  • from Seaside Park (New Jersey, United States)
Got a call from Camille Saturday evening. She had lost her bangle bracelet, but wasn’t sure where. She did have a picture from the night before, which was taken on Brant Beach (LBI) NJ. We figured that was a good place to start. They marked the location in google maps and sent it to me. I arrived at the beach ASAP and after about 1 1/2 hrs. I had no luck finding it. She came down to look where I had been, and we made a few adjustments to the search location. Within 15 min. I had one half of this beautiful Cartier love bracelet in my scoop, and about 10 min later both half’s were safely in my pouch. I walked up to the house to meet her, and told her she wasn’t in the spot she believed she was. With that said, Camille looked down and said, « I guess you had no luck ». I replied, « you were 10′ over » and handed her the bracelet. What a weekend, her birthday was Saturday, her lost bracelet was found, and today her grandson is expected to arrive!!!!!!!!!.

Got a call today from Aubreigh. She was at the lake on Wednesday and somehow she lost her extremely sentimental necklace that was given to her by her late mother. The area where their blanket was is where she felt it was definitely lost. Sure enough, within 30 seconds if got a scratchy tone, moved the sand with my foot, and there it was. The look on her face was priceless. She was by far the youngest person I have had call, and my gosh, so professional, and determined.

He and his wife searched for a while and decided to call in a professional metal detector. He had the spot marked perfectly, and a few swings later I had the ring. WELL, while cleaning off the sand I dropped it and had to find it again. Much to my surprise, it was 7-8″ down. Just shows you how deep they can go.

Got a call today from Barbara, she was pretty upset after losing her beautiful wedding.  We talked for a bit and determined it must be right around her car in the driveway, hiding somewhere in the small stones in the driveway. I told her not to move the car, and don’t walk around in the stones which could cause possible damage to her ring. After just a short while the ring was back on her finger.

After setting up their chairs and umbrella, Sam took off her shorts, placed them with her stuff, and took a walk down by the water. It was then she realized her beautiful platinum engagement ring was gone. She quickly went back and looked in her pocket where she had placed it when applying sun block, back by at the car, before heading to the beach. It was not there and she was devastated. • from Seaside Park (New Jersey, United States)

Curtis called asking if I could do a recovery in the lagoon behind his house. After going over some details, I told him I would be there soon. He was playing with the dog in the lagoon when his paw accidently broke the chain, and the cross dropped to the bottom before he could grab it. In almost neck deep water I got a faint signal, and sure enough, that was it.

Lost wedding band, Lavallette NJ. July 2022

  • from Seaside Park (New Jersey, United States)

Got a call from Ashley yesterday (Saturday) about her husbands lost ring. She explained how Jeff was throwing a football around the tide line when the ring flew off his hand and dropped into the wet sand. After talking a bit, we decided low tide was so late we would wait till the AM low tide to do the recovery, the surf was fairly calm, so it wouldn’t move to much. Jeff did an outstanding job marking the exact location of the ring, which is paramount when doing recoveries. A few swings later the ring was in the scoop.
