Lost Diamond Gold Ring Found After Being Lost for 2 Years in Ogden, Utah

I received a call from Lou regarding his lost ring in Ogden Utah. He explained that he had been working in the yard and at some point the ring came off his finger. They tried searching through the weeds he was pulling and even got a metal detector to help with the search. It was a gold ring with 3 diamonds through the middle and he referred to it as his « old friend » since it had been with him for 23 years. He also told me that he had lost it two years ago and was looking to replace it but wanted to give it one last attempt.

When I arrived at his house, he showed me the area he had been pulling weeds and since it was along the side of the house, I knew there would be a fair amount of interference. I used my smaller coil and started to grid off the area. After a couple pieces of trash, I got a very clean signal close to the surface about 6 feet from where Lou was working. I brushed some dirt back and sure enough, it was his ring! The search took about 15 minutes. After 2 years of being lost, Lou has is « old friend » back!!! So happy Lou gave me a call.

Lost Gold Wedding Band Found Longport NJ by Ring Finders South Jersey John Favano

  • from North Wildwood (New Jersey, United States)

I received a message from Marisa on my Ring Finders South Jersey Facebook page about her antique wedding band that was lost yesterday.  She was standing in the surf in Longport, NJ when a wave came in and caused the ring to slide off her finger.  She saw it drop into the ocean and thought she would never see it again. Ironically, she happened to see the news segment earlier in the day about a lost wedding band that I found and reached out to me. I went out at sunrise to catch low tide since it was lost in the surf.  After roughly 35 minutes of gridding the surf and wet sand, I was able to find it!

May 2022 Ilandra called me seeking help for a lost diamond wedding ring in her home. She clearly tells me the situation of where she last had her ring. Just a few days prior she was cooking dinner over her stove when some food got on to her ring. She remembers washing her ring off in her kitchen sink then drying it with a kitchen towel that was hanging from her oven door. She recalls clutching her ring in her hand as she went up the stairs to her bedroom to prepare for an evening shower. Just a few minutes after having left the kitchen she had gathered a pajama top from her bedroom closet, placed some close on her bathroom counter and realized her precious diamond wedding ring was no where to be found! She has a common habit of leaving her wedding ring on the bathroom counter while bathing and expected the ring to be there but it was not. She asked her husband who had been with her all evening and he clearly remembered having last seen her washing it off in the kitchen. What seem to have taken place in an instant turned into a huge all night search with the couple turning their house upside down looking for her ring yet no ring was to be found. After hearing this story I asked several clarifying questions as my basic line of investigation. The odd thing was this was a basic routine end of day evening for them. There was no drinking, no stress, no drama, no third parties had been in the home, no cats or dogs. I learned she has a young son but he had been sleeping the whole time this incident took place. She explained she was at a total loss of where or what could have happened to her ring and after having found me online she was desperate and needed some help.

With all these details I reassured her if the ring was still on the property I would do all I could to assist her with an in home search. I explained with all of my special tools, processes and experience we needed to act quickly and to treat this in home search as a priority. She agreed with me as we set a schedule to meet just a few days later. I also took that opportunity to stress the point from my past experience they needed to save all the house hold garbage and to set it aside in a safe quarantine zone. She confirmed that they still had all of the trash and had done some looking through it already but agreed and fully understood the importance in securing all the house hold garbage.  As I tell many people in this situation we just don’t know if its in the trash, the laundry, under an appliance, hiding in a cabinet or container. At the very least allow me to search your house hold garbage before releasing it to the curb regardless of how much you may have poked through it yourself.

When it comes to in home searches each case is unique and of its own but there is common areas we tend to focus on a first priority to search based on our years of experience. With human nature certain actions and activities causing lost jewelry tend to stand out to us as Lost Item Recovery Specialist so please allow us an opportunity to do all we can to assist you in your lost item situation.

Lost Diamond Anniversary Ring Given by Deceased Husband Who Died of COVID-19 Six Months Earlier…Found in Rockville, Maryland

  • from Washington (District of Columbia, United States)

Pam’s 18 karat yellow gold and multiple diamond mesh-style anniversary ring which member of THE RING FINDERS Brian Rudolph successfully recovered!

