While vacationing and spending his final day with wife and kids on the beach in Florida before getting ready to return to Argentina, Nicholas suddenly noticed that his gold wedding band had slipped off his finger. He did the right thing, said a prayer, for “it’s only lost until you call.” Another prayer answered, thanks be to God!!!

I received a call from a co-worker asking me if I could help find his mother in law’s gold bracelet.
I met up with Cody at a local boat ramp and he explained that while she was holding a boat steady at the dock, her bracelet snagged a tie down and broke, then fell into the River. The water level was high, and the water was rough and murky.
It has been a couple days since this had happened, so the water had calmed down and cleared up quit a bit. I had brought a probe with me to get an idea on how high the water would be on me at a couple of areas he thought was where it had fell into the river. While laying on the dock and using the probe I noticed a faint outline of what looked to be a broken bracelet almost completely covered by silt!! Using my probe and carefully trying not to muddy up the waters, I was able the retrieve her bracelet in almost 5’ of water. No metal detectors needed thankfully because the water is getting cold.

While out cutting grass I met an unfriendly family of yellow jackets who had taken up residence in the ground near the side of my house. After receiving a few stings I removed myself from their part of the yard and in the process of escaping I lost my wedding band swatting them away. The next day I searched the ground using a rake in hopes of stirring up the ring in the grass where I could see it, but gave up after 30 minutes of no luck.
On a long shot I searched online and found Steve’s name as someone who could possibly help find my ring. After speaking with Steve he agreed to come out to the house a couple of days later to see if he could help increase my odds of finding the ring. Steve set up his detector, went to work, and in 10 minutes from the time he arrived he had found it covered up in the grass.
I truly cannot thank him enough for finding my ring that I thought was gone forever. If you need similar help you are in good hands with Steve. 
I live on a 4 acre farm. My husband and I have a huge 500 pound hog. One sunny warm day in the beginning of June, I was out enjoying the pool with my son and nephew. I heard my husband yell for me so I hopped out of the pool to see what he wanted. Turns out the 500 pound hog had broke out of his field and was chasing my niece around the yard. Mind you, he thinks he’s a ginormous puppy dog and just wanted her attention. I went running down the hillside to help get him back into his field and felt my wedding band slide off of my finger. We all searched and searched for it and never could find it. My son is really great at finding things in the weeds but he couldn’t even find it. On July 22nd, I asked Steve Wagner to come out and see if he could find it with his metal detector. Within about 45 minutes of looking, Steve had recovered my ring! Apparently it had been through the ringer so to speak, ran over with the lawn mower, trampled on by kids and chickens. I thought I wouldn’t see it again. And the enjoyment Steve got out of finding it was definitely amazing. Thank you Steve for finding my wedding band and taking your time and energy to come look for it. You are very much appreciated ☺️ And I’d say if anyone loses anything they’d like to have recovered, Steve is the man for the job.
So I had seen a post from Cassie on Facebook about this guy who found her wedding ring when she lost it at the fairgrounds and I asked her about him.
I lost my wedding ring while my husband and I were out mowing. I had taken my rings off and sat them on our porch. My husband, not knowing, had laid his shirt over top of them and when he grabbed his shirt, my rings went flying. I only found my engagement ring and couldn’t find my wedding band. My husband and I got a medal detector and he searched our hillside with no luck so my husband bought me another wedding band. Steve had seen that I was interested and he contacted me. My husband and I thought it was a lost cause because it had been 4 years! He was here close to 5:00 and left close to 8. He looked 2 and a half hours in the rain and our nasty steep hill and finally found it, along with at least 20 bullet casings. Now I have three rings instead of two and it’s more sentimental because I have my original wedding band! 🔥 I can’t thank you enough Steve Wagner!! On October 9th, 2023, I received the following PM, from Wendy,
“I lost a gold ring about two-three weeks ago somewhere between the tennis courts (GRB Assoc) and the entrance of the beach in front of the Tides – at GRB. Had I known of your service I would have contacted you immediately.
I live in CA – if you think you could help – I would greatly appreciate it. If you think it is a lost cause – I totally understand”.
I immediately replied and told Wendy I would be happy to help. Wendy replied with the details of what transpired, leading up to the ring being lost.
Wendy had been playing tennis at the Goose Rocks Beach Association tennis courts and had taken her ring off and put it in her pocket. After chasing a few errant tennis balls and walking over to a utility shed, Wendy then walked a 1/2 mile to the beach and once there, climbed over the boulders at the entrance to the beach , that the town of Kennebunkport had placed there, in preparation for Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lee, which was scheduled to arrive the next day. Once Wendy climbed over the boulder and got to the beach, she realized her ring was missing. That’s right, the ring could be on Goose Rocks Beach Association property, anywhere along the 1/2 mile walk to the beach and the beach itself. On top of all that, the ring had been lost 3 weeks previously. Wendy had retraced her steps all the way back to the GRBA Property, without any luck. Well, I do love a challenge and this was certainly a challenge.
Two days later, I went to GRB, in Kennebunkport and thought to myself, “How am I going to find her ring that was lost on September 14th, almost 4 weeks ago. Well, start where she found the ring to be missing and work your way up to GRBA property, a 1/2 mile away.”
I decided too start at the Edgewood Avenue beach entrance , which is where Wendy said she climbed over the boulders, then go up to Wildwood Avenue, Community House Road and then to the Association tennis courts. This is the route Wendy said she took. I finished up at the beach entrance 1st and no luck. As I went up Edgewood Avenue, I detected the lawns, as I stood on the side of the roads, reaching onto the lawns between 3 and 5 feet. After approximately 3 hours, I had completed all of Edgewood and Wildwood, up to Community House Road. As I walked back to my car, I also checked some lawns on the opposite side of the street, in the off chance the ring had rolled/bounced across the road, or even thrown by a lawnmower, sometime in the last 3+ weeks. Nothing even close to being gold was detected, but there was still a lot of detecting to do and ground to cover.
The next day, October 12th, I went back and detected the GRBA property. All the walkways, around the tennis courts , out near the shed and the lawns. Again, 3 hours and nothing. All I had left was Community House Road. I wasn’t able to get back there until October 20th. When I did, I decided to try detecting around the entrance, across from The Tides Club. Wendy had originally mentioned she entered the beach there and it was 1 block south of Edgewood Avenue entrance. Well, no luck there either, so I drove back up to the GRBA property, parked and worked my way down Community House Road to Wildwood Avenue. Still no luck. I the crossed the street and searched that side of Community House Road, back up to GRBA property. Absolutely nothing.
On October 26th, after watching the news all day, about the Mass Shooting, in Lewiston, Maine, just 45-50 miles away from my home, I just had to get out of the house. I decided I would go detecting at GRB and a negative low tide was enticing. I would also check a few spots on Edgewood and Wildwood, that were on the opposite side of the road Wendy had been walking. I detected the low tide 1st with only a few coins found. As I was searching the beach , I found myself about to exit the beach at Proctor Avenue, when, BANG. A very solid low tone and a 12-20 repeating on my Minelab CTX-3030’s VDI Screen. Definitely got excited on this target, as it was definitely in the gold range. I removed my pinpointer and stuck it into the sand. I found the target and hand dug out the item that was 4-5 inches deep. The last hand of scooped sand revealed a gold ring with 3 diamonds. YES, I had found Wendy’s ring, by accident, or had I? Wendy never mentioned she entered the beach across from Proctor Avenue. She had only mentioned Tides Club entrance, which was 2 blocks north and Edgewood, one block north. Could Wendy have gotten her street names mixed up. She was after all back home in California.
I texted Wendy and had her accurately describe the ring and telling her I had found a ring but not in the area she described. Wendy immediately texted back gold ring, 3 diamonds and a spring clasp on the inside of the ring to fit her finger better. I had never seen a ring with a spring clasp and the ring I found, had one Wendy described the ring perfectly. When I told her I had definitely found her ring after being lost for 6 weeks, to the day, her response was “OMG!!!! Where and how did you find it”? After going over the details, Wendy agreed she most likely had gotten her streets mixed up. She then told me
“Bless your heart. I am so happy! I never, ever thought I’d see that ring again”.
Now the only thing left to do is to mail Wendy her ring, in California, which I did, asap.
Wendy received her ring, in California on 10/30/23 and texted me the following, “Thank you so much Dennis! So thrilled to get my ring back”! Wendy also sent me a photo of her holding her ring for the 1st time in almost 7 weeks.

