Lost Property Markers (Irons) Found in Grosse Pointe Park Michigan

  • from Detroit (Michigan, United States)

Defining the Boundaries……

….Is something all of us have had to deal with all our lives, from childhood when our parents set boundaries and now as adults where we set boundaries on finances, who we are friends with, and how much we want to deal with any situation and so on. Defining boundaries also creates an atmosphere of mutual understanding by showing respect for ourselves and gaining the respect from people in general. When John called me, he discussed his interest in locating his property markers to help him define the boundaries of his land before he started to trim some trees. Using my magnetic locator metal detector, we did some quick measurements to get us in the area for each concealed property iron. It was quick work with the magnetic locator to reveal each iron. Now with these fine lines clearly defined, it’s up to John and each neighbor to honor that boundary.

Snowball Fight, Expensive Ring Lost… and Found!

If you lost jewelry or valuables – call me right away! 646-235-8797

Christmas snowball fights are all fun and games—until someone loses a Cartier Panthère ring in the backyard! That’s exactly what happened to Chloe while she was tossing snowballs with (and at!) her cousin on Christmas Day.

Chloe and her dad, Jack, spent three days braving the cold, searching high and low in the snow for her stunning 18K yellow gold ring, but it was nowhere to be found. That’s when Jack decided to call in some reinforcements—me!

On December 27, I arrived, ready to turn their snowy backyard into a treasure map. With a little patience and the help of my trusty metal detector, we struck gold (literally) in just 30 minutes!

The moment we found it, the joy and relief on their faces said it all. Chloe got her beautiful Cartier Panthère ring back, and the snowball fight story gained a happy ending everyone will remember for years to come.

Moral of the story? Snowball fights are better without losing jewelry, but if you do, The Ring Finders are here to help!

Gold & Multi Diamond Ring Lost at Christmas, Found in West Kelowna

  • from Kelowna (British Columbia, Canada)

Danielle was visiting her Parents in West Kelowna over the Christmas Period. Two days before Christmas, before she entered her parents house she shook her hands to get the rain off, as she did she she felt her 14k multi diamond ring come of by a tree. They all spent three days searching for it, to no avail. Dec 26th she found my services on Google, and gave me a call. I had time before dinner so I responded right away, Danielle found me on Google, however it took 45 minutes to find their location as Google was out of date. Danielle showed me the location by the tree, not sure if it bounced off the tree or not. It did bounce off and landed in the long grass around the tree, which made it an easy search for a Metal Detector. Her Happy Christmas was restored.

Lost White Gold Wedding Band at Fort Kamehameha Beach…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began when I got a text from Amanda who lives on Hickam AFB with her family.  Amanda found me on the Ring Finders!  So, earlier this morning as she applied sun tan lotion she removed her white gold wedding band and placed it on a beach chair for safe keeping.  At some point it went missing from there and when I arrived I could see finger raking marks in the sand where they had searched.  A few people on the beach were somewhat in the area and they kindly moved their gear so I could hunt without interference.  After firing up the Manticore I detected a steel pipe running all the way through the search area so I was happy when the first target a piece of aluminum came through strongly.  I started on the high side and worked low.  A few more junk targets and then I got a nice shallow #15 on the VDI and I told Amanda, « this sounds real good. »  Sure enough their was the white gold wedding band in the scoop.  Early Christmas present!  Aloha to Amanda!

LOST 14k WHITE GOLD ENGAGEMENT RING IN HICKORY, NC…… FOUND!!!!

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)

Received a text last night from a young man whose mom had lost her wedding rings while picking up leaves and tossing them over the fence. The son had found the wedding band by sifting through the leaves, but was unable to locate the engagement ring.

They had been on her finger for nearly 51 years!

I showed up at 8:00 am and the search began. After an hour we hadn’t found it yet, so we went inside to talk to his mom and get a better idea of where she was and what she had been doing prior to losing it. Turns out we were in the only area where she was tossing leaves. I suggested we go back and try again. After about another 30 mins, I decided to kick over the sifted leaves to move them more out of the way, away from the fence and I got a hit! The ring was under 2-3 feet of sifted leaves and I missed it the first 8 times because I didn’t move the leaves. It was found 3 feet from the wedding band near the fence line!

