Lost Diamond Wedding Rings In Home Recovery Bellevue WA

Two days after Thanksgiving I was called out to Belleview for an in home search of a lost 4.5 carat diamond wedding ring set.  From our over the phone interview I had very strong belief that the rings were still on the property and we had a very strong chance of recovery. Even though my primary focus is recovery via metal detection typically in outside environments I agreed to drop by to help assist in this in home search effort.

Ashley had already confirmed from her in home security video she had the rings on when she came home Thanksgiving evening. She clearly remembered taking them off specifically to put some hand lotion on while sitting in her front living room and the next morning the rings had simply disappeared no where to be found! Once again our dreaded hand lotion scenario has caused a pair of rings to go missing… 

She also confirmed no one but her family had been in the home since the loss. We had a few ideas that stated to develop as I continued to ask a lot of questions through my investigative process gaining clarity of the events that took place.

She wasn’t quite sure if she put the rings in an empty ziplock package from her bathroom for safe keeping, in her robe pocket or simply on their coffee table. Fortunately they saved all the household garbage in case the rings some how got tossed away. She also told me the next morning with the same robe on she bent over out the from door to pickup up a package from the porch when her phone fell out of her pocket crashing to the floor. It was certainly possibly the rings could have fallen out as well and landed under the shrubs outside.

I also ask her about her four year old daughter if she had ever shown any attention towards mommies rings. She side her girl has but had not ever run off with them before. I still keep this as a very likely possibility in mind.

Lost Men’s Gold Wedding Band Recovered in Sunny Isles Beach, FL

I was on my way to the grocery store when I received a call from Jerrica – her husband had just lost his gold wedding band in the Atlantic Ocean off of Sunny Isles Beach, FL. I did a quick U-turn for home, changed into my water detecting outfit and grabbed my CTX 3030.

They made a smart move by coming to the Ring Finders website and finding me so quickly. Because they stayed put and were patient, they were able to accurately point me toward the water right where they believed the ring came off. They were able to describe it and remembered feeling it come loose in the water.

I expected a long hunt because it is a very popular stretch of beach in Sunny Isles Beach, FL – lots of tourists and a fair amount of aluminum trash too. But to my surprise (and theirs), the ring popped up in my first target signal.

I loved seeing the excitement from them and their friends who were shocked at how quickly it was found. All because they had the patience and quick thinking to call right away!

Eagle Harbor Bainbridge WA Underwater Wedding Ring Recovery

Teresa called me asking for my help in recovering her lost gold diamond wedding ring of twenty-seven years. She told me the story that started several month prior. Teresa and her husband has just returned from a sailing voyage and on this day they were having a relaxing party on their boat as it was docked in their Eagle Harbor slip. Teresa remembers she was fidgeting with her ring finger and some how she managed to shoot the ring off her finger, it flew threw her hair, over the sail boat railing and down into the water below. Her husband witness the whole event and confirmed that the ring was in fact resting in the bottom of the Puget Sound waters.

After this the couple hired a young local diver that had been doing some underwater boat work but he had no success. Teresa’s husband a former dive instructor took a turn and could not locate the ring. They then called upon an old friend a professional diver that brought along a metal detector. He came up with a bucket full of trash but no diamond ring. Teresa’s husband took another dive with the metal detector and still no ring was found. At this point everyone was felling rather hopeless it wold ever be recoverd.

One of Teresa’s coworkers suggested in a joking manner why not get a replacement ring since your old you soon won’t remember the difference anyway.

After thinking if over Teresa went to a jewelry store that was having a going out of business sales event. She explained her story as she picked out a replacement ring from a catalog. Where her special order arrived after she paid for the ring she had immediate buyers remouse and graciously the jeweler refunded her money and took the ring back. However he did look her straight in the eyes and said you will never get that old ring back.

At this pint Teressa wad determined to find a way to get her diamond wedding ring recovered. She remembered hearing something about TheRingFinders and thankfully she did!

Lost White Gold Wedding ring lost in CDA Idaho, Was Found!!

