Lost Gold Wedding Band at Makapuu Beach Park…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began when I got a text from Jimmy who was on vacation from Vancouver BC Canada.  The text said,  » I could use your services. »  I immediately called and Jimmy told me while shaking out his towel he had forgotten he had put the ring there and it got flung out into the sand and disappeared.  I told Jimmy I’d grab my gear and meet him in the parking lot of Makapuu Beach park.  When I arrived 20 minutes later Jimmy took me down to the area the ring was lost.  I could see in the sand where he had been raking his fingers in hopes of finding the ring.  I fired up the Manticore and started a grid search.  First target was a bottle cap.  It sounded soooo good!  Next target sounded even better and was a perfect dot on the 2D display.  In one scoop there was Jimmy’s ring.  I could see the look of relief on his face.  He said, « Thank you for saving my vacation! »  Aloha to Jimmy!

Metal detector in Oceanside combs the beach to find buried Gold ring,IPhone,Keys,Wallets all in a purse!

  • from Carlsbad (California, United States)

TheRingFinders metal detector service in San Diego helped find a buried purse full of sentimental & valuable items at Oceanside beach. WHO Ya gonna call? 760 889 2751

Over this summer I have helped many people find lost jewelry along with other items at the drop of a hat. From the cry’s of help to a matter of urgent timing of finding a lost diamond wedding ring before it gets found by a local hobbyist detecting….Or even worse…A sand sifting machine!

This call actually came in from a security guard during a Surf event who was trying to help a marine couple at the beach find a purse they buried before going out to the water. I live nearby the Oceanside pier so I dropped my hat and was there quickly.

First thing to my amazement was a large crater hole maybe 25X25’ they had dug & sifted through frantically for hours!  I could definitely tell by that amount of work they really needed my help. We all have probably lost a wallet,Keys, phone,Ring but If you can only imagine losing everything important you have all at once! Then he says the most important item is his family heirloom Gold ring that was handed down.

So off I went swinging my metal detector around the outer perimeter of the crater then as soon as I made a lap and switched to the inner part I received a familiar large overloading signal …Sure enough it was it & I was able to save the night once again!

Sorry I did not ask for her to open/empty her purse for the standard photo shoot recovery due to privacy of other personal belongings.

Lost Ring throwing football – FOUND in Gulf Shores

  • from Orange Beach (Alabama, United States)

I had the pleasure of helping out Joe Hess the other day. Joe and his family were down visiting Gulf Shores from their home in Indiana. Joe had been on the beach throwing football with his son when his wedding ring came flying off and quickly buried somewhere in the sand. Joe and his wife have been married 20 years so everyone began looking for it to no avail. With the tide rising in the afternoon they found me online and had me come over from Pensacola. My wife and I loaded up and quickly made our way over and met Joe on the beach. I started looking in the area he thought it was and quickly realized this was going to be a bigger search than Joe thought. My wonderful wife went to the car to get my biggest coil to cover more ground while I asked Joe more questions. Joe ended up telling me that he was using his left hand to throw the ball because his right was hurt and I worried that he may have flicked his hand awkwardly towards the water. I changed coils quickly and started a search where the water was coming in with the tide. I made one pass and as I got halfway back in the edge of the surf I heard a really deep tone. I took a huge scoop and drug it up on the sand to be safe. As soon as I broke open the sand with my hand I saw Joe’s gold band and turned around with a big smile. I’m so glad that Joe called quickly and we found it even quicker. That ring was too important to lose to that incoming tide. Congrats Joe!

Rouge Wave Washes Rings Off Beach Towel into Sand.. Emerald Bay, Laguna Beach, CA.

  • from Newport Beach (California, United States)

I can help you or someone you know to find a lost ring or other important piece of jewelry. Call or text .. Stan the Metal Detector Man .. 949-500-2136

*** Ashley’s friend called me called me after Ashley had her two rings washed off beach towel by a rouge wave. The friends were in Laguna Beach, CA. at Emerald Cove when the rings were lost in the sand. I was able to meet them soon after they called.

