Story goes….
The couples 5 yr old son had a mini treasure chest he was playing with, and mom/dad allowed him to put their wedding rings into it. What could go wrong? Right? They were right by him, walking up their driveway towards the street. They started playing around and chased the 5 yr old. Apparently to get the box back or jokingly get it back. Well, the boy decided to throw it to home plate from first base! 😱🤣 Mom saw her ring hit the ground then disappear! Son found the box, dad found his ring, but moms ring was nowhere to be found! After hours of searching and moving leaves, they finally found me on “THE RING FINDERS. Com” and asked for help!
It was a 2 hour drive one-way to get to their house and try to find it.
I get there, get the backstory and the general area to search. I searched and searched for almost an hour. I was beginning to lose hope. I then started expanding my search area and got up to the natural area and went around a small cedar tree when I get a VDI 51-53! I bend down and BOOM! There’s the shiny object I had been looking for!!! It had traveled from the street, through the cedar tree and landed about 8 inches from the base under it and under a bunch of leaves!

Do you need help finding something of value? Call or Text ASAP … Stan the Metal Detector Man  .. 949-500-2136

*** Eric had lost his white gold wedding ring while throwing a ball. The loss occurred at Bolsa Chica State Beach in the city of Huntington Beach, CA. It happened under a bridge which connects to the tide water wildlife sanctuary.  He saw the ring fly off his finger and into ankle deep sandy water.

Eric was positive that he could find it using a shovel and sifting system. He returned two days later with a bunch of tools. Starting at 9am he had not found it after 3 hours of hard work. Frustrated and ready to give up he google searched for ideas.

He contacted me and I said I may not have time to do a proper search but if he was at the location, I would meet him there in 20 minutes. Access to the location was over large break water boulders. Once down in the sandy river bottom Eric showed me the location which he had extensively dug up. It was saturated wet sand which can actually help a heavy gold ring to sink deeper.

Turned I my detector, telling Eric I would give it a quick try, because I had to be somewhere else soon. I now had a good location so it would easy to search it properly later. WELL!! two quick swings and I got the signal. Big white gold wedding ring in the scoop.  Wonders never cease.. we just had a couple seconds to take photos before I had to leave. .. Another successful search and a very happy and grateful person that now knows who to call if he needs help finding a ring or other metallic valuable.

I received a call from Mark, saying he had lost his 14K white gold class ring in a field with high grass. Along with a few other items. I agree to meet him yesterday after work. Once I get there, I realize this one is going to be like finding a needle in a haystack with how tall the grass was. I finally had to use my truck to flatten down some of the high grassy areas.

I geared up and began swinging and listening to all the tones. I wasn’t 100% sure what this ring would sound like, since I have never found a man’s High School class ring yet.

After about 3.5 hours of swinging, fighting the heat, sweating, bugs and high grass I called it a night. I decided to return the next day, since I had to come back up that way already for something else.

I used my truck again, to flatten down more high grassy areas so I could have better chance at finding this ring. After about another 2 hours of swinging, sweating and digging signals to get them out of the way. I finally get that sweet sound of GOLD!! Solid VDI 53 on the Garrett AT MAX w/the Reaper coil!! BOOM it had been found. I called Mark up and we met up while he was working his Amazon route nearby to return his ring to him!

I love doing this for folks. I wish I could find them all, but I especially love the ones I am able to find and return!!

Lost a ring?

Don’t wait to call!

Al called me about his father’s lost gold chain that had a very precious item on it. In addition to his gold Cross, Morris wears his wife’s wedding band on the chain. He took the jewelry off before he went swimming and placed them on top of his bag. He didn’t realize they had fallen into the sand until later in the evening. I met up with Morris and Al on the beach in Wildwood Crest, NJ to find the jewelry. Shortly after looking with the metal detector, his chain was found and placed back around his neck with the Cross and the ring now close to his heart.

Lost Wedding Ring Found in the Backyard Undergrowth! Brookfield, CT

  • from Westerly (Rhode Island, United States)

A Lost Wedding Ring Found in the Backyard Undergrowth! Before swimming, Kate removed her platinum wedding ring and placed it on a poolside table for safekeeping. Her big brown labrador knocked the table over and sent the ring flying. The night was spent with a flashlight searching the wooden deck and the shrubs below. Days went by and Kate continuously searched around the pool and the undergrowth below. She even resorted to purchasing a Harbor Freight metal detector, but still didn’t find the lost ring. Running out of options, Kate found my ring-finding service online and booked her search.  I arrived and we retraced Kate’s steps from the day she lost the ring. I cleaned out the area under the deck and trimmed some of the tall brush to make the search a bit easier. After about an hour I found the ring in the undergrowth pressed into the soil. The ring bounced off the deck, through the railing landed a couple of feet into the shrubs. Kate was finally reunited with her lost wedding ring!

Lost Gold w/Diamonds Bracelet Underwater Found in Cass Lake Waterford Township Michigan

  • from Detroit (Michigan, United States)

One Score and Seven Days Ago…….

