This couple was down on vacation when her Cartier Love Ring fell off in the shallow water while swimming.  They immediately called me and I was able to head over and search for her lost ring.  What should have been an easy recovery proved to be a little more difficult.  The tide had changed and when she lost it it was low tide and when I got there it was dead high tide.  What was once waist high water was now up to my neck and the waves were building.  I didn’t think I was going to find it, at this point I was on my tippy toes.  But after about 15 min I got the right signal:-). She was happy.

In the pictures above, I actually met Laura a few months ago while I was doing a recovery on the beach.  After I got out of the water she approached me and asked me about my service.  She made a little Instagram video of it, which would later turn out useful because she too would lose a ring and need my services.  This was a little different because she lost her ring at a Miami Beach waterfront restaurant.  The lobby and seating area were on beach sand and she was not able to find it once it came off and hit the sand.  She remember me and my metal detecting service and gave me a call.  I met her and her husband there the next day and I was able to find it within about 30 seconds:-).
Again, if this has happened to you, give me a call and I’ll help you find your lost item.

Lost Wedding Band Recovered in New Orleans Backyard

  • from New Orleans (Louisiana, United States)

I was contacted by a man named James in New Orleans who lost his wedding band while pulling weeds in his backyard and had no idea where it could be, since he’d been all over the yard working in different garden beds. I started the search using my Garrett AT Pro-Pointer inside all of the garden beds but had no luck, so as daylight began to fade I switched to my Nokta Makro Simplex Ultra and began systematically searching the yard. After about 45 minutes of searching total and just before it got dark, I got a clean signal and found his ring laying just outside one of the garden beds. He was incredibly relieved, and it was another great reminder of how rewarding it is to help someone recover something so meaningful.

Women’s Engagement Ring Lost in Athens, Alabama… FOUND!

  • from Huntsville (Alabama, United States)

Christina McCree – Ring Finder/Metal Detectorist for northern Alabama and southern/middle Tennessee.  Call or text ASAP, anytime 24/7 at 610-504-6135.

On Friday (November 14, 2025) evening I received a call from Stacey stating a few days prior she had lost her engagement ring while walking down the back porch.  It was cold and she was trying to put on her ring while holding her son.  The ring caught on her fingernail and flew off.  She heard it hit some leaves in the yard.  It was at night, so it was dark out and she couldn’t tell exactly where it went.  We set up a search for the next morning.

I met Stacey around 9:30 Saturday morning in Athens, Alabama.  Stacey showed me exactly how it happened.  Her husband, Victor told me the ring is sterling silver.  I grabbed my Minelab Equinox 900 and started my search.  After a few minutes, a little further from the porch and behind a tarp, I saw Stacey’s ring on the ground!  Stacey and Victor were very happy and thankful to have it back.  Stacey told me that she had searched that area, but there were a lot of leaves, so I’m sure it was completely covered up when they were looking.

Thankful and blessed for another successful recovery!  Until the next one, please take care and God bless…

Zack could not find his wedding ring and tried looking with a rented metal detector and still come up empty handed. He was 99% sure he lost it in his yard somewhere while doing yard work earlier that day. He had planted some small ornamental bushes and laid down new mulch and even had about 10 medium bags of left over dirt that he wanted to dispose of later but the thought of his ring being out in his yard somewhere made him quite anxious. Later that evening Zack went online and found theringfinders.com and gave me a call. I met him the next day and decided to start my search exactly where he started working the day before. His yard and newly planted bushes were neat and tidy and as I moved on to the 2nd area I noticed he had laid out the bags of extra dirt on the brick driveway so I decided to scan them. Each bag was tied up and on the last bag I got a faint signal. I flipped the bag over and immediately got a solid gold like signal and it was only a matter of sticking my pin pointer into the dirt and the picture shows what was hidden inside. Zack was thrilled and could not believe what just happened.

How can I help you find something that you lost? Call or text me at 321-363-6029 today!

Washed Away the Soap and the Sparkle

  • from Kilgore (Texas, United States)

On Saturday Tori decided her German Shepherd needed a bath. As she finished she noticed her wedding rings were gone. She immediately started backtracking. Did it come off while using the hose or the blower drying her dog? With no luck finding her rings her husband bought a metal detector on his way home from work. He read the instructions and watched a few YouTube videos. They both search until midnight with no luck. Tori decided to try a search online and came across The Ring Finders website and texted me. Just so happens I was off and with in one hour of receiving her text I was headed to try and find her rings. After arriving we spent a few minutes going over where the washing took place. To our surprise I found her rings in less then fifteen minutes. A day with so much anxiety ended on a high note.

Missing wedding band found in Yadkinville, NC

  • from Winston-Salem (North Carolina, United States)

Sunday morning assignment:

10:22am I received the following message…
« I located your information through Ring Finders and would like your help in locating my husband’s titanium wedding band.  It slipped off of his finger into our yard yesterday and we have been looking to no avail.  We live In Yadkinville and hope that you are able to help us find his ring. »

11:32am I spoke with Sue whom was able to provide detailed information that her husband had worked in the yard on Saturday, ending by washing his hands beside their home.  He shook his hands to dry them and immediately realized his wedding band slipped off.  Sue said they searched and raked the immediate area until after dark with negative results.  Recently moving to North Carolina she advised they had a trip planned to visit the Baltimore Estate and that her husband had said he feels naked as he has not been without his wedding band since they married.  In hopes to find a solution she searched the internet for « how to find ring » and discovered The Ring Finders website and contacted me being her closest resource.  I let her know I was in the next county and would be glad to assist them and would arrive after lunch.

2:00pm I texted Sue and let her know I was en-route and would arrive in 15 minutes.

2:18pm arrived and met with Sue and husband whom escorted me to the location of the loss. They walked through the series of events including how he was standing when shaking his hands and the direction of the thud sound.  I retrieved my equipment and began a scan of the area.  The area did have many iron signals however I located the ring within a few minutes.  Recovered only 4-5 feet from where he was standing and immediately in the area they searched previously.

The smiles on both of their faces cannot be described other than to say they mirrored those of my grandchildren at Christmas.   Thank you Sue for allowing me the opportunity to assist you and your husband.

Lost Wedding Rings Recovered at Carpinteria State Beach – Dave The RingFinder Strikes Again!
Early Sunday morning, Alesha texted me in a panic—she’d lost her platinum wedding rings while camping with family at Carpinteria State Beach. She’d safely tucked them in her pocket near the firepit, but when heading back to the van, they were gone. Another detectorist had already spent 30 minutes searching the campsite and found nothing—but Alesha was certain they were there. I arrived ready to grid the firepit area (notorious for metal trash like pull tabs and bottle caps). Platinum rings give a specific tone and ID on my detector, so I knew exactly what to hunt for, even masked by junk. Just 3 minutes in, a solid tone rang out—I scooped with my CKG sand scoop, and her diamond engagement ring popped out! Cheers erupted from the growing crowd of campers. Pressure on, I switched angles, hunting east-to-west, then 90 degrees north-to-south. A clipped tone with a 10 ID led to the scoop—and there was her wedding band, tangled with a pull tab! Alesha left Carpinteria State Beach overjoyed, heading home to San Diego with both rings back on her finger.
