Lost wedding band recovered in Spring Lake NJ by Dennis Burlingame

Got a call from Judith asking if I could help find her husband Kevin’s wedding band.  While playing volleyball with his kids his wedding band flew off his finger. They searched themselves but couldn’t find it.  While searching another beach goer told them about Ring Finders from seeing me on the beach a few times before. They found me on line and called. I told her I’d be on my way and met up with them about 15 minutes or so later. I saw where they were searching and just off to the left side I found Kevin’s ring. They were so glad to get it back. A great happy ending for all. So glad I could help.

Ring lost at Fiesta Island found

  • from La Jolla (California, United States)

Kristina was enjoying a cookout and water fun at Fiesta Island. After coming out of the water, she noticed her gold and diamonds ring was gone. Not knowing if it was actually lost in the water, or, the dry sand around where she was camped, it was hard to zero in on where it could be. She searched as best she could, and even came back later that night to try and find it, but, it remained among the missing. She called me the next day and we made arrangements to meet at the site that evening so I could see the approximate 50 X 100 foot search area and decide what the best time and method it was going to need. It took a little while to figure out the exact site on the beach, but, eventually we did and the search area was defined. The tide was still too far in, so, I decided to search the dry sand area first, even though the water was the most likely place for it to have been lost. Kristina went back home and left me to grid the area, which I did until 10pm when access to the island closes. This whole island is a virtual dump site with zillions of scrap targets everywhere. After a couple of hours, over 100 pieces of junk, no ring, so, as planned, I returned the next morning at 5am to search the wet sand and water at a minus tide. I figured the ring should now be just in the wet sand, so, I started at the water’s edge and worked my way up the slope going parallel to the water’s edge. An hour and half later, and another 100 pieces of scrap, I had gone up the slope almost to the previous night’s tide line, but, still no ring. Ok, I figured it was time to put on the booties and hit the water. In walking up the slope toward my truck, I decided to do one more pass right at the previous high tide line. After about 3/4 of the way across, I get a signal and looked down to see an outline of a gold ring! No way, I ‘m thinking. How is a gold ring sticking up above the sand like that after being lost for two days? That’s a first for me, but, sure enough, it was Kristina’s ring! The first photo is the ring  as I found it. The second is right after I lifted it up and set it sideways to verify it was Kristina’s. It turns out that there is a hard layer under the ring at that very spot that prevented it from sinking further. Another interesting aspect of this is that there was a couple that had been jogging back and forth over that very area during the time I was detecting close by. It’s amazing that they didn’t see the ring and make off with it. We lucked out. I texted a thrilled Kristina with a photo of her ring and we made arrangements to meet later in the day for the return after she got off work. A pleasure to meet you Kristina and thank you for the reward.

NEWLYWED LOSES HIS 2 MONTH OLD 18k WEDDING BAND IN THE WATERS OF WASAGA BEACH 1, ON 🇨🇦

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Bala visited Wasaga beach #1 with his Friends! Soon after he arrived and went in the water his 2 month old wedding band slipped off!

The weather in the next week had high winds and waves as well the day I arrived for my 1st of 2 attempts!

I knew the ring could be sanded in or moved as there was an under tow on the 1st attempt day. It was tough grid searching and being knocked off my feet a few times!

2nd attempt a few days later again high winds and waves and no luck!

3rd attempt I met up with Ted another ring finder and 2 great detecting guys Shaun & John…. And after 4 hours Ted was the one that pulled it out!!!

WOW, we all worked hard on this ting recovery!!

Here’s the video on the conditions and return;

Grateful for the big guns Ted/Shaun/John (and their ”P.I.” / pulse induction machines) to come out to assist!!

Bala and his young Bride are over-the-moon with joy on the recovery & return of 2 month old wedding band!!

MASSIVE 18k WHITE GOLD 24 DIAMOND WEDDING BAND LOST IN THE WATERS in THE BLUE MOUNTAINS, COLLINGWOOD, ON 🇨🇦

  • from Brampton (Ontario, Canada)

Large Family day gathering at the beach of Northwinds Beach, Georgian Bay in The Blue Mountains area of Collingwood, Ontario.

Dino was playing volleyball with his Family and extended Family in knee deep waters of Georgian Bay! Twenty minutes later Dino noticed his wedding band was missing. Eight to ten people were searching for 1 1/2 hours with no luck.

