Mike and his lovely wife Malia looked everywhere for her irreplaceable platinum half-infinity diamond wedding band. They had no idea where it had ended up. Their thought was that it was lost on their front lawn somewhere when they came home from shopping on one particular day.

Mike bought a very expensive metal detector online – a Minelab Equinox 800 detector and searched the grass near their driveway and front walkway. Unfortunately, all of the desperate husband’s efforts led to no avail.

When Mike could not find his wife’s missing ring, he searched online for further assistance. That’s when he found the elite international directory of metal detectorists called THE RING FINDERS. I was then contacted to help with the search for the wedding band.

After talking with Mike and asking him a billion questions as to where the couple could have lost Malia’s wedding band, I discovered that there were several public places that the young lady could have lost the sentimental keepsake. They were stuck on one place – the front lawn. However, once I finished with my on-the-phone interview, I was more convinced than ever that Malia most likely had lost the ring after applying lotion just before exiting their vehicle in a public garage.

Even though it had been almost a week since the disappearance of the platinum ring, guess what was found on the top level of the parking garage’s concrete floor? YES WAY!!!! Malia’s beautiful platinum diamond wedding ring! I couldn’t believe it myself! It was exactly as I had expected! Before the couple had gotten out of the vehicle to go shopping, Malia had taken off the ring and placed it on her lap. She applied lotion to moisturize her hands and then sadly forgot and put the ring back on. The young lady stepped out of the vehicle and that’s when the ring fell from her thigh and ended up on the parking garage’s concrete floor!

Mike and Malia could not stop thanking me for my help in recovering their priceless sentimental keepsake! I was beyond excited to be of assistance and to have solved yet another vehicle ring loss mystery! Mike and I thank the Lord for answering our prayer that we have lifted up to God prior to the awesome discovery! I give Him all glory for helping me assist wonderful couples like Mike and Malia!

Lost Diamond Ring Found in Rehoboth, Delaware.

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

I am here in Ocean City meeting my member Mr. Brian Rudolph to interview and do my doc-u series… »Found It »

I asked him if he had any searches he had not recovered the rings, he said yes, one in Rehoboth Delaware, so we met there to give it a shot.

This was a tough search because it was lost at low tide in waist deep water, if you’ve never detected in the Atlantic ocean you wouldn’t know how difficult it is, being pounded by 2 to 3 foot waves.

This man is relentless, he goes to any length to help someone. Low tide was late afternoon and as he was getting pounded by the surf, I was working the wet sand in amongst people and got very very lucky..I found the ring! Brian was just as happy as I was to see that ring and know that it was going back to its owner. We figured out the surf must’ve pushed it in land more because this was not the area she described it being lost in. I’ve had a lot of fun on my travels meeting amazing members and lucky to have returned 3 rings back to the happy owners on my travels.

Peyton had no idea what happened to her beautiful and irreplaceable yellow gold, 2 carat solitaire diamond family heirloom engagement ring adorned with multiple baguette diamonds wrapped around the center stone along with multiple round shaped diamonds, as well.

I received the phone call from Peyton several days after the ring went missing. She and her husband Oliver searched everywhere in the house as well as out by their deck in the backyard but the sentimental keepsake did not turn up anywhere.

Peyton was concerned that the ring may have gotten lost out on one of two public parking lost while she was shopping. I had asked my client if she applied lotion to her hands while she was in her vehicle at the time that she went out shopping. She replied by sharing that she did in fact apply lotion and took off the ring before she lathered her hands with the lotion. However, she believed that she put the ring back on her finger after she took care of applying the lotion.

I was so happy that this couple found me on the elite international directory of metal detectorists called THE RING FINDERS. Once I got all of the details from the couple, we made plans for me to come out the following evening (two days before Christmas!).

The couple was devastated when the engagement ring (which ones belonged to Oliver’s grandmother) ended up disappearing. The two of them had plans to get married just 4 months later in the month of April. Therefore, this loss was very difficult for not only Peyton and Oliver, but also for Oliver’s mother who passed it down to her son to give to his future wife.

When I arrived at the Washington DC property, the couple took me through the house starting on the first level and then we moved our way up to the second floor. There were quite a few areas where the ring could have gotten lost. And of course, there was the possibility that it made its way out of the house and was lost in a public environment. The last place that I was taken to was the basement where the laundry area was located. I told Peyton and Oliver that there was a chance that the jewel could have ended up in the washing machine or dryer. If we had to, I would check out the coin catcher to see if the ring ended up in the washing machine.

After I was oriented around the house, I told the couple that I would start my « investigation » upstairs in the master bedroom. Though Peyton and Oliver checked every square inch of the room, I felt it was the most viable place to start my search.

