LOST STERLING WEDDING RING SET in GOLDSBORO, NC…… FOUND!!

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)

Another successful recovery story!

Received a text on Monday asking if I could help locate two rings in their front yard. That had been lost since September 2024. I agreed to first thing Thursday morning due to my work schedule.

I drove over 2 hours again to offer an attempt to locate them. 30 mins into the search I get a hit and it was the engagement ring. Less than 2 feet the weddingg band ribgs up and BOOM just like that both sterling silver rings were found and returned!

Again, I will drive or fly anywhere to try and help someone get their priceless treasure returned!

AIRLOOM ROLEX WATCH AND GOLD RING LOST IN THE PALISADES FIRE FOUND AND RETURNED

  • from Santa Monica (California, United States)

Jillian called me and told me that she was referred to me by Audra who I had helped find an engagement ring after the fire.  I went to the property a couple of days later to help her locate two safes that were lost in the fire and buried under the rubble. When I arrived I was told that the area were the safes were located was down about 10 feet and under two or three feet of rubble. I had to break open an iron grate that covered the ladder  before I could climb down. It took a few trips to carry the equipment down the steps . I cut through plaster , cement and drywall to get to the area that the safes were buried. That took over an hour. Finally I uncovered one safe and then the other. One was empty but in the other one I found Jillians father in laws Rolex watch that was handed down to her husband.  I Also found  a gold ring and some silver coins. This search was a little challenging because  I’m not fond of heights and I didn’t want what was left  of the house to collapse on me but I did come out unscathed.

Bill contacted me about doing a search at his property where his home had succumbed to the fire in January. He was most interested in finding his wife’s wedding and engagement rings. We arranged a day and time to meet, and I was able to go.

When I got there Bill was already at the property. I introduced myself, and began asking questions, wanting to know where the rings had been, and where he thought I should look. His wife was on the way, but we got started right away. Bill showed me the area where he remembered last seeing the jewelry box, and we ran an estimated area of the search. I donned my safety gear, and began moving the big stuff out of the way in order to get to finer debris. When Bill’s wife Lourdes arrived, she came over to say that I was looking in the wrong area, and that I should be looking on the other side of the room. She showed me where she believed the rings should be. and that’s where I began. It wasn’t that Bill was wrong because there was a jewelry box where he remembered, but what he didn’t know was that his wife put her rings elsewhere. Knowing where to look is very important in these searches. I began working through the debris shovelful by shovelful, and noticed that Bill and Lourdes had left. Not long after, I found the wedding ring and placed in a container. When they returned Lourdes came up and asked how things were going, and I showed her the ring I found. She got very excited and hopeful that the other ring would be found. About 15 minutes later I was able to find the engagement ring, which pretty much made their day. They had lost everything, but I was able to help them find a precious memory, and bring a little joy back in their lives.

Two Weeks Married Husband Lost His Gold Ring .. Huntington Harbor, Huntington Beach, CA.

Stan the Metal Detector Man is waiting for your call … 949-500-2136

*** Kayla and Sam had only been married a couple weeks when he lost his new gold wedding band in a swimming area at Trinidad Park swim area, Huntington Beach, CA.

I met them that same day to get the story and conditions.

The area of the loss would require hooka diving as it could be 10-12ft deep. I returned the next day and began the search. After about 45 minutes I could not search the location because there were too many young teenagers dominating this area of the beach.

I returned several weeks later with my back up diver, Rudy to double up on the search. Also a good time to have Rudy practice with my dive detector equipment .. I knew the ring was still in the location and it was not littered with metal trash.  Rudy went in first while I stood by for the second search.  Boom!  Rudy came up with the brand new gold wedding band, saving me from having to get wet.  I gave him the phone number and let him share the good news to Sam and Kayla. He also lived close enough to them to experience giving the ring to them personally.

It was a fun recovery, I just wish I could have organized the dive sooner. Dive calls take a lot of preparation. The important thing is getting the ring back to its rightful owner.

I’m available to help you now. “ Have Detector, Will Travel” .. I WILL TRY ANYWHERE.

Wedding Band Lost While Sledding – Found! by metal detector specialist Brian Carpenter in Irwin, PA

  • from Indiana (Pennsylvania, United States)

Lost your ring, other valuable jewelry, cellphone, keys, or other metal object…call or text Brian Carpenter at (814)244-2300 as soon as possible. I am a ring recovery/metal detecting specialist serving Pittsburgh, Indiana (PA), and most of Western PA. Why rent a metal detector when you can get a trained operator with top of the line equipment at the same time…

I got a call from Don on my way home from Digstock in NC. He lost his wedding ring in his backyard a few months ago and wanted to see if I could come out and look for it. He had looked, even with a metal detector, and did not have any luck. After getting home and checking my schedule I went out the next day.

