Do you need a metal detector to find something that is lost in your yard or at the park? Why not hire a professional metal detecting expert instead. My name is Mike McInroe…Central Florida Ring Finder at 321-363-6029! On land, in the water, the grass, sand, in cars, homes…rings, jewelry, keys, phones, property markers and more.

Yami called me to ask if there was any way to find a lost wallet in the dirt. I asked a few questions about the wallet and she informed me that it was her husbands and it contained some very important documents, credit cards, money and 2 other very essential elements that would help make finding it a lot easier. It contained a money clip and an Air Tag. I met Yami and her husband the next morning at the construction site and I began a systematic grid search over the areas where he thought were most likely. There were a lot of metal pieces strewn throughout the dirt and and after 40 minutes I got a promising signal in the 50s and I kicked the dirt back and there lay the young man’s lost wallet…very dirty but intact! You should have seen the ecstatic couple as they came running at me with huge smiles and arms wide for big hugs all around! Another answer to prayer and I am overwhelmed by God’s goodness when He allows me the honor and privilege to help those in need.

How can I help you? Call or text me ASAP and let’s talk!

Small Silver Pendant lost in Sand at Newport Beach, CA. Found by Using a metal detector expert

  • from Newport Beach (California, United States)

** Susan lost a very sentimental pendant in the sand at Newport Beach, CA. She had been running to catch a ball near where her friends had set up their beach towels and umbrella for a fun day at the beach, when her necklace broke.

Someone on the beach saw everybody searching the sand and told them that they  could find a metal detecting service online. They didn’t know such a thing existed.

I was contacted and arrived at Newport Beach soon after talking with her.. A half hour into the search I located her special dime size pendant.. It was a happy ending to a day that was looking like she was never going to see her pendant again..

Find a ring in Mamaroneck! – Another Day, Another Miracle… and Three Ring Calls!

Another Day, Another Miracle… and Three Ring Calls!
If you lost your jewelry, call me right now – 646-235-8797

This morning, just before 9 AM, my phone buzzed with a text from Sandra.

She said she had found my contact info online and that her husband had lost his wedding band the day before while running around outside with the kids at his brother’s house in Mamaroneck. The catch? They had already driven back home to Albany with their four kids, so making another trip down wasn’t exactly practical.

Almost as soon as Sandra’s text came in, I got another message from someone who had lost a ring too. Unfortunately, that one never panned out, but little did I know it was going to be one of those days.

A few minutes later, I found out Sandra’s sister-in-law and a family friend would be at the house after 1 PM and could give me access to the backyard. Sounded like a plan.

When I got there, I looked over the yard and started a grid search from the far left side. Nice and slow… straight out, back, over a little, straight out again. One lane at a time, just trying to cover as much ground as possible and hoping for that one good signal.

As I worked my way toward the middle of the yard, my detector suddenly gave me a really solid hit. You know when you hear one of those signals and think, “This might actually be it?”

I got down on my knees, grabbed the pinpointer, and almost immediately caught a little shine in the grass.

“I GOT IT!”

Yeah… I yelled.

Sandra’s sister-in-law and her friend came running outside, and they were just as excited as I was. The funny part was it wasn’t even their ring! But that’s one of the things I love about doing this. Everybody gets caught up in the moment.

I took my recovery pictures and started heading back to the Bronx feeling pretty good about the day.

Then, while I was driving home, I got a THIRD call for the day! This gentleman had lost a piece of jewelry at Rockaway Beach, and while we were talking about the search, he suddenly tells me…

“I found it!”

Turns out Alfonso found his own 24-karat gold bracelet while we were on the phone together. I can’t take any credit for that one, but I was happy for him anyway.

So today somehow turned into two happy endings. 😉

Maybe today was National Lose Your Jewelry Day and nobody told us. 😂

One family in Albany got a platinum wedding band back, Alfonso got his 24-karat gold bracelet back, and I got another reminder of why I enjoy being a Ring Finder so much.

You never know where the next call is coming from… or how the story is going to end.