I couldn’t believe how this happened. This crazy wave came up just the one time, surprising everyone on the beach. Anyway they had a very good idea of where the two rings could be. I was looking forward to a quick recovery. The silver ring was easy but the gold ring didn’t show for about 15 minutes. It was actually buried in the sand next to a spray can of sun block. I didn’t take time to move the sunblock spay can until my second pass.

The rings were very sentimental to Ashley and it was a real treat to see the happiness of having the rings back in her possession. We also got the attention of all the beach goers as the beach was elbow to elbow with people. RingFinder to the rescue.

Available to help you now ..Call now, I can answer any questions you may have on how this service works. Don’t waste time renting or using a metal that you don’t have experience using.. Call or Text Stan ..949-500-2136  … I WILL TRY ANYWHERE

Lost – Men’s Gold Wedding Ring, Daytona Beach Shores, Florida – FOUND!!!

  • from New Smyrna Beach (Florida, United States)

Wednesday evening, I got a call from a fellow ringfinder.  He asked if I could handle a call for him.  I said, of course!  I called Charles and asked him where and when he lost it and set a time for us to meet before low tide the next day.  I brought my friend Brian who is just getting into metal detecting.

Charles took us down to the beach and showed us the section of beach where he had lost the ring, but the tide was still high, and the wave action was much greater than we expected.  Nevertheless, Brian and I started grid searching the area.  I started about waist-high in the water.  Brian started from the high tide line.

I had an obligation that I had to attend to, so I left the search area for a while.  About an hour after that Brian had exhausted the search area.  He decided to go back over some of the high tide out of the water area.  His first target was iron.  Next a solid hit on his Deus II.  It was the ring.  Great work Brian!

There was dancing on the beach as the happy couple recovered their precious ring.

Bay Area Ring Finders: Brendon Chapman… Metal Detecting Service/Call ASAP     925-580-2590

Saedah was in an obvious panic when she lost her diamond engagement/wedding ring off the deck and into the lake at a Bay Area restaurant!  She admitted to locating THERINGFINDERS.COM website and proceeding to contact just about every member in the Bay Area for help.  Once word got to me, the idea of performing only my 2nd request for a water recovery this year was appealing.  It was late in the evening and I wouldn’t be available until mid-day the following afternoon, but I agreed to sign on to the task.

The details as to where the ring fell into the lake were really good, however the depth was left a bit ambiguous.  Not knowing this piece of the puzzle, I packed an enormous amount of equipment for the recovery.  When I showed up to the location I used a tape measure to check the depth of the water near the site Saedah noted the ring was lost.  It was just under 5 feet in depth but dropped off steep.  I decided to make an attempt without a ton of gear and took just a scoop and the Equinox 800.  I located a CLOSED for CONSTRUCTION boat dock to access the water from and slid into the water.  Making it half the distance to the location of the missing diamond ring, I turned back to grab a mask and snorkel.

Once in the location underneath where Saedah and friends were sitting prior to the loss of the ring, it took only seconds to recover it.  We had MADE THE RECOVERY!!!

As I emerged from the lake with my gear and the missing ring, patrons of the restaurant clapped and congratulated me.  The manager stated that a lot of phones, rings, eating utensils and other things often end up in the lake along the deck, but this was the first time he had heard of anything being recovered.  I sent Saedah a picture of the ring and then called… she was overjoyed that the ring was found and safe and set out to meet me at the location.  This was an excellent way to start the weekend!

I wanted to thank Saedah for trusting me with the recovery of her meaningful and precious ring.  And also to all of the other Ring Finders who helped point her in my direction!  I consider this a win for all of us, Thank you!

The boat dock from which I entered the water and the deck the missing ring was lost off of.

Freshly recovered from the lake!

The recovered ring!

