Lost Ring or Jewelry Recovery Service in Emerald Isle Area

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)
Contact:

CHThe overwhelming satisfaction with returning a cherished lost item to someone is something everyone should experience at least once in their life.  For me the thrill of enjoying my hobby, getting a little exercise and helping strangers at the same time is very fulfilling!  Once I find their item, it is as if we were long lost friends as they are so grateful and relieved at the same time.

…for these reasons, I have joined The Ring Finders.

During the Summer of 2012 I was down from Ohio helping my lady friend take care of her terminally ill father.  We would spend time on the beaches of Emerald Isle, NC to destress.  One particular day I was bored just sitting in the sand and noticed a man wading in shallow water with his metal detector.  I immediately knew this was something I would enjoy.  After our talk, I shortly afterwards ordered my first land/water detector.  The Tesoro Sand Shark is a great machine for beach & water but I soon found out a lot of public used land contains numerous metal items and the Sand Shark will make me dig all of them.  Last Summer I purchased one of the best detectors on the market and it works very well on sand and dry land.  Now I have all areas covered to 4 foot of water!  1st CTX ring

Please give me a call as soon as possible anytime of anyday so I can hopefully help you find your lost item!  Why not take a chance that an event that you may remember the rest of your life has a very happy ending?

I look forward to granting your wishes!

Lost ring in Jenison, Michigan is recovered

  • from Manistee (Michigan, United States)
Contact:

A friend of mine, Stephanie F., messaged me on Facebook that a friend of hers lost a ring in her yard 1 year ago. After giving me her name and number to me I gave Nora a call. The next day Dave B. and myself made a quick trip over to her house. After the introductions and meeting her dogs and getting the story as to how she lost the ring we started the search.

Nora said that last year Nora in a fit of anger threw the white gold diamond ring off her deck. Nora is about 5’5″ with a small frame but must have an arm like a pitcher. She threw the ring about 50 feet off the deck. She said she threw it towards the tree in her yard but I found it 20 feet beyond the tree and about 20 feet to the right of the tree. I guess when your mad you don’t know how far and what direction you throw things.

Nora and her husband made up and like the story goes lived happily ever after.

Lost Wedding Band in Baton Rouge, LA. – Found

Sid got a call from Yvette two days after her husband lost his platinum wedding band in their back yard. He was shaking pool water off his hands when more than water flew off. The search area was small but the ring could not be located by their visual search nor with a borrowed detector. Sid and Carrie arrived at the search area the next day. Both detectors (Garrett Ace 350 and AT Pro) went wild with interference. Not from power lines, from underground wires in the search area. Down on our hands and knees with pin pointers. Sid hunted the holly bushes and found the ring under leaves at the base of those bushes. Total search time, 20 minutes. Another smiling face (actually, three smiling faces) and we were on our way home. Thank you Yvette for the generous reward. This helps keep these search services available.

Class Ring Lost at Santa Monica Beach, CA…Found.

Amy called me yesterday evening wondering if I could help her find her ring at the beach. When she explained she had just lost it about an hour before, I told her I would get there as soon as possible if she was willing to wait for me. The main reason for going immediately, is because time is the enemy in finding lost items at the beach. I got my equipment together, and was on my way.

When I got to the area Amy met me and took me to the spot she felt the ring came off of her hand. It was a ring that she had received two years earlier for her graduation. She explained that she had flicked her hand in a downward fashion, and the ring just flew off into the sand. She was right at the top of the slope down to the beach. The sand was soft, and would have swallowed the ring instantly. I got to work, and began my grid, making sure to overlap each pass, so that every inch of the sand was covered. I went down the slope, and came back up when I heard what I wanted to hear, a nice solid low tone. I put in my scoop, and brought out this beautiful golden class ring with a ruby red stone, and diamonds flanking the stone. I reached in and grabbed it blowing the sand off of it as I raised it to show Amy. She and her friends got very excited to see it found. I just love to see the joy that is produced by finding something precious to people that they thought was lost forever. What a great smile to see. Another wonderful day.

If you lose your ring or other metal item of value, call as soon as possible. I will work hard to help you find what you thought might never be found again. I search,  Beverly Hills, Hermosa Beach, Huntington Beach, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Malibu, Manhattan Beach, Newport Beach, Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Santa Monica, Seal Beach, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Torrance, Venice Beach, and all parks, yards, gardens, and ponds (to 5 foot depths) in all of Orange County, all of Los Angeles County, and Ventura County.

