How does an engagement ring end up in the thick grass? There are literally dozens of ways that rings can get lost in someones yard and on this occasion Annie and her husband had just pulled up into their drive way and were getting out of their car when Annie’s hands were feeling a bit swollen due to the summer humidity. She wanted to remove her rings before going inside and she tried pulling her rings off and all of a sudden they both just popped off and went flying into the grass. Here is a short text from her husband of that shocking experience. « My wife dropped her wedding band and engagement ring in our yard. We found the wedding band but not the engagement ring. We bought a metal detector and spent a whole day searching with no luck. We were stressed and anxious. I texted Mike and he made time to come see us the very next day. He was very professional and kind. I showed him the area and he found it in less than 5 minutes! Don’t waste your time and money on a metal detector when you can ask Mike! I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends! Thank you Mike! »

Actually feeling your rings come off and knowing the exact area where they landed is a huge help in trying to find and recover your lost rings. It was an honor to help Huy and his dear wife and I thank God for giving me the privilege to help them and anyone else who asks for my help! I do not find every ring that I am asked to look for but I always try my very best and assure people to never give up hope!

Diamond platinum engagement ring

I received a call from Rebecca yesterday afternoon, she had lost her precious engagement ring in dry sand on West Wittering beach , I advised her to take photos of nearby huts etc to get an idea where the ring was lost .

This morning I searched the area , with references from the photos ,and after gridding and detecting the area , I eventually recovered the lost engagement ring ,it was very shallow only 1-2 inches deep , Rebecca was overjoyed when I informed her of a successful recovery of her beloved engagement ring , another ring reunited with its grateful owner thanks to ringfinders

Recently I received a referral to find a lost Gold wedding band at the beach from a local Ring Finder John Hughes who was originally called and referred from the Lifeguards.

The couple contacted me on a Sunny Sunday may 7th with just a few questions & concerns,,I jumped in my vehicle arriving around 30 min.  They spotted me walking down so we began to go over the story showing an area where it might be lost amongst the crowded beach goers…I turned on the metal detector and dug a dime,Nickel & Called them over when I received a particular signal similar to gold yet better than a nickel,,So I used my hand as a scoop to remove that signal from the sand while holding just my hand open when nothing happened….Once I blew the sand off my palm is then when Ty’s Precious gold ring magically appeared. :):):).  To my astonishment I was also blown away as the beach goers all around roared with cheers clapping as they watched this unfold…

Garland Maine ring lost for 5 years found

I was recently contacted by Justin about a ring lost a « couple years »ago. I told him I would be happy to help him out.I took the couple years to be two and felt it would be a fairly easy recovery.  Once on site I started the questioning of how it was lost.  He was in the passenger seat with the wife having a » discussion ». The ring came off and was » tossed « out the window. The exact spot in the driveway was unclear. Time passed and memory. The first day I spent two hours and covered what I could. The terrain was hostile to say the least. previous home owners had a lot of burns. The soils were full of miscellaneous metals. Even large sheets 4x6pieces of sheet metal half buried.. No easy recovery for sure.

On the second day, I focused on where the vehicle may have been. Justin and I tossed small stones as though being « tossed » out a vehicle window. Turns out, most of the throws ended more behind and to the side of the vehicle. I searched a second time, pulling all solid signals out. Still no luck. After two hours, I was calling it a day. Justin mentioned he had raked while searching for this ring and burned the leaves. I decided to check charred areas one more time. Still no luck, having decided to call it quits until more cleanup could occur. While walking back to my truck, swinging the detector, I got a solid signal at the base of a large tree. Not the number I was looking for, yet dug it anyway. A large piece of aluminum foil AND a second signal, FINALLY the RING!

After the happy reunion with his ring, Justin stated that ring was « tossed » in 2018…. a « couple of years » turned out to be 5!

Ring lost in Coronado found

Michael was at the beach tossing a ball around when his yellow gold wedding ring flew off into the dry sand and disappeared. Having lost his ring before, and with a good outcome by contacting TheRingFinders.com, he knew just who to call this time. I headed over quickly and met Michael at a pre-arranged spot. He escorted me to the search area and explained the circumstances on how the ring was lost. Not a big area, maybe 20 foot square, and after a minute or so, I got the signal I was expecting. A probe with my pin pointer zeroed in on the target and I plucked his ring from the sand. Michael was a happy repeat customer. Thank you for the reward.