…..DeAngelo and his out-of-town fiancée were eager to celebrate their independence and freedom. In the pursuit of happiness, they invited all their local friends and family to join them on the lake. As they headed out on 3 pontoon boats the party of 20 people caught up on current events, personal goals and family gossip. Arriving at a popular sandbar their 4th of July celebration began. Food, drinks, card games, music and dancing had everyone in a great mood. His fiancée frequently jumped in and out of each boat to visit with everyone. As dusk approached the small fleet packed it in and headed for the mainland. It was around this time that his fiancée noticed her bracelet missing. With the remaining light everyone tried to find it with no luck. DeAngelo and I made arrangements to meet and try to find it. Arriving at the location I put on my snorkel mask, weight belt and jumped into the refreshing clear cool water with the metal detector to grid search the sand bar. An hour later and a pocket full of junk I got another signal. Thinking it was another bottlecap I looked thru my fogging snorkel mask and thought I saw something. Rinsing out the mask I then went completely underwater a few feet and scanned the sand with my Garrett carrot pin pointer. Moving through the sand I got a signal and when the blurring of the stirred-up sand cleared I saw a portion of the bracelet! Knowing I had to come up for air in a few seconds I pulled the bracelet out of the sand and secured it in both hands. As I surfaced, I was hoping that the bracelet had just snapped and there was not another piece somewhere. That turned out to be true. I yelled over to DeAngelo to come see me. As I showed it to him, he said WOW that’s it, you found it! Boarding the boat, DeAngelo quickly sent texts and pics of the find to his fiancée. She was totally elated and didn’t think she would ever see it again. As we enjoyed the ride back, and our heads held high, DeAngelo was excited to get the bracelet repaired and returned to her next time they meet. Now they can look back on this 4th of July as a double celebration as one heart, proud to be under one flag and on the land that we call America!

Keep calm and SPARKLE on!

Lost Kelowna Ring found and returned

  • from Kelowna (British Columbia, Canada)

Warren and his family were down at the local beach to watch the fireworks display, after sitting in the sand, Warren went to wash his hands in the water. Back on the beach he shook the water off his hands and before he knew it, his ring was missing. The family searched until midnight with no success, they returned in the morning with a metal detector, again unsuccessfully. The ring belonged to his Father who had it and two other rings made from a gold nugget. Regretfully Warren`s Father had recently died, and Warren inherited his Father`s ring, unfortunately that was the ring he was wearing on the beach. I had been working my sales booth at a Rock & Gem show all weekend, and just got home when my wife said that I had a phone call on the recording machine, I returned the call to Warren who told me his story, I told him I would be there at 5:30 in the morning to search for it. I had no sooner hung up when I gave it second thoughts, Warren was very distraught so I called him back and said I would meet him at the beach in 45 minutes, the sooner the search the better. At the beach he showed me the loss location which I gridded for over 30 minutes. I told him there is a possibility that it went into the water and I would return in the am to search the water. Before I left the beach, I searched the waters edge getting my feet wet, only to recover the ring. Another happy family, I love it.

Aggie Ring and Wedding Ring Lost in MUCK in Ennis, Texas Lake

  • from Dallas (Texas, United States)
Contact:

We got a call from a young man who had been riding a horse with his wife and decided to cross the lake to the island in the center.  As they entered the MUCKed Up section the young man’s horse sank up to his belly in the MUCK.  He crawled off his horse and crawled through the MUCK to the shore.  Concerned that they would need a tractor to get his horse out he sent his wife to get a ranch hand to assist.  But the horse was able to break free and get himself out.  Then he realized that both his Aggie Ring and his Cobalt Ring were gone.  He looked over at the MUCK and thought the worst.  He may never see his rings again.

Then he checked the all knowing “Google” to rent a metal detector and during his search the Dallas Ring Finders listing came up.  We scheduled to come in the next day.  We were able to locate both rings in under a minute, see the full video on our channel “Dallas Ring Finders”, another happy customer  for the Dallas Ring Finders.

Lost Ring at the Blue Angels show – FOUND!!!

  • from Orange Beach (Alabama, United States)

Hunter and Ashley are two of the nicest people you could ever meet.  That probably saved their ring, because I’m not going to lie, I almost passed by this one. Ashley had reached out to me online Saturday after the Blue Angels show and explained that while they were on the beach with thousands of other spectators, Hunter’s ring had come off in the sand. They had scoured the area but unfortunately couldn’t find it. I told them that I would be out that way in the water the next day and I would take a look. Fast forward to the next morning and my Father-in-law Tom and I were way later getting out there than we had planned while we decided if the weather was going to hold. When we pulled up I walked down to the area with my land machine and I could see 7 people with detectors within 100 yds of the area. To make matters worse, the beach machine that rakes the sand for debris had already covered the area. I talked myself into believing that the ring was gone and walked back to the car to get my water machine. By the time I got down to the water to join Tom, my conscience was eating at me. I told him I was going to run back down there anyway and take a look so I could at least say I tried. On the way, I noticed that a lot of the detectorists didn’t have the same caliber of equipment and their technique left a bit to be desired. I started to feel like maybe there was a chance after all. Sometimes I really feel like God will put you where he wants you if you will listen and obey. Sure enough, I didn’t make 3 passes and I got a nice gold tone. I reached down with the scoop and pulled out Hunter’s ring. They came by my house later in the day and I got to meet them and see their happy smiles in person. The hugs alone made the search all worth it. Congrats to you both.

Diamond Wedding Set lost underwater in Jacksonville, Little Talbot Island, FL. …Returned to grateful owner.

I received a call late in the afternoon of July 4th from a lady who informed me she was in about 4 feet of water when a wave smashed into her. She exited the water and realized her wedding ring set was missing from her finger. She said she searched not only in the water but also about 100 yards away where she was sitting. She believed her ring was lost in the water but not 100% sure. She was at a beach called Little Talbot Island which was about 40 miles from me. I determined the best time to search was the next day. I searched for about 4 hours both in the water and on the beach with no luck.  I called her up and let her know that I did not find the ring but not to give up hope as there would be some tide changes in a few days.  I think she gave up faith after hearing I did not find her rings. I returned 2 days later and found her wedding set in the water about 12″-14″ buried under the sand.  When I sent her a picture of her wedding set she called me crying and could not believe they were found…
