Charles and his wife were relaxing on their dock enjoying the cool breeze when all of a sudden the unthinkable happened. Charles’s wife dropped her special bracelet and it fell directly through a small crack and disappeared into the water below. Charles thought of trying to retrieve it but knew that the water was around four feet deep and the bottom was rather silty and full of various sorts of debris and he knew it would not be easy. So the next day he went online and found my information and I agreed to help him recover his wife’s lost gold bracelet. As I arrived and got suited up I asked God to lead me and help me find and retrieve this special lost gold bracelet and it only took 5 minutes or so and Charles was so happy and delighted to have in his hands his special gift that he had given to his wife just a few months earlier.

Lost gold ring out of car window, Leesburg Florida Recovered along side of road by Ring Finders service.

Solomon called me about a lost ring along a busy road over in the Leesburg area and he wanted to know if there was some way I could help him. He said it dropped out of his car window while he was rolling it down and getting ready to throw a little something out. I was a bit confused because many times people throw their rings out of moving cars but in this case it simple dropped off of his finger and he could not find it anywhere and that is why he called me. There was no exact address along the road so he sent me the pin and two hours later we met along the road, parked just ahead of where he was when his ring fell out of his window. I asked Solomon, whose name means « Man of peace », to join me inside my vehicle in the AC so I could ask a few more specific questions and to think about the best way to begin searching for his lost gold ring. As I sat in the car I observed the section of roadway and noticed it was a long curve in the road going to the right and the pavement/asphalt was slanted a fair bit. Solomon had searched in the roadway itself and the other side of the road and had not even thought of looking on the downhill side, which I assured him that a dropped ring would naturally follow his vehicle a short ways and then gravity would push it to the right shoulder. We put on bright yellow and orange vests and I recommended we just walk slowly and search with our eyes before I use my metal detector. We walked maybe 60 feet or so and BOOM…there was Solomons lost gold ring…just laying in the sparse grass! Solomon was shocked and happy and thrilled to see his ring and told me he will not wear it on his pinky finger anymore but will get it resized so it fits properly on his wedding finger. Again I always pray before and after each and every search and I thank God for giving me wisdom and putting me in a position to help people and be a blessing in any way I can.

So how can I help you find something you have lost? Call or text me ASAP and let’s talk!

Yami called me to ask if there was any way to find a lost wallet in the dirt. I asked a few questions about the wallet and she informed me that it was her husbands and it contained some very important documents, credit cards, money and 2 other very essential elements that would help make finding it a lot easier. It contained a money clip and an Air Tag. I met Yami and her husband the next morning at the construction site and I began a systematic grid search over the areas where he thought were most likely. There were a lot of metal pieces strewn throughout the dirt and and after 40 minutes I got a promising signal in the 50s and I kicked the dirt back and there lay the young man’s lost wallet…very dirty but intact! You should have seen the ecstatic couple as they came running at me with huge smiles and arms wide for big hugs all around! Another answer to prayer and I am overwhelmed by God’s goodness when He allows me the honor and privilege to help those in need.

Mrs Patti was doing some yard work pulling weeds and removing all the dead leaves and branches and putting everything into some large garbage bags to be later thrown out. After cleaning everything up she went inside to wash her hands and that is when she noticed that her 47 year old gold wedding ring was not on her finger. She immediately went outside and started going through her garden beds running her hands through the dirt and mulch hoping and praying she could find her lost wedding ring. A neighbor called me and mentioned the situation and I rode over as soon as I could. Mrs Patti was very concerned and explained that she never takes her ring off and was not exactly sure where it went. I assured her that if it was there in the yard I could ver very likely find it for her and not to worry. So I searched all around the plants and combed the dirt and mulch areas well to be sure not to miss even the smallest target, thinking that maybe her ring fell in the dirt and could be up on edge making it more difficult to detect. My last area to check was the two large black garbage bags that were filled with all the debris that was to be thrown out so I laid the first large bag on its side and gently stepped on it to sort of flatten down the contents to make sweeping my metal detector coil more effectively and…Beep, Beep…my detector sounded off on an obvious target that read in the small gold ring range. So I opened the bag and dug through the sticks and leaves and caught a small glimmer of gold! There was Mrs Patti’s lost wedding ring in the trash bag…bound for the garbage but now found and back where it belonged.

