Diego was at the beach with his friends last night throwing a ball around when his ring came off his finger and ended up buried in the sand. They tried their best to find it but didn’t have any luck.

Diego met me at the beach this morning before the parking lot was full of 4th of July revelers and showed me the area of his loss. I was able to find his ring in about 10 minutes. Have a happy 4th Diego.

18k Clemson Ring Lost Throwing a Football at the High Tide Line, Found and Returned North Myrtle Beach SC

  • from North Myrtle Beach (South Carolina, United States)

I got a call from Brent, who was referred by Joe Denton, asking if I could help find a lost Clemson Ring. He said his friend, Ed, whose daughter Natalie’s friend Britta had lost her ring within the last 10 minutes Knowing it was high tide, I asked him how deep in the water Britta was, and he replied she was just getting her feet wet. I got the location and told him I’d be there in 10-15 minutes. This being a Saturday and 4th of July weekend the traffic was very busy.

I called Brent when I got close and he was waiting at the beach access for me. As we walked out on the beach he directed me to where Natalie and Britta were standing. I introduced myself to both of them and then got more of the story. Britta showed me about where she was standing when she threw the football, and Natalie showed me about where she was standing to catch it. Thankfully, neither one was in the ocean, but Natalie had been standing close to a buried storm drain pipe. The search area was no more than 20 yards long. Someone had mentioned the Clemson ring was 18k gold, so I knew what number I was looking for on the Equinox 800. I started my grid search parallel to the beach. My fourth line I hit it, a booming 9 VDI. I just looked up at Britta and smiled, I don’t think she realized what the look was for. I took a scoop of sand and dumped it on the beach, moved the sand with my foot and saw the ring. Somebody else in her group saw it about the same time and reached down and snatched it up and handed it to me. Big smiles, a few hugs, maybe a couple of tears, and Britta had her college treasure back on her finger.

Thanks to all for trusting me to help find Britta’s ring.

Britta – I wish you all the best on your future endeavors.

Lost white gold wedding ring Spokane Valley, FOUND!

  • from Spokane (Washington, United States)

After a few closure searches a Ring Finder might be thinking he is on a losing streak. However today my losing streak stopped. Casey, Stefanie’s husband called me this morning with a request to find his wife’s lost wedding ring. Casey explained to me that the ring was lost in their car. I asked my normal questions of did she feel it come off, and did you look for it. All answers checked out, so I headed over to their house. Casey went over the whole scenario of how the ring came off and it involved a crying baby, some hand lotion and a quick reach to retrieve an item out of the back seat. So in the back seat is where I started my search. I looked up, down, left, right, up, down, left, right, and repeat. Your eyes are the detector when you are searching in a car. I cleared three seats and was just finishing the fourth when I had that moment. A Ring Finders recovery moment. I looked at Casey and said « I think I see it ». Casey was in shock and disbelief. So I asked him does it have two bands and he confirmed that what I was seeing was it. I told Casey that the ring was just under the left hand side 3rd row seat on the frame rail. However, the ring was sitting under the ledge of the rail. My fat fingers couldn’t grab it so we were forced to unbolt the back seat. After removing the two bolts and lifting up the seat I said, « I have to take a picture ». Because the ring was sitting on the rail just waiting to be picked up. After Casey went and got Stefanie I was able to place the ring in her hand. Her mourning tears dried instantly and their happy smiles came back. Not even a car can stop a Ring Finders happy ending. Thank you Casey and Stefanie for trusting The Ring Finders to find your lost ring.

Casey&Stephen smiles

Lost White Gold Ring Found In Chesterfield Township Michigan

  • from Detroit (Michigan, United States)

A Widows Tale….

…..It had been only 6 weeks since Dottie’s husband of 40 years passed away when his ring she wore in remembrance fell off her finger in the yard doing landscaping. When he was alive it had come off a few times but they were always able to locate it. She thought the ring was either silver or white gold. She borrowed a toy type metal detector and it only augmented the frustration of the massive amount of signals coming in with no way of interpretation. On site she showed me the areas she was where she felt it came off. She went into the house to tend to a few chores thinking I may be awhile. Setting up my MXT metal detector for turn on and go made short work of the loss despite the huge amount of iron signals coming thru. Just a few feet away from the flower beds I got a white gold signal that overloaded the detector sensors! Scraping aside a little dirt and grass revealed the missing ring! As she peeked out the back door I waved for her to come out. Bewildered at what I was pointing at she stooped down for a closer look and couldn’t believe that it was found! Seeing Dottie reach down to pick up the ring and the expression on her face was priceless. Providing closure for her was a great feeling as now she can continue her grieving process in her own way, knowing the ring is where she needs it to be.

James 1:27: Pure and undefiled belief is this, help widows in distress and keep oneself truthful in your actions.

Lost Gold Earring Found In Southfield Michigan

  • from Detroit (Michigan, United States)

Flipped Out…..

