Lost necklace in the lagoon, Lavallette NJ, Recovered by Edward Trapper, NJ Ring Finder

  • from Lavallette (New Jersey, United States)

I received a call from AnnMarie about some items that were accidentally dumped into her lagoon. She had seen one of my stories about a water recovery, and figured it was worth giving me a call. She explained what had happened. Over 2 months prior her daughter was at the beach, and had placed her jewelry in her beach bag for safe keeping while she went into the water. At the end of the day, she placed her beach items in the back yard by the deck, and went inside the house. AnnMarie figured she would help and accidentally dumped her necklaces into the lagoon while dumping the sand out of the beach bag. At that point she figured they were gone, until she saw my post detailing a very similar recovery. I knew they were right up against the bulkhead after she explained in detail exactly what she had done. We basically decided to do the recovery but didn’t decide when, as I am in her area quite often. Ann sent me the address an told me it would be fine to go, even though they would not be home. I had some time a few days later, and swung by to look. Conditions were perfect, and about 35 min into the search I had both necklaces. She had no idea that I had gone and I decided to snap a few pics and shoot them over to her. AnnMarie was shocked to say the least, we made arrangements to mail them back to her, and in just a few days they were back for safe keeping. Thank you again, so glad I was able to help.

Lost Gold Wedding Ring found in Waterville, Maine

  • from Rockport (Maine, United States)

After being referred by fellow Ring Finder Dennis Boothby, who was unavailable, I took a ride up to Waterville this morning to reunite Sidney with his lost wedding band. The ring had been lost at the beginning of the month while clearing grass and brush on his property. Although he had rented a metal detector and tried finding it himself, he was unsuccessful. The search area was large about the size of a football field, but my decision to start at the brush pile proved to be the right choice with a new record for me set, by locating the ring in under a minute from beginning the search. I guess we can both give thanks for a second day in a row, Sidney for having the ring he has worn for 32 years of marriage back on his finger, and I for having picked the right end of that football field to start from. With Christmas coming I will be directing a portion of the generous reward I received toward sponsoring a local child’s Angel Tree wish.

Gold Pendant Worn for 27 Years Lost at Pacific AirShow Huntington Beach, CA. Found in Sand

  • from Newport Beach (California, United States)

If you lost something in the sand, call Stan the Metal Detector Man .. 949-500-2136

*** Nick lost his gold pendant that he had worn every day for 27 years. He had been attending the Pacific AirShow at Huntington City Beach,CA. Part of the beach has cabanas set up for VIP viewing. The loss occurred somewhere within three areas in or near the VIP seating.

Nick called me an hour before the airshow was to end. Masses of people leaving the area could hamper my chances of getting to the location to do a search. I jumped in my car right away and was able to get there before the rush to exit.

Security wouldn’t let us into the cabana area until it was clear of guests. I asked Nick where he had changed his shirt. He pointed to an outer sandy spot just outside the entrance to VIP seating. I had time to do a quick scan of that location, just part of the process of elimination. He had no idea where the chain had come off his neck..

Within a short half a dozen swings of my detector “BOOM” short solid signal in my earphones turned out to be Nick’s very sentimental gold pendant that he had worn for 27 years. I could see the look on his face, he had figured it was lost forever and now there was a miracle. His pendant was back. Every recovery is an adventure. The bonus is meeting people like Nick. It was my pleasure to be available to help him.

How to Find Lost Gold Wedding Band in Grass with Metal Detector… Ashburn, Virginia

  • from Washington (District of Columbia, United States)

Russ’s white gold custom-made filigree style wedding band that ring finder Brian Rudolph recovered out in the grass!

Russ and his wife Alene celebrating the return of Russ’s very special and irreplaceable keepsake – his white gold wedding band of four years!

Brian Rudolph, Lost Item Recovery Specialist (Land, Water, Sand, Snow, Leaves, Cliffs, Houses & Vehicles) Will Find Your Lost Keepsake! Call ASAP (301) 466-8644!

Russ lost his white gold custom-made filigree style wedding band that he wore on his finger for 4 years since the time he got married. The ring matched his wife’s band. He wasn’t sure where he lost it but it did come off of his finger somewhere in the house or possibly flew off his hand out on his deck while feeding the birds.

Russ was very upset about losing his beloved keepsake. He looked online and found the elite international directory of metal detectorists called THE RING FINDERS. That’s when he gave me a call and I assured the gentleman that I would do everything I could to recover his lost property.

