Lost White Gold Wedding Band Found in Franklin, TN

  • from Nashville (Tennessee, United States)

Nov. 7th I got a call from Sue in Franklin, TN after she found me on The RingFinder directory. She said her husband, Howard, just lost his white gold wedding band while doing some work in the front yard. A pretty severe storm was heading towards Middle TN with even a chance of lightning, so it was decided that I would conduct the ring search on Sunday.

Even though Howard and Sue were a few hours away from their home, Howard gave me his address and described the areas where he thought he may have lost his ring. I arrived at Howard and Sue’s property at about 2:00 P.M. I fired up my XP Deus 2 metal detector and started a grid search. About ten minutes later I got the signal I was hoping for. The beautiful gold ring was actually buried in some mud, presumably from being stepped on after it was lost. I cleaned it up so I could surprise Howard when he and Sue arrived back at their house.

Howard said he had worn his wedding ring every day for over forty years, and the thought of losing it forever was unthinkable.

I find great joy in reuniting people with their lost treasures, especially when they have given up all hope in ever seeing their lost item again. If you lose a ring, bracelet, earring, necklace or pretty much anything that has some metal content (keys, hearing aid, cell phone, etc.) contact your nearest ring finder on TheRingFinders.com directory.

Lost I phone… found in Waukee Iowa

Contact:

I found an I phone today that Ryan lost in a field of weeds behind his house. He said that it was lost in June and he had been searching for it ever since. He even purchased a cheap detector but was unable to find it. I was there around three hours gridding different sections before I found it. He put a charger on it and it was charging so I hope it will still work for him.

thanks for the reward Ryan

It was around 5:30 PM, and my wife was preparing our dinner when I received a call from Chris. He had Just lost his wedding ring about 30 minutes ago while throwing a football to his friend, and was unable to find it. He was wondering if I would be able to help. I let him know that I could be there in about 30 -40 minutes to do the search so I asked my wife to put the meal on hold, and left for the beach to help Chris.

When I got there it didn’t take long to find them, and Chris’ buddy took me over to show me where the loss occurred. Chris came over to show me exactly what he had done to cause the loss. and I readied my equipment to begin the search. I searched the whole area in a tight grid with no results for his ring. I did find a ring though, and a couple of earrings, some coins and a lot of trash metal. I then worked out of the box, and widened the search area in order to cover any possibility; still no ring. I then told Chris I was going to do a cross grid in order to make sure that maybe the ring was turned in such a way, it wasn’t heard by my detector going in the other direction. After about 5 passes, I received a solid signal, dug and had his ring in the scoop. I brought it over to him to his surprise, and happiness. Sometimes a ring will go into the sand a such an angle that it is indiscernible going in one direction, you have to search at a right angle to the original direction to make the find. Just a little patience and determination is what it takes. It was about 8:00 PM when the recovery was made. So I got on the phone, and asked my wife to heat up our dinner, as I would be home soon. I am glad she is so understanding.

His Grandfather’s Heirloom Wedding Ring Lost on Pine Knoll Shores Beach Found

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

Quinn contacted Crystal Coast Ring finders just minutes after losing his grandfather’s wedding band. He later explained that he had worn the ring for a family member’s wedding, and upon returning to the beach, he went down to the water to pick up his son. As he lifted him, the ring slipped off and disappeared into the surf. After a few passes, I got a strong signal, and when I scooped up the sand, there it was—Quinn’s ring shining among the grains.
Years ago, when Quinn’s mother was still a child, his grandfather had to hide this very wedding band inside one of her toys before leaving Cuba. This ring carries an incredible history, and now its story can continue with even more cherished memories.

Atlantic Beach, NC Lost Gold Necklace Quickly Found and Returned

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

Adam contacted Crystal Coast Ring Finders for help locating his lost necklace. He explained that he had been assisting a friend at the beach the previous evening and only noticed the necklace was missing after leaving. When I arrived, Adam provided a clear idea of where the necklace might be. On my third pass, I got a promising signal, and sure enough, it was his necklace. My search coil swept the sand aside to reveal the stunning gold necklace.

Tatyana called me explaining how she had lost her ring after being hit by a wave at the beach. I looked at the tide chart, and realized the tide was coming in, so the opportunity for a search in the water this day was gone. We arranged to meet the next day as the tide was receding in order to have the best chance of a recovery.

When I got to the beach we found each other quickly, and Tatyana led me over to the area of the loss. She explained what had happened, and pointed out the specific area I should search. I began on the wet sand outside of the water thinking maybe the tide had gone out enough to find the ring. It wasn’t going to happen that way, so I began to search in the water finding a few pieces of trash metal. I began to come out of the water on one pass, and received a whisper of a signal in the headphones and dug, when I dumped the sand and kicked it, I saw the glimmer of gold, reached down, and had Tatyana’s ring. She had her back to me when this happened, so I walked over to her with my hand outstretched holding the ring. When she saw it she became very emotional. It was then she told me how her father had this ring custom made for her, and had passed away just this last March. This was a very important recovery for her because of the memory of her father. So glad I was able to help.

Judie called, seeming a little desperate, asking if I would be able to come and help her find her wedding ring. I let her know I was available, and would leave right away.

It took a while to find parking, but I was able to get to the area quickly. As soon as I got there her husband Rien found me, and led me to where the loss occurred. It amazed Judie and Rien that I was able to find the ring in just a few minutes, after they had spent an enormous amount of time looking for it. They had only been married for 5 months, so this loss was very important to find. I met some very nice people, and was able to allow them to sleep well that night!

Vernon’s wife contacted me about doing a search for his wedding ring he had lost the day before in a small cove at the state beach. We arranged to have him meet me there so he could take me to the area of the loss.

When I got there I met with Vernon, and we walked to the cove he had been in the day before. He showed me what he had done to cause the loss, and where he thought it probably went. I began my search, and it wasn’t long before I had his wedding ring in my scoop. His assessments were correct about where it had gone which made the search very quick. I was happy to get it back to him, and it made for a nice day.

Bill contacted me about his lost ring. He had lost it that day, and was wondering if I would be able to help. I let him know I was available, but he was not going to be able to meet me there. I let him know that if he could give me directions to the area, I would go and do the search for him. He was able to do so, and I was off to do the search.

When I got there, I looked, and compared the photos he had sent, as well as going over the description he had given me of the site. I searched in one area with no luck, and then moved to another area near by that looked trafficked, and proceeded to search. After two passes, I found his ring, and sent him a photo to make sure this was the one I was looking for. He said it was, and we arranged to meet in Santa Monica for the return. For Bill this was a happy experience, because he was on vacation from New York, and did not want to leave his wedding ring in California

Lost Wedding Band Dropped on the Beach Found and Returned by Crystal Coast Ring Finders

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

David shared that he had placed his phone and wedding ring in a beach bag before heading for a swim at Topsail Beach. He suspected that someone might have pulled an item from the bag, causing the ring to fall out. I arranged to meet David early the next morning to begin the search. After uncovering a few deep targets and two dimes, my XP metal detector gave a loud, solid signal outside the coin range. As David walked towards the water, I called out, « This looks promising. » Moments later, I retrieved David’s platinum wedding band from the sandy beach.