Pam with her elegant and beautiful anniversary ring that her late husband Leo gave to her as an anniversary gift many years earlier.

Brian Rudolph, Lost Item Recovery Specialist (Land, Water, Sand, Snow, Leaves, Cliffs, Houses & Vehicles) Will Find Your Lost Keepsake! Call ASAP (301) 466-8644!

Pam was crying on the other end of the phone with me when she called for help. Her elegant 18 karat yellow gold and multiple diamond mesh-style anniversary ring went missing after the Rockville, Maryland resident had spent a few hours that day doing some outdoor weeding and leaf collecting.

Pam was absolutely devastated. This irreplaceable sentimental keepsake was given to her by her late husband Leo who had just passed away six months earlier due to COVID-19. The woman had been suffering enough pain with the loss of her beloved spouse and then this unfortunate situation occurred. It was more than Pam could bear!

When I received Pam’s distress call for help, I was at another search. Because of her emotional state, I called her frequently to give my future client updates as to how long I might be before getting to her property. She really appreciated the extra effort that I went to in order to bring reassurance to Pam that she would not be forgotten that night.

When I arrived at my client’s Rockville, Maryland property later in the evening, Pam immediately showed me where she had been raking and bagging up leaves along with a couple of other spots where she had been weeding and dumping the cuttings into additional lawn and leaf paper biodegradable brown bags.

Once I got my metal detecting gear from my car, I powered up the equipment and began searching for the lost ring. First, I metal detected parts of the lawn where the weeds were pulled from the ground. Nothing registered on my machine in those areas. Then, I took one of the brown paper biodegradable recyclable bags that had lots of trimmings and weeds tucked inside of it and laid it on its side along the ground near the curb. I swung my metal detector coil over the bag and no metal could be detected. I then rolled the paper receptacle on its other end and once again scanned its contents. This time however I immediately got a signal!

Slowly and carefully I began to take some of the contents out of the brown container until my metal detector hit the same target signal that I had previously encountered. Within a quick minute or so I pinpointed the object that I had been hunting all along. Below a few weeds I found what I had been searching for!!!! There it was! I recovered it! The object was indeed Pam’s beautiful and most elegant yellow gold mesh-style ring that consisted of diamonds set around the equator of that very special anniversary jewel!

Pam was right beside me when I identified her irreplaceable keepsake that Leo, the love of her life, had given to her so many years earlier! She began to cry with tears of joy and with much relief in her heart when I handed her the ring. During all of those hours of waiting for me to arrive, Pam felt like another part of Leo had been stripped away from her. Thankfully, at that moment, she was then reunited with that very special gift that Leo had given her so very long ago. Yes, the memories in that treasure piece would forever be preserved now that I had recovered the ring from what would have been picked up by the recycler truck the following day! I was greatly satisfied that night to be able to help turn tears of distress into tears of happiness!

Lost 10th Year Wedding Anniversary Ring After Watermelon Rind Throw…Found in Middle River, Maryland

  • from Washington (District of Columbia, United States)

Metal detectorist and member of THE RING FINDERS, Brian Rudolph, found this lovely 10 karat white gold 10th year wedding anniversary diamond ring for Stephanie after throwing a watermelon rind.

Stephanie and Mike excitedly show off their smiles and Stephanie’s beautiful 10 karat white gold 10th year wedding anniversary diamond ring recovered by ring finder Brian Rudolph.

Brian Rudolph, Lost Item Recovery Specialist (Land, Water, Sand, Snow, Leaves, Cliffs, Houses & Vehicles) Will Find Your Lost Keepsake! Call ASAP (301) 466-8644!

I received a call from Stephanie who was simply heartbroken about the loss of her 10 karat white gold 10th year wedding anniversary diamond ring. She was throwing watermelon rinds off of her second story deck out towards the back of her property when her precious keepsake flew off of her finger. The watermelon leftovers mostly landed on the other side of the fence where a water runoff is located. That section is considered common land and anyone can walk back there.

Stephanie immediately went out looking for her sentimental keepsake and no matter how much she searched, there was no ring to be found. She spent hours out there with tears in her eyes hoping to spot the diamond filled piece of precious metal. Yet, all of her valiant efforts still led to no avail.