The same choices made everyday are often the same choices made right before one might lose their ring. Likewise for Jamie, when her husband had come home she brought out her two wound up dogs for their moonlight walk. The air’s cool grip clung on tight that night but never the less when the walk was finished the dogs, Jamie’s husband and Jamie all had fun playing around in the pile of leaves. The playing in the leaves came to a close and the family retired back into the house. Upon a quick glance and with a rapid heart beat « my ring is missing » slipped out of Jamie’s mouth. The search was on. Flashlights and retraced steps left both Jamie and her husband at a loss. The next morning the dogs where lethargic with Jamie’s sadness. The only thing Jamie could possibly do was surfed the web for answers. The Knot, a wedding website, told her to call The Ring Finders. So Jamie sent me a frantic text, « I lost my ring are you still available? » I quickly called her and talked about the unfortunate night she had been through and then made arrangements to meet her after work. I knew that the ring could be anywhere in the leaves, on the path they took, in the yard, or on someone else’s hand. Hopeful I took off on my search. A quick pass in the pile of leaves, a stroll through the yard and back in the pile of leaves lead me straight to her ring. With a bit of confidence I looked over my shoulder at Jamie walking beside me and gave her a smile.  » If this signal isn’t your ring I’ll be surprised, »I said. I bent down and slowly pulled back the pile of leaves and revealed Jamie’s lost ring. Engagement ring found in Waycross,GA

I received a text from Hayden asking if I was the one who helped people find rings.   I called her back and told her I was and asked her details of where she was when she lost it.   I was already headed that way and told her and her husband I would be there in 10 minutes.

She had handed her husband the rings  in the parking lot of a  doctors office while she put on lotion.   Their young daughter took off running toward the street and he took off after her.   As he did, he slung the rings.   They were able to find the band but not the diamond ring.

I started searching where he was standing.   I knew the ring had to be somewhere in the grass and I should get a good shallow signal.   After about an hour of searching the grass and shrubs, I couldn’t believe I wasn’t finding it.   We all started praying.   The other ring was found on the other side of the driveway on the pavement.   So they suggested I look there.   I searched for a couple of minutes and just didn’t see how it could be over there.   I went back over the original area again.   No luck.   So back to the area where the other ring was found.   I started around a bush of Ivey and got a loud shallow signal.   I took out the pinpointed and moved the Ivey back and there it was.   Thank you Lord!

Ring Lost Off Dock Recovered SCUBA Diving, Goose Bay Marina, Maryland

A wonderful gentleman in law enforcement told me he lost his ring off a boat dock. After an hour and a half drive, my Dive Master (Mrs. Rob) and I arrived at the marina. Like most dock recoveries, the client had a good idea of where he had lost his ring. There was zero visibility and thick mud in about 6 feet of water. Luckily there was very tittle trash. It must have looked easy to the cheering crowd on the dock, as I found the ring in less than 10 minutes!

Lost Wedding Band Found in the leaves

November 26th, 2017 I got a call from Ciaran.  He asked if I could search for his ring in deep leaves. He had a good idea of where he lost it in a field at the beautiful Morven Park International Equestrian Center. I was unable to search until several days later. Due to rush hour traffic, the 40 mile trip took 2 hours. Got to respect Northern Virginia traffic! Once I arrived, I located the ring in about 15 minutes.  It was under several inches of lovely fall leaves. Then 2 hours of driving in rush hour traffic to return home but, this time with a smile on my face after reuniting another ring with its owner:)

Lost Platinum Engagement Ring Found On The Beach At Bethany Beach, Delaware

On 08/23/19, I received a email from Nicole regarding the loss of her Platinum engagement ring on the beach in Bethany Beach, Delaware on 08/20/19. Nicole said that she had placed her ring in her lap while applying sun block and that she stood up and walked towards the ocean to see some dolphins that had been seen out in the ocean. Nicole said that she stood there for about twenty minutes before she realized that her ring was missing. After realizing that her ring was missing, Nicole along with family and friends began to search the sand looking for her ring. Some family members also downloaded a metal detector app to their cellphones in an attempt to find the ring. All of the searching on the day of the loss and also on the day after met with negative results and Nicole left Bethany Beach without her engagement ring. After receiving the email I was able to talk with Nicole on the phone and we went over the the how and where of the loss of her ring. Nicole told me that she remembered that she was sitting in line with a trash can that was on the beach to the north of the beach access. Nicole was concerned about the fact that it had been three days since she had lost her ring and she ask if I thought that the ring was still there on the beach. I told Nicole that it was possible that the ring had been found by someone else with a metal detector, Nicole told me that she still wanted me to look for the ring. I told Nicole that I would not be able to do the search until the following evening and she still wanted me to look for her ring. On 08/24/19, I went to the beach off Central Avenue in Bethany Beach and began the search for Nicoles ring. I started a grid search of the area and after ten minutes and three passes I was able to locate and recover Nicoles ring only a few inches down in the soft sand. I called Nicole and gave her the good news, she was very relieved that her ring had been recovered because she would be getting married during the month of October 2019. On 08/25/19, I met Nicole and her father in Bethany Beach to return her ring to her after the drove to Delaware from their home in the state of Virginia. Congratulations Nicole on your upcoming wedding and thank you for trusting me with the recovery and return of your ring!