The Ring’s Out Of The Bag At Surf City Beach & Found The Same Day

Austin & Abbey were spending a wonderful May day at the Surf City beach.  Abbey’s ring was placed in a bag they had brought along and it believed her ring escaped while retrieving a cell phone from the same bag.  Panic set in and they frantically searched the sand unsuccessfully.

Austin’s father is a beach metal detectorist and was aware of The Ring Finders.  He called me shortly afterwards and I explained I was in Ohio for a college graduation.  I also told him I have a few select friends I trust to help when I become unavailable.  Justin was called and I immediately sent him the contact information as well as the information I knew about the lost ring.  It didn’t take long after Justin’s arrival that Abbey had her ring back in her hand.

Lost Ring in Backyard

I was contacted by Dustin after he lost his ring. Dustin said his ring came off after tossing some muck from the pool skimmer over the railing behind his pool. He remembered hearing a sound like the ring hit the concrete. There were a few small trees and lots of underbrush to cover the ring. After I was shown the area I went to work working in sections. Almost 5 minutes later I found the ring.

Lost Ring Doing Yard Work In Haddon Hts, Found By Dave Milsted

Bob contacted me through my website, asking if I could search for his lost ring. He had been doing yard work, and when he went to Loews for more supplies, he noticed that his titanium wedding ring was missing. We were both available this Saturday, weather permitting. We are expecting 4 days of heavy rain.<p>
Saturday morning was gloomy, but the rain paused; we now have a fine mist. I met Bob at his house. He showed me his work area in the front of the house. He had planted some flowers and placed about 2 inches of mulch. If it is not here, it could be in his backyard, as he made several trips to his shed. I asked if he had searched his car, and he said yes. He also searched the parking lot at Loews.<p>
I got started, and he returned to the house to tend to his 6-month-old & 2 large dogs. I did a quick check of both flower beds and noticed there were a lot of iron targets. This took all of 5 minutes. I dug a few, and they were old nails. So I need to slow down and make a much more thorough check.
About 10 minutes later, I got a signal under one of the bushes. I dug down about 3 inches, and there was his silver titanium ring. I took a few pictures and knocked on his door. Bob came out, and I asked him if I could search the backyard toward his shed. As he was answering and trying to figure out why it wasn’t here, because he was sure this was where it would be, I held up his ring, and when he finally noticed, the look on his face was priceless. I had asked him if he was in the dog house because he had lost his ring, he said no, but his wife was disappointed. She will be happy again.

I received a call from a lady that had lost their ring while cleaning and repotting some plants. We scheduled a time to meet. There were a couple of places she said it could have been – in the yard where she had dumped the water from the pots, the trash were all the dead plant materials went or the pots with the new plants.  She said she had dumped out the newly potted plants and went through the dirt already so I concentrated on the area where the water and muck was dumped.  After not being able to find anything there I started in on the newly potted plant pot. I got a very faint signal so I put my pinpointer in the pot and there it was! It was just under 1/2 inch of soil.  Great day to help!

Man’s Tungsten Wedding Band Lost Playing Football, Found and Returned North Myrtle Beach, SC

Got a call from Zach asking if I could help find a lost ring? I got the details of when, where and how.  I grabbed my Equinox 800 and hit the road. He sent me the address for 14th Ave North, and for whatever reason I went to 14th Ave South. After realizing my error, I turned around and headed north. I called Zach and told him I’d be there in about 8 minutes. Zach told me his friend was waiting near the beach entrance to bring me out on the beach. When I got close, I saw a young man standing on the corner. I pulled over and ask if he was the guy waiting on me, he was. As we walked out on the beach he told me his name was Sean and he was the one who lost the ring. I asked him to tell me what happen. He said they were here for a bachelor party and had been throwing a football around. He said he dived to catch the ball and his hands went in the sand. He also said he didn’t realize his ring was gone until a little later.

As we arrived at the group of guys enjoying the beautiful day, I introduced myself. Sean showed me an area that had stakes at each corner, maybe 20×20 ft. I asked him where he thought he made the dive to catch the ball and he responded about in the middle. I asked what kind of ring and he replied Tungsten. So I knew I was looking for a VDI (visual display indicator) around 16. I turned my machine on, looked at Sean and said “How bout we get that ring back on your finger in less than a minute.” Sean just looked at me. I started at the middle end line, took about 10 steps and got the 16 I was looking for. I took a scoop of sand, shook out the scoop and saw a Tungsten ring in the bottom. I walked back towards Sean and asked him what his ring looked like. He described it to a T! He then made the comment, “that was less than a minute.” Sean was a very happy and thankful young man.