When the poor young lady wasn’t able to find the anniversary ring, her husband Mike went out with a metal detector that he bought that day and he too could not « pull the rabbit out of the hat ». That’s when Stephanie looked online and found the elite international metal detectorist directory founded by CEO Chris Turner called THE RING FINDERS. She looked up the local ring finders in her area and my name popped up.

It was such a joy talking with Stephanie over the phone and getting the entire account of what happened to her beautiful 10 karat white gold diamond ring. I told her that I couldn’t wait to get over to the property and help recover the lost piece of jewelry for the couple.

Later that evening, I arrived at Stephanie’s Middle River, Maryland house to conduct the search. The young woman reenacted exactly what happened and Mike shared where he metal detected on both sides of the fence. First, I laid grid lanes down on the back lawn and metal detected their entire backyard. Though Stephanie thought that she saw the ring fly towards the fence, I wanted to metal detect the easiest portion of the property before having to deal with the metal fence and the high grass that was on the other side of the chain link divider.

When I could not find the ring on the lawn, I packed up all of my gear and went to the other side of the fence and began searching all around that area. I found multiple pieces of watermelon rinds and I kept my scanning in that particular vicinity. It was a mess back there but I diligently detected every square inch that I could with all of the weeds and high grass that made life extremely difficult for me.

My last leg of the search had to do with switching my metal detector coil down to a smaller size coil In order for me to detect closer along the fence line. At that point in my investigation, I concluded that Stephanie must have been accurate in her remembrance that she thought she saw the ring go through the fence or over the fence. Since I couldn’t find the piece of jewelry anywhere else, I was pretty certain that I would find the ring somewhere close up against the chain link fence area.

As it turned out, I did in fact find Stephanie’s gorgeous 10 karat white gold diamond ring right up against the bottom of the chain link fence on the common property side of the divider. No one would have been able to find the MIA jewel unless they used a couple of detectors and special techniques to find « separation » between the metal fence and where the ring was buried below the grass line. I was so excited that I zeroed in on the right signal that I had been looking for all along! When my eyes beheld that beautiful piece of gold that had endless diamonds encrusted all around its lovely shell, my happiness for Stephanie could not be contained!

Stephanie and Mike were beyond elated with the news that I was able to recover the 10th wedding anniversary treasure! Just like when Stephanie expressed her emotions on the phone earlier that day, she once again broke down in tears of joy with so much gratitude in her heart for what I was able to accomplish for the couple that evening! It was all well worth the trip to Middle River, Maryland to rescue that irreplaceable keepsake! Especially after seeing the two brilliant smiles of my clients once again appear upon their countenances!

Lost Ring from Guatemala Found in Lehi, Utah

I received a call from my longtime childhood friend regarding his son and a ring he had just purchased while on a humanitarian trip to Guatemala. The whole family spent a week doing service project in villages and cities across Guatemala! What an experience!!! His oldest boy purchased a ring from a local shop to remember his special experience but shortly after returning to Utah, He lost it while having a water balloon fight in the backyard. Owen was devastated about losing the ring and I wanted to make sure to get it back to him. It took about 15 minutes to find the ring after gridding off the area in question. I think his smile tells the story of how excited he was to see his ring again!

Wedding Band Lost in Stone Harbor Canal Found Stone Harbor NJ by RING FINDERS SOUTH JERSEY JOHN FAVANO

  • from North Wildwood (New Jersey, United States)

Lost a ring?

Don’t  wait to call?

215-850-0188

LG gave me a call Saturday night about his lost wedding band in Stone Harbor, NJ. He was playing with his 3-year-old daughter in the water and she accidentally pulled it off of his finger. The challenge was that it was lost in the mud of the Stone Harbor Canal. It was nearly impossible to get out to the area since you sink around 2 feet down in the mud when trying to walk. I used the lucky duck float to maneuver out over the mud to the spot it could have dropped. I was able to lie down on the duck and swing the detector out in front of me. Once I got the signal, I was able to reach under the coil and dig it out. It was buried approximately 10 inches down. I pulled up the gold and platinum wedding band and showed it to LG. It just happened to be the 7 year anniversary of his engagement that it was returned.