Ring lost at Mission Bay found

  • from La Jolla (California, United States)
Contact:

After returning from a trip out of state, I received a call the next morning from a distraught Mary who had lost both her wedding and engagement rings at either Mission Bay or Mission Beach. She had removed her rings and put them in a pocket for safe keeping while at the beach with her family. After several hours and a couple of different locations, she discovered they were missing from her pocket. They searched and even rented a metal detector, but, failed to find them. They talked with a kind woman that lived close by to where they were staying, who went online for help. TheRingFinders.com was recommended and they called me. I met Mary’s husband Conor at the beach by where they had rented a house for the week. They were on holiday from Ireland with their children and were supposed to leave that day, but, extended their stay hoping to find the rings before they had to leave. Conor took Mary and the kids to Sea World and then came to show me the search locations. They spent most of their time on the bay side beach, but, also had a short trek over to the ocean beach where Mary had to scale a sea wall…..another likely spot for those rings to jump out of a pocket. I started my search where they were sitting on the bay side beach while Conor went to the store and ATM. He hadn’t been gone for 2 minutes when I got a couple of great gold sounds a few inches apart right about where they had placed their beach chairs. Sure enough, the first target was the wedding band with the engagement ring a second later. It could have been a long afternoon as the search area just on this side was about the size of half a football field, and after two days had passed, it could have already been found by someone else. We got lucky this day.

When Conor returned, he saw me still detecting and figured I still hadn’t found them. I was actually just killing time until he returned. I pulled out the rings and asked if they looked familiar? He was initially dumbfounded and speechless, but, finally found his voice and thanked me profusely. The neighbor lady (sorry I didn’t get her name) saw us from her balcony and asked if we had any luck. Conor held the rings up and everyone cheered. Mary then called to check on the progress. Conor was going keep it a secret and surprise her by presenting her with the rings and a reproposal on bended knee at Sea World, but, then thought the better of it and told her they had been found. I could tell by her response that she was also overcome with emotion and had trouble getting the words out.  A pleasure to meet you Conor and with talking to Mary. Hope you both have had a great stay in San Diego and a now more pleasant trip back home. Thank you very much for the reward. If helps keep this service going.

Lost ring at Mission Bay found

  • from La Jolla (California, United States)
Contact:

My wife and I were packing our car for a short trip out of state, when I received a call for help finding a class ring at Mission Bay. Sahba was playing a game with her husband and a group of friends two days previous, when her ring came off and disappeared into the sand at De Anza Cove beach.  They all searched on their hands and knees and even using a sifter, but, without success. We met them on our way out of town and hoped for an easy return. It wasn’t all that easy, even though they knew the exact area and it wasn’t all that big. LOTS of iron and other junk made it a slow process. After gridding and cross-gridding, it finally came to light. A pleasure to meet you two and thank you for the reward.

Ring lost in Bonita found

  • from La Jolla (California, United States)
Contact:

John called me hoping that I could find his lost wedding ring. He was heading out to Brazil to met his wife in a couple of days and didn’t want to have to explain why he wasn’t wearing his wedding ring. He had been playing with his son at a local park and while reaching up high to catch a soccer ball kicked by his son, the ball smacked his hand and popped the ring off and into the grass. He searched for some time without success before he gave me a call. We met at the park and he showed me the search area and demonstrated what happened. I started a grid and expanded the area as the ring was being elusive. I then changed my search direction 90 degrees and after a few passes, I got the sound I was looking for. I looked down and it was in plain site! Hard to believe we both missed it visually, but, the grass it was in was a bit brown which camouflaged a yellow gold ring to the casual naked eye. John can now make his trip without worry. Great meeting you John and thank you for the reward.

Ring Lost in the Sand .. Santa Monica, CA. .. Found and Returned

Dave sent me an email late Monday afternoon. I received it on my iphone and was able to contact him using the phone number he provided. He told me about the loss of his wedding ring on the beach in front of Annenberg Community Center which is a couple miles north of the Santa Monica Pier.
He said he had placed his ring in the pocket of his pants, leaving them on the dry sand while he went swimming. After the swim, he put his pants on and walked a couple hundred yards to his car in the parking lot. That was when he realized his ring was missing. He and his friends went back to search for the ring, but couldn’t find it.
I asked Dave if he could meet me at the location. He was across town visiting friends, making it difficult to meet me. After he told me the general area of the loss, I felt I could find the location to search without Dave. We didn’t know for sure that the ring was lost there as he had walked quite a distance across the sand before realizing the loss.
Just as the sun was setting an hour and a half after talking to Dave, I arrived at the beach parking. Walking straight to the lifeguard tower, I set up a grid search over the towel line just south of the tower. The stainless steel ring was found after about 20 minutes. It’s always a concern for me that the beach grooming machines can drag or pickup valuables if we don’t get to the location in a timely manner. Here,  at our beaches the beach cleaning machines always hit the first 30 feet of the towel line almost everyday.
Dave was able to meet me so I could return the ring. You can see he was happy by his smile on the photo I took after handing him his ring. It was a pleasure to meet him and return his special ring..