Wedding band recovered at Long Branch

Got a text about a lost ring in Long Branch NJ. After calling Anthony, I agreed to meet him at the beach. Anthony met me at the entrance of the beach and took me down to where ring was lost. He said he was playing volleyball when the ring flew off his finger. He stated he and his friends searched for an hour with no luck. I started searching the area with no luck. So I started a grid search and after a few passes I got the signal I was hoping for and sure enough there was his ring at the edge of the search area. Anthony was so happy to have his ring back on his finger where it belongs. Another happy ending.

Lost Ring Recovered in the Ocean in Wildwood, NJ After Football Toss Ends in Panic

A fun day in the ocean at Wildwood, NJ quickly turned stressful when a local beachgoer lost his ring while throwing a football in the surf.

The conditions were perfect for enjoying the beach. Friends and family were spending time in the water, tossing a football back and forth in the waves. During one throw, he felt something unusual on his hand. Moments later, he realized his ring had slipped off his finger and disappeared into the ocean.

Anyone who has ever lost jewelry in the surf knows how quickly panic can set in. Waves constantly shift the sand, visibility is poor, and the search area grows larger with every passing minute.

After spending considerable time searching on his own without success, he decided to call me, John Favano of Ring Finders South Jersey.

When I received the call, I asked several important questions to help narrow down the search area. Determining the direction of the waves, water depth, and the exact activity taking place at the time of the loss can dramatically improve recovery success rates.

Once I arrived in Wildwood, I entered the water and began a systematic metal detecting search. Ocean recoveries require patience, experience, and specialized equipment designed to locate precious metals beneath wet sand and moving water.

After approximately 20 minutes of searching, I received a strong signal beneath the sand. Using my recovery scoop, I carefully dug the target and immediately spotted the missing ring.

The look of relief and excitement on the owner’s face made the entire search worthwhile. What seemed lost forever beneath the Atlantic Ocean was safely back where it belonged.

If you’ve lost a ring, necklace, bracelet, watch, or other valuable item on the beach, in the water, or in the sand, immediate action can significantly improve recovery chances.

Ring Finders South Jersey specializes in lost ring recovery in Wildwood, NJ, and throughout the South Jersey shore communities.

Don’t give up hope. Many items that seem impossible to recover are successfully found every season.

Lost Sterling Silver Ring Found in Lake Orion Michigan

Green With Laughter…

Got a text from Jerry asking if I could find a lost ring in some ivy, I asked is it poison ivy? He quickly said no just regular ivy. Seems that his wife Terri was throwing yard debris down the embankment next to a huge patch of ivy and her ring came off. The ring is 20 years old and has been with the couple as they have clung to each other, climbed to success together and regrown over time, similar to ivy. I set up my MXT metal detector and starter to scan a grid pattern and got a few pieces of foil. Nearing mid-slope, I got a nice signal in the range where silver would be identified of the metal detector meter. Reaching thru some ivy I separated a few leaves and saw Terri’s ring sitting on a deep green ivy leaf. Lifting it up Jerry saw it and started moving quickly towards me almost falling headfirst down the embankment. Regaining his footing, Terri walked out onto the deck to see what all the excitement was about and couldn’t believe her ring was found! Jerry rushed over to place it on her finger and as she started jumping up and down Jerry said thank Jonathan not me! Now with all smiles on deck Jerry and Terri can return to the « ivy league » of their own!

Ocean City Bachelorette Weekend Saved After Sentimental Necklace Recovery

Special occasions create lifelong memories, which is why losing a sentimental piece of jewelry can feel devastating.

That was exactly the situation Alexa faced during a bachelorette weekend in Ocean City, New Jersey.

Alexa and her friends had spent the day relaxing on the beach and enjoying the beautiful Jersey Shore weather. Like many beachgoers, they brought chairs, coolers, and personal belongings to enjoy a carefree afternoon by the ocean.

Unbeknownst to Alexa, her sentimental necklace had been placed in the cup holder of her beach chair.

After leaving the beach and returning to their rental home, she realized the necklace was missing.

Panic quickly set in.

The group immediately headed back to the beach and searched the area where they had spent the day. Unfortunately, finding a small piece of jewelry in the sand without specialized equipment is extremely difficult.