*** Tyran was collecting sea glass and shells in the surf at a San Jaun Capistrano Beach when her diamond wedding rings slipped off her finger into the waves. It was just about sunset when it happened. It was very rough surf conditions right up next to breakwater rocks. The rings were not to be found that evening.
I got a call from her later after she found my information online. She was willing to meet me the next morning at the location. After reviewing the information she gave me and the tide conditions, I told her our best chances would be the later evening tide. Even though I wanted to go right away my past experience in this area proved to work out well.
I assured them that I didn’t need them to give me anymore directions as the photos she gave me were perfect to identify the location. They did have dinner reservations for that evening in another city.
I was able to locate the engagement ring after fighting with a rough surf. The smaller of the two rings probably moved down the slope because the back wash was crazy strong. I was surprised that this larger ring was recovered in these conditions. That’s why I will at least give it my best shot. When I met Tyran and Eddie later that evening they were very happy and grateful to have this ring back. They had told me in the beginning this was the most important ring of the two.

Noah called me on the phone after finding my information on THE RING FINDER’S website. He and his girlfriend were hanging out in his mother’s van that was inoperable in their driveway. Amira took off her rings and put them in one of the cup holders in the first section of the rear seats. When they came back to retrieve the rings, Noah picked up the three rings that were in the cup holder and one of them dropped out of his hands and landed somewhere below the seat.
Noah and Amira looked everywhere for the very special family heirloom ring that was handed down to Amira by her grandmother. It was made out of 14 karat yellow gold and various birthstones that represented several family members’ birth dates. The young lady was devastated. They searched and searched but neither one of them was able to find the missing keepsake.
After nearly two weeks of looking, Noah’s uncle went online and found THE RING FINDER’S website after Googling « lost ring in van ». That’s when my client contacted me and we set up a time a couple of days later for me to travel out to Noah’s residence and become Noah and Amira’s ring hero!
Once I arrived, I immediately took out my search gear and began looking for the lost family heirloom ring. Within 10 minutes or so, I was able to identify and recover Amira’s precious and irreplaceable gold ring! Noah did a FaceTime with Amira and she immediately broke down in tears of joy and with much gratitude in her heart! I was so happy to be able to help solve the mystery of this beautiful lost piece of jewelry that otherwise could have potentially gone missing forever! I am so proud to have become THE RING HERO for this very sweet couple!