Dino’s brother-in-law remembered the group “The Ring Finders” and proceeded to get in touch with me. He sent a photo of the location along with a blurry photo of Dino’s wedding band!

I was in Wasaga Beach at the time and dropped everything to attend the emergency call-out 25 minutes away. When I arrived I went in with my cloths on as all my gear/wetsuits were wet!

After 4 grid passes in the area identified I located Dino’s stunning wedding band in 4 minutes and already 6” in down!!! We were lucky as the weight of the ring would continue to go deeper over time!

Then the surprise phone call to the brother-in-law and subsequently sent him a photo of Dino’s ring! HAPPY HAPPY!!!

The next day at work on my lunch hour I met Dino in Brampton to return his wedding band!! It’s the most incredible, massive, elegant and stunning men’s wedding band I have ever recovered and returned!! ZOOWEEMAMA!!!!

Check out the video on this wedding band return;

I was shocked with gratefulness at Dino’s extremely generous charity donation to the Kelly Shires breast Cancer Foundation. Dino received a tax receipt for his generous donation! This is part of my pay-it-forward program as I do charge a fee to go out but I do not take a reward after I find the list item!

I love using my passion for metal/scuba dive detecting to help others in need!!

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH DINO!!! Your donation amount really shows me your appreciation for my help!! Blessings

Engagement Ring FOUND After Playing Ball With Dog

  • from Reading (Pennsylvania, United States)

I received a call asking if I could find a ring in a backyard. My schedule allowed me to search the same day of the call. I arrived and was met by Rebecca and her fiancé who showed me where she possibly lost it. They told me she was throwing a ball to her dog and the ring flew off. They bought a metal detector and searched for two days before calling me. I began my search with the 4.5″ Super Sniper Search Coil so I could search easily in some thick brush and under bushes. After approx. 25min of searching and just minutes before a strong thunderstorm struck, I found the ring in leaves under a large bush. Rebecca immediately began crying with joy and gave me a big hug. I just love reuniting lost jewelry with its owner.

Wedding Ring Found New Smyrna Beach – Arthur Botting

  • from New Smyrna Beach (Florida, United States)
I can’t thank you enough for finding my wedding ring.  It’s so important to me and when I lost it my heart sank.  My thumb couldn’t stop touching my ring finger I guess because subconsciously my mind ket looking for it.  We looked for it with all of our friends who were at the beach with me when I lost it.  I had basically given up ever finding it. When I found out about “The Ring Finders” and Jerry Burbaugh I was skeptical.  But you found it and I can’t believe you did because we had scoured every inch of the beach looking for it.  My wife and I were so happy when I showed to her.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!  You are amazing!!!! New Smyrna Beach Engagement Ring Find – Kaitlyn Hunsaker

  • from New Smyrna Beach (Florida, United States)

I sit here with my ring back on my finger in complete awe. Here my future husband and I decided to come to my home town a week before we get married, so I could show him my hometown. As we neared the end of our trip, we decided to play football in calf deep water. Passing back and forth, my ball slipped from my left hand as I caught it. And instantly my ring flung off.  The disparity I felt instantly was horrendous. And I never wish that hurt on anyone. We searched and searched. Even other locals jumped in to help and nothing. The tide was at its peak of high tide. And there was already a yellow flag out for the day as the waves and current were pretty harsh. After all the effort we could do to look, a thought crossed my mind to look at Facebook and see if I had any metal detecting friends. Instantly, he was referred. My call was answered on the second ring, my text was answered very promptly, and he kept me updated with an ETA. He got there 20 mins after my phone call. And went to work. Of course you just want to sit there and watch. But as I am 8 months pregnant my baby said otherwise! Ha. We decided to let him do what he does best and headed to the house. I remember getting in the car and saying, “we are never going to find this ring”. And bawling my eyes out. We got home, and I just sat there crying and just praying for a miracle. And BOOM. The picture came up on my phone. The excitement that ran through my veins was insane. I wish I could type into words the happiness he brought back to my life. This wasn’t just a ring. This was so so much more. He made my loss cause look like a breeze! I wish I could explain the feeling. And I hope no one ever has to go through what I did. But if you do. Use this company. What may be a lost cause to you, is a breeze to him! From the Hamilton family, we thank you guys so much for what you did today! And continue to do for everyone.