Mrs Rosa was sitting in the large screened in porch/pool area of her daughters home and she was brushing dog hair from the sleeve of her sweater when all of a sudden her diamond ring flew off of her finger and she heard it hit something and then it completely disappeared. She tried searching the best she could but at 82 years of age it was just a bit hard to look under all the outdoor furniture and other tight spaces. Her daughter even helped look as well and after a thorough search they decided to call someone for help. Later that afternoon I met Mrs Rosa and after a 10 minute search I was able to find her lost ring behind one of the wheels of the grill. Amazing how quickly a ring can disappear…but thank goodness for an awesome service like theringfinders.com…a metal detecting service to help find your lost ring when you cannot.

Sydney called me to ask for help locating her lost wedding ring in her yard. Apparently she had taken her little one outside and let him walk in the grass and as he toddled around Sydney would allow him to hold on to her hands to steady himself and a half hour later she realized that her wedding ring was no longer on her finger. She frantically searched her yard hoping to find it and later thought about using a metal detector and that led her to theringfinders.com and one of these stories. I was able to meet Sydney later on that day and she walked around the house showing me areas where her little on had walked. At one point we stopped to talk and as we were talking I glanced down and spotted Sydney’s lost ring just laying in the grass. I told Sydney, « Hey look…there is your ring! » The sun was reflecting just perfectly off of her lost ring and I was able to just bend down and pick it up and both her and her mom teared up and we just stood there stunned and super thankful! It is always a HUGE BLESSING to find a lost ring and to able to place it in it’s rightful owners hand!

I was sent Jaylene’s plea for help by Robert Lyman, a fellow ring finder in Nebraska, who spotted her post on Facebook and forwarded her information to me. So I contacted Jaylene to see if I could help her and she was very thankful for the offer. Come to find out she has been going through a rough time and will be moving from her house the end of February. In March of 2025 her young son had picked up her engagement ring and threw it out into the back yard and she was beside herself just thinking about having to move away without ever seeing her ring again…ever! So when I called and offered my help she was absolutely thrilled that there actually might be a chance to see her lost ring again!

I truly believe that miracles still do happen…so I asked God to use me and lead me to her ring and it only took minutes to find her lost ring and I think she cried for the next 2 days straight! She was so overwhelmed with gratitude and I cannot thank God enough for guiding me to her door and then to find her lost ring!

Zack could not find his wedding ring and tried looking with a rented metal detector and still come up empty handed. He was 99% sure he lost it in his yard somewhere while doing yard work earlier that day. He had planted some small ornamental bushes and laid down new mulch and even had about 10 medium bags of left over dirt that he wanted to dispose of later but the thought of his ring being out in his yard somewhere made him quite anxious. Later that evening Zack went online and found theringfinders.com and gave me a call. I met him the next day and decided to start my search exactly where he started working the day before. His yard and newly planted bushes were neat and tidy and as I moved on to the 2nd area I noticed he had laid out the bags of extra dirt on the brick driveway so I decided to scan them. Each bag was tied up and on the last bag I got a faint signal. I flipped the bag over and immediately got a solid gold like signal and it was only a matter of sticking my pin pointer into the dirt and the picture shows what was hidden inside. Zack was thrilled and could not believe what just happened.