Luckily, a nearby beach visitor suggested contacting Ring Finders South Jersey.

I received the call and headed directly to Ocean City.

When I arrived, Alexa explained where the group had been sitting and provided key details about the necklace. Using professional metal detecting equipment and years of experience recovering lost jewelry on South Jersey beaches, I narrowed down the search area.

Within minutes, my detector produced a strong signal.

After carefully checking the spot, the necklace was located safely beneath the sand.

The reaction from Alexa and her friends was priceless. What had started as a stressful situation quickly became one of the best memories of the weekend.

Recoveries like this demonstrate why acting quickly is so important after losing jewelry on the beach. Tides, foot traffic, and shifting sand can make recovery more challenging over time.

At RingFindersSouthJersey.com, I help residents and visitors recover lost rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, watches, and other valuables throughout Ocean City and the Jersey Shore.

If you’ve lost something valuable in the sand, don’t give up hope. Professional metal detecting services can often recover items that seem impossible to find.

A quick call to 215-850-0188 can save your lost ring!

Another 5 Star Review!

So thankful to have found John!! An hour after leaving the beach, I discovered that my necklace had fallen out of the pouch in my beach chair. Thankfully when I went back to look for it, a couple nearby recommended we call the “ring guy”. John was there in about 30 minutes and was efficient, kind, and professional. He found my necklace in under 15 minutes!!
Can’t recommend him enough if you’ve lost something!!
Thank you John!!

LOST GOLD BRACELET W/GOLD BEARS IN SUMMERFIELD, NC…. FOUND!!!

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)

Received a call from Julie saying she lost a very special gold bracelet with tiny gold bears. While doing some gardening and yard work yesterday.

I told her I can head her way as soon as I load my truck up.

I arrived at 3:25 after getting story and layout I started scanning. I decided to start around the garden area and I actually walked over it not once but twice!! I scanned the garden area then made my way to the front yard where she was doing some weeding out of her flower beds and moved a water-hose with a sprinkler over. I still didn’t find it and decided to head back to the garden area. (Got the feeling, you know?) I scanned around and scanned a hole and as I stepped back I heard a signal but couldn’t see it or anything yet. So I moved to the left a little and when I did I could see something shiny! It was one of the gold bears and then I could see two then three! It was her bracelet with the golden bears!

After reuniting her with her priceless treasure she advised me this was her only connection back to Colorado from where she’s from.

So glad they called me, gave me a chance and even more glad I was able to find it and get it back where it belongs.

Lost Wedding Ring Recovered at Port Hueneme Beach — Against the Clock

Metal detecting ring recovery — Port Hueneme, Oxnard, and Ventura County beaches

Late Sunday evening Dave got a call from Maclovio, who had lost his wedding ring somewhere on the beach at Port Hueneme — between the pier and the lifeguard tower to the north. The challenge was immediate and two-fold: that stretch of Port Hueneme Beach covers a lot of sand, and the only window Dave had to search was 4:30am — he had to be at work by 7am. Port Hueneme is a 45-minute drive, which left just 90 minutes on the beach before he had to leave.

Maclovio had sent Dave a pin and a photo of the skyline looking back toward the condos. He remembered being at the top of the slope near a trash can — but that was the only landmark he had.

Dave arrived in the dark and spent the first half hour working the area methodically, pulling quarters and dimes but no ring. When the sun came up he looked at Maclovio’s photo again and realized something critical — Maclovio had pointed him to the wrong trash can. The actual loss location was further down the beach.

With only 15 minutes left before he had to walk back to the car, Dave raced to the spot that made the most sense — and found a tide pool that had formed overnight, complicating the search further. He worked as fast as he could, systematically covering the area, but the clock was running out.

With three minutes left Dave stopped, bowed his head, and asked God to show him where the ring was.

He moved to the edge of the tide pool and made one more pass. A sweet tone rang through his headphones. He drove his scoop into the sand, lifted it, shook it out — and there was Maclovio’s wedding ring.

He raced to his car, sent Maclovio a photo, and got the confirmation back immediately — it was his ring. Another Port Hueneme beach recovery complete.