……Is how gymnast Tessa reacted after getting home and discovering one of her sentimental earrings came off after a practice session with her friend at a city park. She pondered if she would ever see the earring again. After she did a layout and an arched body position, flexibility was achieved and what started off as a few pirouettes escalated into Olympic order competition. Cutting to the chase, Tessa executed a handspring, followed with a twist, flip and a flic-flac then reversing directions to the starting point. Moving to another location in the park with less area she repeated the routine. On site I got a read off the other earring and checked the first location as that was where she felt the earring came off. No luck. Moving to the second location my metal detector signaled with a matching meter read. Reaching down into the grass revealed her gold earring! I said hey Tessa look here! As I pointed, she reached down and lifted her earring from the tangled grass. Completely speechless she was and couldn’t believe that it was there. Even tho the Olympics are within reach, for now this is how she has fun doing what she does and achieving personal success.

I received a text message from a young lady who said she lost her engagement ring in the water at Trout Lake, this lake was only 20 minutes from my location and I just got off of work so I went to meet her at the lake. When we met at the lake it was just after 9 PM and it was the longest day of the year so I knew if I got in the water quickly I’d be able to record this search with the light we had left. I also decided to take a silver ring with me as I knew her ring was silver with gold,  just a fake her out when I did find it. She went on to tell me it was in waist deep water and she only lost it one hour before I got there so I was very confident this ring would be found quickly.

I asked her how she heard about TheRingFinders and she told me the lifeguards gave her the number… I got into the water and within 20 minutes I found her beautiful custom Silver & Gold engagement ring. I faked her out with my silver ring and then presented her with her ring, I love surprising people and seeing the reaction!

Lost Gold « Love Conquers All » Ring at 4 Seasons Ko Olina Resort…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began Friday 25 June when I got a call from the 4 Seasons Concierge Desk asking if I could reach out to one of their guests that lost a Gold Ring in the water. They gave me the contact number and I immediately called Anna from Miami Florida who was on vacation at Ko Olina Resort and was leaving in a few hours. She lost her ring earlier in the day and had over ten other guests trying to find her « Caritas Vincit Omnia » Gold Ring in waist deep water. With that many people searching someone probably stepped on the ring and buried it deeper in the sand. Anna sent me a beach picture and circled the general location the ring fell off her finger. Saturday morning at low tide I matched her picture up with the beach and drew my grid lines in the sand. I took the Nox in the water and started working North through the grid. On about the fifth leg I got a nice « 16 » tone and in one scoop there was Anna’s stunning ring in the scoop. I went back to my car to text Anna in Miami the good news and she had already texted me « Any news? » I sent her a picture of the ring and texted, « Is that good news? » She responded, « No way, Wow thank you so much » The ring arrived today in Miami and Anna sent me the picture above. Beautiful Girl, Smile and Ring. Aloha to Anna!

Another Crystal Coast Ring Finders recovery!

Rob was trying to cheer up a toddler that had fallen and was crying.  He took a fall on the beach house deck the family was staying to help cheer her up.  Rob felt the ring slip away and caught a glimpse of it flying off of the deck.  After neighbors and family members helped search for the ring with no luck, a family member found CCRF contact information.  About an hour later, the search began with a successful recovery!  Rob told me he was heading back to Boston the very next day.

Could you imagine how this young man felt when he lost a very special gift that his father gave him, it was a gold Cartier ring. He took it off when he went swimming and put it in his pant pocket when he got out of the water and dried off he put his pants back on, when he got home he realized his ring was missing.

He returned to the beach early in the morning and saw three people metal detecting, he asked all of them if they could help and they search the area but could not find the ring. He then found TheRingFinders online and gave me a call the next day. I listen to a story and the fact that people were already searching for the ring made me believe it could’ve already been found as a lot of people metal detector the beach during the night and in the early morning hours. I explained to Alex that someone may have already found it but what I would do is come out and search just for the closure aspect of it.

I arrive to the beach approximately 24 hours after the ring was lost at around 9 PM the beach was still full of people so I could not swing a detector, I sat and waited for a while as the area starting to clear off I started to grid search, a lady came running up to me crying and asking for help,  she lost a very special bracelet, I found that within a minute or two and continued on to my search for the lost gold Cartier ring.

I searched about 75% of the area but still had 25% or more to search but too many people were still showing up to the beach so I went back to my car and slept for a little while when I woke up it was late in the evening close to 2 am in the morning and hardly anybody was on the beach. I began my search and after 30 minutes to my surprise I found his beautiful gold ring!

I got a to say I was surprised!  I think he will be when I show it to him later on in the week. I decided to text him and tell him that I couldn’t  search as much of the beach as I needed to because of the crowds of people. I told him I’m going to go back in the middle of the week to continue my search. He agreed to meet me Wednesday afternoon and that’s when I was going to surprise him with his ring.

I love hearing the stories of what these items mean to people and I’m so honoured to be able to help continue this beautiful story for this young man.
