Diamond Rings Found in the Naples Florida Sand by Metal Detector Mark Greul & why you need to hire a professional metal detector

  • from Marco Island (Florida, United States)

[April 23, 2019 – Naples, Florida] Got a call from Brian’s wife who reported having lost two rings at the beach.  The rings she’s carefully guarded in her pocket were likely lost as she was tending her children and applying more sunscreen.  So, why hire a professional metal detector?  Well, several hours of searching, traffic, and sifting through the sand had only managed to broaden the search area and drive the rings deeper.  The wedding band was the first to be found.  It gave off a faint signal being buried in about 5-6 inches of sand and canted at a 45 decgree angle.  The diamond solitaire proved to be a bit more tricky.  It was found nearby, yielding only an occasional very very faint signal as it was 6-8 inches deep standing nearly straight up.  The rest is now history and another « story » added to a family’s memorable vacation in Naples, Florida.  What was once lost has been found – thank God!

If you’ve lost a ring or sentimental item, don’t hesitate calling.  Literally, TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!  With years of metal detecting experience, the best and most sophisticated metal detecting equipment, and numerous recoveries and even more finds, the testimonials and results are why you need to hire a professional metal detector.  Call Mark (239)500-RING [7464] or Text (239)770-7873 – metal detector rental services – Naples, Marco Island, Ft. March 13, 2019 Bonita Beach/Naples, Florida – MAN’S GOLD AND DIAMOND WEDDING BAND FOUND – While on vacation eating lunch on Bonita Beach, thankful for the sun and being away from the Missouri freeze, Dad noticed that his gold wedding band was no longer where he had tucked it away, you know, in that super safe place in the beach bag.  Well, after two (2) days of searching on their own, in-law’s and all, his wife finally called and made arrangements for professional metal detecting location services.  Upon my arrival, 3 other metal detectors were already busy searching the sand and water in that general vicinity.  Well, good circumstance and fortune prevailing, not to mention a bit of skill and, arguably, use of the most sophisticated metal detecting equipment in the industry, another successful ring recovery is on the board.  The thank you and smiles tell all, simply priceless.

Gold ring lost in sand found by Metal Detector on Naples Florida Beach

  • from Marco Island (Florida, United States)

(March 11, 2019) While vacationing and spending the day at a beautiful sunny Naples Florida beach, Kelly noticed that her favorite gold ring was missing, possibly lost in the fine white sugar sand.  She’d had the ring since high school, and it being very special, even  irreplaceable with its sentimental value far exceedeeding any intrinsic value, the help of nearby friends and beach patrons was quickly solicited, all joining in on the search, each one on their hands and knees, carefully feeling and sifting the sand as it fell through their fingers, without result.  Luckily, Kelly called for help and found the right person for the job.  WITHIN THE HOUR the lost gold ring was back on Kelly’s finger.  The tearful now cheerful.  The hug and smiles tell more than words can express, simply priceless.  Thanks be to God for the happy ending.

If you’ve lost a ring or jewelry, something metal, regardless of value, whether in the sand or water, I can find it for you.  Call Mark Greul of Naples Florida (239) 500-7464 (RING).

Tobi called on July 6th, 2 days after losing her platinum and diamond wedding ring. She felt it fly off when throwing a ball to her kids. Luckily, she heard it hit a landscape timber. That really narrowed the search area. Carrie and I jumped in the truck and drove the 40 miles to her house. Within 10 minutes, Sid got a strong 47 reading on his Garrett AT PRO. Right below the surface was the beautiful ring. After reuniting Tobi and her ring, we cooled down while having a nice visit with Tobi and her dad. Loaded up the truck and headed home. Thank you Tobi for your generous reward!

Lost engagement ring, Port Orange, Fl…..Found!