Lost wedding ring in Hart Springs, Bell, Florida found by Florida ring finder Mike McInroe

Alexis and her husband were enjoying a fun day at Hart Springs and after jumping off of the high platform two times he realized that he still had his wedding ring on and it was feeling just a bit loose. Alexis was standing behind the railing by the edge of the jumping platform when he removed his wedding ring and handed it to Alexis for safe keeping and she slid it onto her index finger thinking it would be fine. But her husband thought it needed to be put on her middle finger so as she attempted to remove his ring from her index finger it all of a sudden popped off and dropped into the water below sinking straight way to the bottom of the spring. Alexis and her husband were stunned and after a few minutes they attempted to dive down and retrieve their now « lost ring »! It was close to 14 feet deep and their attempts were futile which made the situation even more intense…especially since they were just married not even two months ago! Alexis went online and found theringfinders.com and in the « Directory » noticed that there was no one else closer to Hart Springs that could help her and figured that maybe I could…being as I was scuba certified and in the Orlando area…145 miles away!! But when Alexis told me what happened and described how they saw exactly where the ring hit the water…I knew that there was a very, very high likelihood of being able to recover it and so we made plans to meet the next day. My dear wife accompanied me early the next morning and two and a half hours later and in a slight drizzle we met Alexis and she showed us the platform and it didn’t take me long to set up my scuba tank, 50 foot hose and diving gear and down into the water I went. I carefully grid searched a 10X20 foot area and found two rings and other items and thankfully one of the rings was Alexis’s husbands ring and to say she was relieved and thrilled…was a bit of an under statement! Come to find out Alexis’s husbands birthday was on this very day and she wanted to be able to surprise him with his « lost » ring and she told me later that it was amazing! How I thank God for allowing me to be used to be a help and a blessing to this dear young couple!

Lost diamond engagement ring in car, Sanford Florida, found by Florida Ring Finder Mike McInroe

Sanford Florida resident Nadja texted me about a lost diamond engagement ring lost in a car and asked if I could help her. Here is her story. « Hi Mike! I found your number on theringfinders.com website and wanted to inquire about your services. I lost my engagement ring inside my car. I think it must have slipped down between the seats. We tried taking the seats out but came up with nothing. I see you mostly do grass, sand and water searches but am wondering if you are able to look in a car? This happened a few years ago in our 2011 VW Jetta. I was sitting in the back seat and I had the cup holder partition down and I was fiddling with my ring and it popped off of my finger and all I remember was it sounded like it hit something plastic and then it just disappeared! We pulled off the road to look for it but we could not find it. It wasn’t on the seat nor on the floor anywhere! We have searched several times over the years but have had no success. We are planning to donate the car this Friday since we do not use it anymore and I just wanted to give it one more try before we donate it. Just so I know I have tried all our options. I’ve always felt like it is somewhere in a crevice! »

I arrived the following day with my bag of supplies and listened to Nadja explain just what happened. I thought maybe her ring went down one of the air vents under the front seat or possibly slipped down along the front seat cracks in the carpet. Then a closer look at the cup holder arm that comes out of the back seat revealed an opening to the trunk. So I proceeded to remove everything in the trunk and searched every possible place where a small ring could hide and as I looked closer at the cupholder arm there was a small space where it hinges and I got out my handy dandy endoscope and stuck the camera with light attachment end down into the crack and immediately saw a quarter and a nickel. I had high hopes that if there were coins and gum wrappers tucked into that small space…surely a ring could be hiding there as well. I spent a good 15 minutes pushing and probing my endoscope into the corners and at every angle possible and I soon caught a glimpse of a diamond and setting and then Nadja’s lost ring came into view. Nadja’s husband came out to check on my progress and I told him that I can see the ring but that we will have to do some dismantling and he was ready to tear the back seat all apart! I removed a few screws and the cupholder came free and then it was only a matter of reaching down and picking up Nadja’s long lost ring! The young couple was overwhelmed and their joy and happiness was evident by the smiles on their faces. What a thrill it is to be able to help people in need of theringfinders special services. Have you or someone you know lost a jewelry item in a car, in the water, in the sand or grass… recently or a long time ago? Chances are it can still be found! Give me a call or text me at 321-363-6029 and let’s talk.
