep in right field and not too close to where they were playing, so, that’s where I started. Naomi had the mate to the lost earring, so, I was able to use it to give me a sound and I.D. number to go by. Wow, that little thing didn’t give much of a signal, in fact, in a couple of modes, it didn’t register at all! The best signal I could get was in the Gold prospecting mode, where I got a fairly solid 1 on my machine. I started swinging over the grass and found there were so many signals that I had to eliminate all the other numbers except 1 and 2 or I would be there for days! I made a couple of quick passes where she thought she had walked hoping to get a quick recovery. No dice, so, out came the cones and I started to do a complete grid while she walked over to see how long they would be in the other area. As it turned out, they were just about done, but, that was unnecessary. I decided to complete my grid and on the second pass, the weak little sound on my Equinox that I was hoping for, alerted me to the earring sitting there in plain sight. In a flash, Grandma’s earring was back on Naomi’s ear where it belongs. A pleasure to met you Naomi, and thank you for the reward.
While I was metal detecting Miami Beach , Fl I was approached by a group of people who asked me to find wedding 2 rings lost in the dry sand. I followed them to a area about 7 x 7 feet . At first I didn’t get any targets . But after searching for quite a while I heard a faint signal and found one ring. after that I still wasn’t hearing any targets. I kept going and I eventually fond the other ring. They were very thankful.
While at work in early November 2019 Tom contacted me regarding a lost heavy tungsten wedding band. He told me that he was 100% positive that it slipped off his finger while landscaping the front yard of his office. Prior to contacting me he had spent several hours removing all the shrubs he planted and digging through mulch and dirt looking for the ring. Amazingly, he also shared that he rented a metal detector and attempted to scan the area himself. When I met with him I shared with him the fact that despite of hearing of countless times of people renting metal detectors to search on their own…it is rarely productive. Usually the machines you rent are not sophisticated enough to find the lost item and more importantly the experience of the operator in these searches far exceeds the machine itself.
When I met Tom i first did what I always do…show him my equipment and demonstrate how it works. I want him to be 100% confident that if his ring is there I’m going to find it. And find it I did…in 2 minutes! Tom was amazed and extremely happy I was able to return his ring to him…he later texted me that his wife was even happier!
Platinum wedding band lost at Deerfield Beach Florida… found..
I got a call from a man on Saturday morning. He lost a Platinum wedding band . I rushed to go meet him at deerfield beach after searching for hours I was able to recover it ..He was so happy to receive his wedding band back.
While at work on Wednesday I received a call from Krissy regarding a lost diamond engagement ring. Krissy communicated to me that several days earlier she was at a playground in New Castle, DE and while playing with her 2 year old her ring slipped off her finger. She was very upset and very convinced that the ring fell off in a very specific part of the playground and slipped beneath the rubber mulch. Prior to calling me, she and her husband and several others had spent quite a bit of time on hands and knees looking for the lost ring. I told Krissy I would meet her at the playground on Friday afternoon.
We met at 3 pm, Friday afternoon at the playground. After introductions I did what I always do when I meet people who have asked for my help…I show them how all my equipment works. I do this for 2 reasons…1) I want them to feel confident that if the ring is there I’m going to find it and 2) If I cover the entire area in my search they can be 100% confident that it must be somewhere else!
We walked around the playground and she pointed to the specific area that she was horsing around the most with her 2 year old. My intent was to start there and basically cover the entire playgrou nd if I had to. I didn’t have to!!! About 3 minutes into the search I heard a sweet low tone in my headphones…my pinpointer immediately identified her ring about 3 inches deep in the rubber mulch. I said Krissy….and pointed. The emotion of seeing her ring got the best of her for a second and then it was just pure joy for both of us. This job as a Ringfinder is so much funner when you’re successful in finding the lost item and Krissy’s joy made my day!!!
Michael was out on the beach at Mission Bay in front of his apartment when, while waving to someone, his loose fitting wedding ring flew off into the sand. A search by sifting through the sand proved fruitless, so, an online search was in order where he found The Ring Finders website. When I turned on my phone in the morning, I noticed the text and contacted Michael. We made plans for a 10am meet and search. After arriving, meeting Michael and his lovely wife, we went to the site while talking and getting the ring loss story on the way. The search area was fairly large, but, not ridiculous. All dry sand and maybe 30 X 100 feet or so. I started at one end and after 3-4 passes, several coins, and a dog tag later, his gold wedding band came to light. All smiles on the happy couple now and thank you for the reward.