Jennifer was enjoying a cool afternoon walk along her favorite grassy back road and thinking about how loose her engagement ring felt on her finger. As she walked along she was thinking, I wonder if my ring would come off if I shook my hand a bit and sure enough, the motion was enough to send her ring off into the thick grass! Shocked at what just happened, she immediately stopped and tried searching through the grass, desperate to recovery her now, lost ring! After searching for several hours she realized she needed to at least mark the spot and by using her foot she scuffed a bare spot on the grassy road and then went to her truck to find something to better mark the area. All she could find was a machete and some red surveyors tape, so she returned to the mark and stuck the machete into the ground along side of the road directly across from the bare spot. She then called her fiancee and together they talked about renting or buying a cheap metal detector. Later they went on Google and typed in « Metal Detection Professionals » and up came theringfinders.com. Jennifer gave me a call and we met later on that afternoon and drove out to the unique machete marker along side of the road. I set out four flags and began my grid search and did not walk more than 5 steps before I got a really nice signal on my Whites DFX metal detector. Because the grass was so thick I decided to use my Garrett Pro Pointer and there was Jennifer’s lost engagement ring! I motioned for Jennifer to come pick up what I had located and you talk about one happy young lady! Here’s what Jennifer wrote two days later. « While out walking,my favorite ring fell off my finger and even though I knew the location where it fell off, I was unable to find the ring after several hours of looking through the tall grass. I contacted Mike after finding his information on the internet and he responded as soon as he was able. Mike asked a few questions, set up a boundary and started looking. And within minutes of him arriving at the site, my ring was found!! I am so grateful to Mike for his help and my fiancee and I would like to give him a big thanks! Again thanks so much! »

Received a call last evening from Brad told me he lost his wedding band at work while hooking up to a trailer in the yard! And could I possibly help him find the ring.

Meet Brad within one hour he showed me where his ring could possibly be? Brad explained to me how he lost his ring? he took his ring off and put the ring in his pocket while he was working also in his pocket was his truck keys and when he took the keys out to move the truck the ring must have fallen out? That narrowed the search to two possible areas approximately 20′ x 40′ each.  Since the temperature has been above Zero for the past week the yard was full of mud and a lot of metal pieces scattered all over the yard? This been said it was going to be a real challenge to locate the ring?  Brad did his best to try and find the ring with no luck at all.

Within 30 minutes of the search I found the ring buried in mud I called Brad over and asked him was that his ring in the mud he was over the moon to have his ring back on his finger Brad didn’t believe he would ever see his ring again, Another happy client!  Thank you Brad for entrusting me to finding your ring.

Two Rings One Search – Lost Ring in Sauble Beach Ontario Canada

About a week ago we received a call from a pretty upset couple who had lost their wedding ring in Sauble Beach. We drove up that day to search and within a few minutes had a strong beep, we instantly dug the signal knowing it would be good and sure enough we pulled up a beautiful gold wedding band.

Excitedly we called back the owner and sent them a photo to hear them respond in a sad tone and say « That isnt my ring » Turns out in the same location we found another wedding band!! We continued the search that night and came out empty handed. We returned a few days later and searched another 6ish hours creating a grid and expanding the search as far as possible in the directions we were told they went. Again we came out without a ring.

At this point we were beginning to wonder where this ring could be, we knew the last chance to find this ring was to call them up and see if they would possibly drive 2 and a half hours to meet us at the location. They both kindly agreed to this and left there home town at 5:30am to meet us on the water at 8:00. My dad and myself new the ring wasnt in the location we had thought it was, the last hope was to have them redo their entire actions from that day and eliminate all the possibilities.

We met them at the beach and began right away by asking many questions,

when did you notice the ring was missing?

Where were you when it fell off?

Did you walk away from the area at any point?

Etc.

After many questions we figured there was a few options, the ring was lost walking to get food, around their main on land location or it was out further than we had searched due to aggressive waves and a miss communication over the phone in terms of how deep he was actually out.

We gridded off the land with no luck and decided to move out much deeper than we searched previous days, the husband and wife both went out into the water with us (which was not super warm) and within five minutes of searching where he believed it was lost we found this amazing gold wedding band.

Moral of the story is never give up, continue to expand the grid and ask as many questions as possible!