Needless to say it was a very Merry Christmas for the whole family as they both were back where they belong!

Lost Koa Inlaid Zirconium Wedding Ring at Ulua Lagoon Ko Olina…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring fing began Thursday 12 December when I got a call from AJ from Eagle River, Alaska who lost his Zirconium, Koa Inlaid Wedding Band at Ulua Lagoon Ko Olina while picking up his gear to run for cover under a tree while it started to rain.  Somewhere along that route his ring went missing.  He was leaving that day but gave me a map of the area.  I went Saturday morning and during the vast grid search AJ’s ring popped out of the dry sand in front of a tree near the grass.  It was dead center in the area he drew.  I texted him the good news and the ring finally arrived in Alaska today as you can see the smile on his face.  Aloha to AJ!

Lost Platinum & Diamonds Engagement Ring at Paradise Cove Beach…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

Paradise Cove 121924 MOV_0780

This ring find began when I got a voicemail from Liz saying that Aloha Security told her I might be able to locate her Mom’s Platinum & Diamonds Engagement Ring in shallow water at Paradise Cove Beach.  I told her I had a hunt in Waikiki I had to finish up and then I would head right over to Paradise Cove.  When I got to Paradise Cove Liz’s mom Debbie, from NYC, was waiting at the lagoon to show me the area to hunt.  She told me she was throwing a football with her grandchildren and when she reached to catch the football her engagement ring flew off into shallow water.  I walked out to the furtherest distance Debbie was and started a grid search back towards shore.  On about the third leg I got a nice 27-32 hit on the Manticore and on the second scoop there was Debbie’s amazing ring in the scoop.  She was so thankful and I think she was about to cry.  Many people had looked for her but it was buried.  Another vacation saved!  Aloha to Debbie and Family!

I received a call from Erik asking if I was available to help in finding a ring lost in the sand at the beach. I was, and let him know that I could be there soon. We arranged to meet there so he could show me where to look.

When I arrived I met Erik and his girlfriend Rowan, and they explained that Rowan had removed her jewelry in order to go out in the surf, but when getting ready put her jewelry back on, she found that one of her rings was missing. She told me how the ring had been in the family for numerous generations, and was given to her by her mother, so the sentimentality of the ring was strong. She said she was on vacation from Vermont, and was fearful the ring would be lost forever. I could see in the sand their search area, and began my search at the edge of it. I received a couple of signals, but the items were so small they fell through the scoop. Then right in the middle of their search area I received a strong signal, dug, and had Rowan’s ring. I called them over to let them know it was found, and she was very happy to know she would be able to go back home with her family treasure.

4 CT DIAMOND RING RECOVERED FROM CAR USING ENDOSCOPE RETURNED TO OWNER..PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL.

  • from Ponte Vedra Beach (Florida, United States)

Sometimes metal detectors can’t be used due to other metals in the vicinity. In such cases, we can opt for visual searches or utilize specialized tools like endoscopes for small, confined areas that aren’t visible to the naked eye.  In this particular case, an endoscope was necessary for the search. If you need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

William called to inform me that while driving with his wife, she expressed concern about her wedding ring feeling loose. She effortlessly removed the ring and handed it to him. However, the situation took a turn for the worse when he somehow managed to drop the ring inside the car during the drive.  Despite his certainty that the ring was in the car, he spent three days searching without any success.

Desperate to find the ring, William took the car to a Mercedes dealership and left it there for an additional three days. He instructed the dealership to remove the seats to search for the ring. Unfortunately, the dealership was unable to locate the diamond ring.

Concerned that the dealership might have stolen the ring, I agreed to search for it using some specialized tools I had successfully used in the past. The search took over an hour, but we were able to locate the ring wedged behind a small metal bracket in the seat mechanism. As seen in the photo, the ring was in a challenging location.

We were all relieved that the ring was found and returned, and now back on his wife’s finger where it belonged.
