Stefania called me to help find her husband’s lost wedding band on the beach in Wildwood Crest, NJ. They left the beach a few hours prior and realized it was missing. She explained that Chris put the ring in the chair and figured it must have fallen out when she packed up. I met the family on the beach in the general area and began the search. The ring didn’t turn up in the search area, so the only option was to look where a nearby couple was sitting. The couple was kind to move their belongings
and it wound up being under their chair! Stefania and Chris were excited to get the ring back and resume the remainder of their vacation in Wildwood Crest, NJ.

Vito was vacationing in Stone Harbor, NJ when he lost a ring that is very sentimental to him. He was referred to my FaceBook page Ring Finders South Jersey by several people after he posted that it was lost. I talked to him about it, and he wasn’t sure if the ring was lost in the ocean or up in the dry sand. That night I searched the dry sand, but the gold ring wasn’t there. I went out at the next low tide and searched from waist-deep water to the shoreline. The search area was quite broad and I had to expand the grid area a few times. Finally, the metal detector gave me a nice deep signal. I dug into the sand and pulled up the ring! It was buried about 9 inches under the sand. I met up with Vito to return the ring and he was thrilled to have his grandfather’s ring back.

Kaleigh realized she didn’t have her jewelry just as she was about to walk off the beach for the day. She spent the day with some friends relaxing on the beach in Avalon, NJ. Earlier, she put her jewelry in her chair but forgot they were in there before packing up her belongings. She immediately walked back to where she was sitting and saw the jewelry. It was all there except her Claddagh ring. The lost ring was sentimental because it was something she brought back from a trip to Ireland. We met up the next morning and had a general idea of the location. I started the search with the metal detector and the Claddagh ring was found! It was a great start to the day in Avalon, New Jersey!

White Gold Wedding/Engagement Band Set-Found!

Ryan contacted me several weeks ago about his wife’s white gold wedding/engagement band set she had lost in a grassy area of the apartments where they lived in Chattanooga.  Because of his busy work schedule he had a difficult time getting the search arranged.  I think he had actually purchased an off-the-shelf metal detector at a local store, but was apparently overwhelmed with the large amounts of metallic trash in the ground.  We finally managed to arrange a search on June 9th.  I arrived at the location at 7:15 PM on June 9th.  I started my search as soon as I got the story from him, because we didn’t have much daylight left.  Around 35 minutes later I found the engagement band portion totally hidden below the grass around four feet from the base of a large tree.  It took me right at an hour more to find the wedding band portion, and it was about twenty feet from where I found the other half.  It ended up being in an area outside of the original search zone.  The grass had been cut, so maybe that’s how it ended up being over there.  This portion of the ring was in full view of anyone walikg by, so it’s amazing nobody had seen it.

Topsail Beach Ring Lost In Surf Found By Crystal Coast Ring Finders

Doug and his wife Kim were spending Father’s Day with their kids at Topsail Beach, NC.  Doug was in the surf using a boogie/body board and upon arrival back to their beach setup, Doug removed the tight wrist band of the boogie board.  It was shortly after that he noticed his wedding band was missing.  After the family searched the beach, Doug called Crystal Coast Ring Finders.  I headed their way as soon as possible.  Upon arrival, the tide had subsided and after searching around the beach chairs, a search began in the wet sand and surf.  Less than 10 minutes later, Doug’s wedding band gave a very strong signal and was pulled from the beach.  It was a hot day and I think they were very happy to finally leave the beach and possibly a meal.

Gold Wedding Band Lost Off Atlantic, NC Dock Found In 3 Foot Waters

Dillon had just returned from a fishing trip and was in the process of cleaning today’s catch.  He decided it was best to move his wedding band to his middle finger for a better fit.  That’s when his ring slipped from his hands and bounced off of the dock into the murky waters down below.  Dillon told me he tried to locate his ring using a dive mask in the 3-4 foot waters but it wasn’t nearly clear enough to be successful.   After getting Dillon’s call, I loaded my gear and headed his way.  Dillon gave a very precise area to search and after clearing a large metal object his ring was lifted from the muddy water below.

Heartbroken Girl’s Fear Is Replaced With Tears Of Joy After Lost Ring Is Found

Katelyn was relaxing, just before sunset, on the beach with her fiancée, Brianna.  Katelyn has placed the first ring anyone has ever gave her on a bag they brought along.  She thought it was put in the bag.  After they left, they realized the ring was missing.  Katelyn sent a plea for help and discovered, through social media, Crystal Coast Ring Finder (The Ring Finders member).

I had a very good understanding of the area and knew exactly where to begin my search.  Katelyn’s very sentimental ring was the first target that sent an alert to my Minelab CTX-3030.  I made arrangements to meet Katelyn after she got off work.

Katelyn has had a rough run of luck lately with numerous hardships and relocating to North Carolina from Pennsylvania.  This ring was part of her strength.  She mentioned online « So when I lost it at the beach I lost a part of myself too. »  I was very happy to bring the ring back to her so the ring can still be part of future stories and hopefully a very happy future!

Dave spent the day doing yard work, cleaning the yard after the winter. At some point he discovered his wedding ring was missing. Telling his wife, she said are we still married?

Tylisha realized she lost her engagement ring, wedding band and another ring after she returned home from a day at the beach with her family in Ocean City, NJ. At some point during the day, she took them off and set them on her lap but forgot they were there when she stood up. Sheila contacted me today about her fiancé’s chain and cross that were accidentally left on the beach in Ventnor, NJ.  The surf was rough yesterday, so he decided to take it off before going into the ocean.  Forgetting that it was in the side pocket of the beach chair, the jewelry dropped into the sand when packing up. They didn’t realize it was missing until after they got home and were extremely upset because it is very sentimental.  I met with the couple on the beach and they gave me the approximate location where it could have been lost.  Something in the distance caught my eye as I was walking around detecting.  It glistened for a second, so I decided to walk toward it.  It turned out to be the edge of the cross peeking out of the sand! It’s a great feeling when you find what you’re looking for, but it’s extra special when you recover something so sentimental.