The first place I checked was Peyton’s nightstand on the right side of the bed. I checked the drawers and all around the floor near the piece of furniture and everything was clear of the gold and diamond ring.

Next, I took my special equipment used to probe spaces and cracks where the eye cannot see into various spaces and searched areas under the bed mattress. While I was checking the bed frame slots (one at a time), I picked up something on my probe screen that looked like a piece of jewelry. Just as I was moving the head of the instrument into a new position, I heard something fall from within the bed frame and land on the carpet below. I immediately looked in the direction of where the object came to rest on the carpet, and there it was…the most beautiful and huge diamond ring! There were diamonds all over this large piece of yellow gold! I was beyond excited! I couldn’t contain myself! The entire time the engagement ring had been stuck somewhere in the cross frame of the bed mattress! Even though the couple had lifted up the large king size mattress, neither one of them had spotted their beloved prized possession! What a thrill it was to recover such a special sentimental keepsake!

When I revealed the ring to Peyton and Oliver, the two of them couldn’t believe what their eyes had beheld! Every time I get to surprise my clients, it’s moments like these that makes searches like this one so well worthwhile and gratifying! Now Peyton was ready and able to wear her beautiful diamond engagement ring on the day of her wedding just four months into the future!

Avalon NJ Lost BMW key fob found by John Favano Ring Finders South Jersey

  • from North Wildwood (New Jersey, United States)

Lost a ring?

Call or text now!

215-850-0188

Jeff started his morning early in Avalon, NJ with plans to go surfing. He placed his key fob in his towel on the beach before heading out for some waves. While out in the water, the beach rake accidentally moved his towel and also took his key fob with it.  He and his wife, Kristen, searched for a few hours with no luck, so they called me to help find it. I met them around 30 minutes later and gathered some information. Jeff explained where he placed the towel, so I started the search in the immediate area. I started with a 50-feet radius that didn’t produce any targets.  I then went to the dump pile of sand, but it wasn’t there either. The next step was to expand the search area.  I got a great signal approximately 175-feet away from where he placed the towel. It was the BMW key fob! The couple was relieved and was able to enjoy the rest of Memorial Day.

Engagement Ring Lost , Found, Returned, With A Metal Detector, In Ocean Park, Maine

  • from Old Orchard Beach (Maine, United States)

On Wednesday July 5, 2023, I received a call from Lisa. Lisa explained that her friend had lost her engagement ring at the beach, in Ocean Park, Maine, within the last hour. Lisa went on to explain the her friend was still at the beach, searching for the ring with toy sifters and just running her fingers through the sand. I told Lisa that I would be right there, as I only live about 4 miles from where they were.
I arrived and Lisa met me out on the street and took me to where her friend, Sharon was , and where the ring was lost. Sharon explained that when they arrived at the beach, she sat in the beach chair to apply her sunblock lotion. She removed her ring and placed it in her lap, to apply the lotion. After applying the lotion, Sharon got up, forgetting the ring was in her lap. She immediately realized that the ring was now in the sand and started sifting the sand with her hands, fingers and kids Beach toys. They had no luck with this method and realized they needed a metal detector. Lisa found me by asking a local town association if the had a metal detector. They did not but they did have my business card and Lisa called me immediately.
I had them move their metal Beach chairs and searched the area where Lisa had been sitting. No signals around where the chair was and I started moving away from the chair. About 5-6 feet away from the chair, I received a nice low tone signal and a VDI readout of 12-06 on my CTX-3030. Yup, the engagement ring had been found in literally 2 minutes of searching and Sharon was very very happy to have it back on her finger.  Total time from receiving Lisa’s call to recovering the ring was 25-30 minutes.
This will be a birthday that I will never forget.

Ring Found on July 4th in Volleyball Court in Grand Rapids, MI

  • from Holland (Michigan, United States)

After getting home from another ring find I get a notice from my friend Gregg Larabel that there is another ring lost and they need help in finding it right now.   I called the number but it went right thru to voice mail so I just showed up at the volleyball court.   A group of people were having lunch nearby and I asked them if somebody had lost a ring in the volleyball court-their reply was yes but they did not know who it was.   I just grabbed my equipment and started to search for the ring.   Just got started and Allen and his wife show up, they had been sitting in a group outside their apartment and saw me start the search.   The ring that was lost was Allen’s wedding ring.   Allen showed me what he was doing when his ring flew off his hand and the direction he thinks it went.   I started my grid of that area and after finding 2 pennies the third target was his ring.   Allen gave me a big hug and we just saved another marriage.