When I arrived I met Don’s wife and she showed me where to look. Pretty standard, big hill for sledding with a few small trees and a little area of brush. I started to look and before too long Don came back from work. After about a half hour I found his ring in a mossy area a short distance from where he thought he might have lost it. I gave it to his wife to give to him when he came out of the house. He was happy it was found and I took him to the back to show him where. There had been some pretty good sounds in the backyard and Don told me it was an old golf course. He gave me permission to look around which I was very appreciative. On top of finding his ring I added a bit more clad to the collection, nothing good but it was a beautiful day and a new place to look. As always it was nice to meet another kind and generous client and be able to return their ring to them.

Lost wedding ring found on the Soccer Field at West Ranch HS in Valencia

Lost Your Ring in Santa Clarita? How Dave MacDonald, Metal Detecting Expert, Saved Raul’s Wedding Ring
March 10, 2025
Yesterday afternoon, I received an urgent call from Raul, a Valencia resident who had lost his wedding ring at West Ranch High School. Raul plays in a competitive men’s soccer league every Sunday on the school’s grassy field. Usually, his focus is on winning the game, but this time, victory took a backseat—he just wanted his precious wedding ring back. He explained that he’d removed the ring for safekeeping, placing it in or on his bag, only to discover it missing an hour later.
Raul suspected the ring was lost somewhere between two points on the field—a sprawling 200-yard stretch of grass in Valencia. That’s a big area to cover, so I knew I’d need to bring my A-game as Santa Clarita’s trusted metal detecting expert. We arranged to meet on Monday at 3:30 PM, after the school day ended and the field cleared out. Raul and his friend had bought a couple of cheap metal detectors the day before, hoping to find it themselves. I advised him to return them—when it comes to finding lost rings in Santa Clarita, Valencia, Castaic, or Canyon Country, Dave The RingFinder is the name you can trust.
The Search Begins with Dave The RingFinder
We started at the endpoint near where we parked, retracing Raul’s steps from Sunday. I worked slowly and methodically, ensuring no patch of grass was overlooked. Fortunately, the West Ranch HS field in Valencia had minimal trash, so my metal detector stayed quiet—perfect conditions for a focused search. As we progressed, though, time dragged on, and the remaining field shrank. I started to worry: had someone picked up the ring, or worse, had a mower flung it hundreds of feet away, lost forever?
Halfway through, I suggested a new strategy—let’s head to where Raul had originally been on the field and start fresh. He marked off a 30’x30’ area, and I began gridding it out like the metal detecting pro I am, while Raul searched nearby. I dug up 20-30 quarters and dimes—typical finds on a school field—but no gold yet. Doubt crept in. Then, my detector let out a double beep, a low tone that could mean a gold ring… or just another pull-tab. I held my breath, dug down, and there it was—Raul’s wedding ring, gleaming in the grass!
Another Happy Ending Thanks to Dave MacDonald
Raul’s relief was instant—he was out of the doghouse, and his ring was back where it belonged. As I like to say, “God is good!” Another lost ring recovered, right here in Valencia.

Night Time Loss of Platinum Ring Turns into Succesfull Recovery, San Clemente, CA.

Experienced Professional metal detecting help, Call or text now .. Stan Ross mobile metal detecting at your location.  949-500-2136

*** Many times people spend hours looking for their lost ring before realizing they need help. Especially when they saw the ring come off their finger. Most the time it is a waste of time and can result in a total loss of the ring.  There are many more complications they may run into after

beginning a search including that the ring was actually still at home or lost somewhere before they got to  the beach.

Rick was at San Clemente Beach, CA. When he raised his arm to swinging it down to brush sand off his pants.

He was positive it came off as he brushed his clothing. Straight down or in back of where he was standing.

Wrong ! I searched those areas he believe the heavy platinum ring had gone. No signals from my detector.. It was such a small area, I even did a cross grid. Then, I went way outside the potential area. Boom! more than 30ft. from where he stood, his platinum ring. I believe it actually came off when he raised his hand to swing it down to brush sand off his clothing. You never know, searching involves detective work, good equipment, persistence, and most of all experience.

If the item is there a experienced metal detector expert can find it..

Andrew called me and said his wife took her gold and diamond wedding ring off and set it on her towel only to pick up her towel later and lose it in the sand.

I met Andrew at the beach and he had marked off a large area in the sand and also place a stick near where they were sitting.

I turned on my detector and the first swing I got a 12 on my Equinox 800. This was a first signal recovery and a beautiful ring to boot.