Good Morning,
I lost my engagement ring Tuesday afternoon at Bethany beach in front of central boulevard. I was putting sunblock on and felt the lotion in between my ring so I slid it off and placed it on my lap while I smoothed out the lotion on my hands and I got distracted when I heard a little girl say there were dolphins and looked out to see my niece and sister pointing at something in the water so I immediately stood up and walked over to the ocean I must have been standing there for 20 minutes before I realized I didn’t have my ring on my hand. I ran back and searched everywhere I was sitting in the sand and couldn’t find it. After not being able to find it on my own I went back and told my family what happened and we all rushed back and searched everywhere in the near area we could but that minute a storm was coming in and the lifeguards evacuated everyone off the beach so we barely had time to look for it. We tried going back the next day and searching about the area we were but we couldn’t find it and weren’t sure as to the exact area at that point. I live 3 hours away and reported it to the beach patrol and police. My cousin found this website online just recently and I know it’s been 3 days so I’m emailing to see if you think there’s any chance at all it could still be there to go look. I was told people with metal detectors walk around early every morning so I really have lost all hope at this point. I’m also no longer in town but would drive back if there was a chance it was still there

Lost White Gold Wedding Band Found At Gordons Pond State Park Beach in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

On 08/22/19, I received a call from Tory asking for my help in finding her white gold wedding band that had been lost in the sand at Gordons Pond State Park Beach in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Tory said that she had taken her wedding band and engagement ring off her finger and placed them in the pocket of her husbands shirt for safe keeping. Tory said that the shirt was placed on her husbands backpack that was laying on top of the sand and that their 18 month old daughter grabbed the shirt and ran with it. Tory said that both of the rings fell out of the shirt pocket into the sand and that her husband was able to recover her engagement ring and that they were unable to locate the wedding band. After talking with Tory, I drove to the beach to meet her and to start the search for her ring. After being shown the area of the sand where the engagement ring was found I began a grid search and was unable to find the wedding band. Torys husband pointed out a hole in the sand that he and his daughter had dug and he felt that the ring may be in the hole because their daughter had carried his shirt that contained the rings over to the hole. I checked the hole with my metal detector and found that the ring was not in the hole so I then asked Tory and her husband to move all of their beach items from the area where they had been sitting so that I could search the area without interference from the metal beach chairs and the metal shaft of the umbrella. After the items were removed I continued with the search and was able to locate the lost ring just in front of where a beach chair had been sitting and only a few feet from the hole that I had previously searched. The lost ring was then returned to a grateful Tory.

Found: Diamond Ring

On the night of October 19th, 2018, Noelle was walking her dog in an open area near her parent’s home. The dog decided to run and she was pulled off balance. Later, Noelle realized her beautiful diamond ring was missing. Not knowing where she lost the ring, she carefully searched her parent’s house and retraced her steps. When she couldn’t find the ring, she called me.

Noelle did a great job showing me where and how she walked the dog that night. Because it was dark, she could not pin-point exactly where she was when the dog pulled her off her feet. The field is directly under power lines, which can sometimes interfere with metal detectors. After making the proper adjustments to my detector, I searched the area for a couple of hours. I then traced Noelle’s steps back to her parent’s house. I also went through her car. I was not ready to give up. After a business trip, I planned to return with another detectorist and expand my search area,

I happened to be passing through the neighborhood on the way home from another search (gold hoop earring) when I decided to stop and do a quick search. This time I entered the field from the opposite direction. It was getting difficult to see in the dark. While I was walking back to the car I found the ring. It was further away from where Noelle thought she had fallen. There had been enough foot traffic in the area to push the ring into the clay-like soil. Because it was so late, I returned home and called Noelle with the good news. I met with her a few days later to return the ring.