Because there was too much to look through in Russ’s Ashburn, Virginia townhouse, my client and I felt that the only areas that I could search would be the second floor back deck and the lawn below. We eliminated Russ’s truck and front lawn from being possible suspected areas.

The next morning after being contacted, I headed to Russ’s property and he took me on a tour of the deck (showing me where he threw old Chex cereal for the birds) and out on his lawn. After scanning the deck just to see if the ring may have fallen somewhere on the wood flooring, I then turned on my detector and started searching the lawn below.

Within a few minutes, I successfully detected Russ’s extremely handsome custom-made filigree style 14 karat white gold wedding band! It was hidden in the grass approximately 25 feet away from the house. Russ could not have been more excited and his wife Alene was certainly relieved as well!

Russ was extremely happy that he contacted a professional metal detectorist on THE RING FINDERS website! Having his ring back on his finger meant the world to the couple and they were tremendously grateful for my work. Russ and I thanked the Lord following the recovery of the band. We gave God the glory for helping me to be able to help my new found friends, Russ and Alene!

Lost hearing aid found in Malcolm, Nebraska

  • from Lincoln (Nebraska, United States)

I got a call from Richard’s son that his father had lost a hearing aid. Richard still had one which I scanned to see what the signal was like. Richard took me on a tour of his acreage to show me the places he did yard work that day. Twenty minutes later I got the signal. He is having 28 people over for thanksgiving in a couple days. I’m glad he will be able to hear all the laughter of his family.

Diamond Ring Lost in Cordova, IL…Found

  • from Bettendorf (Iowa, United States)

The holidays are fast approaching and families will be spending time together as part of their annual traditions.  That is exactly what Johnna and her husband did this past weekend as they celebrated Thanksgiving early.  The weekend weather was great so the family spent time outdoors making huge leaf piles for the grandchildren to jump in and play.  It was amid all of this fun activity with her grandchildren that Johnna felt her wedding ring of 45 years slip from her finger into the massive pile of leaves.  The activity turned from fun to serious as all of the family members searched diligently for Johnna’s lost ring.  Ultimately, the search ended with the ring still missing.

A couple of days passed by and Johnna happened to locate a Ring Finders video and then the Ring Finders website.  Johnna searched for a Ring Finder in her area and she located yours truly.  Johnna explained her situation to me over a phone call, and I told her that I would head over to her home within a couple of hours to perform a search.

I arrived at Johnna’s house and she took me to the area to be searched.  The once huge leaf pile was now a series of smaller piles, while thousands of other leaves covered the yard.  Johnna was certain that the ring would be in this area.  I started the search by detecting the leaf piles.  Since they did not yield the ring, I began my normal grid pattern search.  Soon after I began my grid search, I heard the unmistakable tone of a ring under a layer of Oak leaves.  I cleared away the leaves and there was Johnna ‘s beautiful diamond ring just waiting to be found.  I brought the ring to Johnna and made her very happy.  I even made a new friendship with her and her husband.  Life is good.

Lost Tungsten Wedding Band Kuhio Beach Waikiki…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began just as I finished dinner when Giovanni who was on vacation from Maryland texted, « Are you available to retrieve a lost ring on Oahu?  We are here until Friday. »  I immediately called knowing the sundown hunters would be combing the beach.  Gio told me he was in waist deep water at the Kuhio Beach lagoon when while catching a football his silver colored tungsten Wedding Band came off and disappeared in the sand.  A few beachgoers pitched in but were unsuccessful in finding the ring.  I told Gio I would grab my gear and head down to the zoo to park and we could meet at the beach.  After I parked Gio and his lovely wife Shelia met me in the parking lot and we drove to a near by parking spot near where the ring came off at Kuhio Beach.  Gio directed me to the spot he was thinking 5 feet from the breakwater.  It was pitch dark but I was able to use the hotel windows and the wall as markers.  I hunted along the wall to about 15 feet from the wall.  On the return leg I found a screaming 14K Rose Gold Wedding band but not Gio’s ring.  I went back ashore and discussed the depth of the water and Gio figured he must have been farther away from the wall.  It was pitch dark but the Manticore light was enough to see what I was doing and I decided to try an in and out grid to get more distance from the wall.  On about the fourth leg I got a screamer on the Beast and in two scoops Gio’s large size Tungsten Band was in the scoop.  Gio and Shelia were very appreciative of the successful hunt and drove me back to my car at the zoo.  We had a few laughs and a hug and they promised me a selfie when they got back to their room.  See those smiles above…its what I love!  Aloha to Giovanni and Shelia!
