It started as a relaxing day at the beach in Ocean City, New Jersey quickly turned into a moment of panic for one couple after they realized both a wedding ring and engagement ring had slipped off somewhere in the sand. n the realm of lost treasures, love and sentiment hold unparalleled value. When Chrissy lost her beloved engagement and wedding ring on the beach in Ocean City, NJ, their hearts sank. Dave spent an hour or two searching, and he could not find them.

Chrissy called me for help from Facebook and my page Ring Finders South Jersey. I spoke to her and met Dave, her husband 20 minutes later.

On the official first day of summer Viola lost her platinum wedding band in the ocean while tossing a football on the beach in Cape May, NJ. After realizing that her ring had fallen off in the water, she saw a fellow metal detectorist combing the beach who referred her to me.  We set a time to meet and search for the ring.  The search began in waist deep water in the ocean and after a quick but though search, the ring was found 20 minutes later! The ring was recovered and returned to its owner!

Skyler lost his wedding band on the beach in Avalon, NJ. He put the ring in the mesh pocket of his beach chair, and it dropped into the sand when he pulled something else out it. Dev was visiting friends in Sea Isle City, NJ for a few days when he realized his wedding band had gone missing in the sand. He suspected that it might have fallen out of his beach bag. Stacey and Andrew were on the picturesque Crest Pier in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey for their wedding ceremony this past weekend when Stacy’s engagement ring slipped through the gaps in the pier’s wooden planks.
Meghan from the bridal party reached out to me, and within 15 minutes, I joined the family to help them retrieve the lost ring. I initially conducted a detailed search of the sand down below but the engagement ring was not there.
I returned to my car and grabbed my endoscope to examine the space under the boards and above the pilings. With Bill and another guest offering assistance, the engagement ring was found about 15 feet above ground level out of eyesight on the rafter. Thanks to teamwork, the day was saved, and the family and friends could continue their celebrations in Wildwood Crest, NJ!

Jonny had lost his custom-made wedding band in the ocean just a day earlier, while spending time in Sea Isle City, NJ.