Diamond Engagement Ring Lost On Beach Near Santa Monica Pier .. Found and Returned

  • from Newport Beach (California, United States)

I can help you or answer any questions you may have on how this metal detecting service works .. Call or Text .. Stan the Metal Detector man .. mobile metal detecting for you .. 949-500-2136

*** I got a text from Anthony about an gold diamond engagement ring lost at Santa Monica beach near the pier. It was already 8pm almost too late to make the hour drive to that beach. I texted him back saying, it was important to discuss the circumstances of the loss as soon as possible. That beach is heavily hunted by metal detectorists especially on weekends.

We were able to determine the ring was definitely on Maria’s towel. They were on their way home when Maria realized she had not put the engagement ring back on her finger. Many times I will try a search without the people can’t meet me at the beach. The best information he gave me was that they were not sitting on the towel line. probably the most hunted zones on the beach. I told Anthony that our odds would be better if they could meet me tomorrow, Sunday morning and he agreed.

I was on the beach a day break to start gridding the search area. The Santa Monica  beach crew only pulled a grooming rake with a tractor that morning. Other beaches run their Beach King sifting machine everyday in the summer.

The ring had not shown after an hour of running a tight grid pattern using the verbal directions given to me on our call last night. Then Anthony and Maria walked up to me on the beach. They pointed out a trash can that they were near. I was almost there but they we’re actually way back from the towel line. I moved over about 10 or 15 yards and shortly after starting a new grid pattern I got the signal. The signal is a solid tone in my headphones that happens when a white gold diamond engagement ring is under my detector coil. And one dig with my sand scoop, revealed Maria’s awesome engagement ring. A happy couple drove home with the ring they thought was lost forever.

Lost Wedding Ring Found in Wooster, Ohio!

  • from Wooster (Ohio, United States)

On Tuesday, October 10th I received a text from Rick in Wooster, Ohio who said he found my name on The Ring Finders. He said he believed he lost his wedding ring while planting garlic in his garden on Sunday and asked me to give him a call, if I thought I could help. I called him that afternoon, he gave me all the details and we set up a time the next day for me to come find his ring. On Wednesday, when we pulled into Rick’s driveway, he was ready for us! We exchanged introductions as we pulled out our gear and within a few minutes we were heading across the lawn to his garden. He showed us exactly which rows of his garden he had been working on when he believed he lost the ring and we got to work! Rick stood off to the side of the garden as we worked our way down the rows. The first few hits were bits of scrap metal, which I held up for Rick to see before dropping in my pouch and then, as I turned around to start down the third row, BAM! There it was, that perfect signal! I bent down and plucked Rick’s ring from the soil and held it out to him exclaiming, « and here it is! » Rick was so excited and couldn’t believe how quickly we found it. (The entire hunt took less than five minutes!) As I handed him his ring, he asked if he could give me hug. « Absolutely! », I said. We chatted for a few minutes, snapped a few pictures and he told us we’d gotten him out of the doghouse! As metal detectorists, these are the moments we live for!

Jorge called Stan the Metal Detector Man member of TheRingFinders.. He needed help to find a very sentimental gold pendant lost in the sand.. if you need help call or text Stan ..949-500-2136

*** Jorge lost a gold cross pendant in the sand at 1000 Steps Beach which is in the city of Laguna Beach. Someone on the beach suggested that he contact me using TheRingfinders website. He called me telling me what happened.

I told him, I could be at the location in less than an hour. Our chances were good if he stayed there to get me in the general area of the loss.Traffic was not bad which was a good thing.

After descending a couple hundred steps, I met Jorge at the volleyball court. He showed me where his neckless had broken. After a few swings of my detector I got a faint signal. Put the sand scoop to retrieve the signal. BOOM! There was Jorge’s very sentimental gold cross, that had been given to him many years before by his mother.

It was a quick recovery and I was happy to be able to help him. It was a bit tough to climb those 222 steps to the top of the cliff.
