Gold ring recovered in Asbury Park

While watching TV I got a call from Dan if I could help finding his girlfriends ring she lost earlier in the day. I told him id meet him on the beach. He was there waiting when I got there and we walked to the area they were sitting. Turns out Lani took off her ring and Dan put it in an eyeglass case not realizing there were holes in it and her ring fell out while packing up. I started detecting, while doing so Dan pointed at a plastic rapper and said he remembered that.. I started a pass through the area of the rapper and about a foot away from it I got a solid signal and there was her ring. He couldnt believe I Was able to find it and couldn’t wait to tell Lani the good news.

Lost Wedding Ring Found – Franklinton

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)

I got a text from Julie, who explained that her husband had lost his rings. Rings plural? She explained that there were two rings that had been lost – one 5 1/2 years ago and a replacement ring that was lost a few days ago (more on that in a minute). It was the replacement ring that she had texted me about. They had searched for the original ring and been unable to find it.. I made the hour’s drive to her house and she explained the situation a little further. The newly lost ring (the replacement) had been tossed (long story) and Julie showed me the area of the woods where she thought it would have landed.

Julie then explained that right after they moved into this house 5 1/2 years earlier, their two dogs stumbled onto a yellow jacket nest in the woods. Julie grabbed one of the dogs and started to address that problem while her husband went after the other dog. The yellow jackets attacked him as well and in the process of swatting them away as he ran toward the house, his ring came off. They had looked for it at the time, but were unable to locate it. So, first ring lost 5 1/2 years earlier and replacement ring lost two days ago.

I spent probably two hours scouring the woods where she had pointed me, but no ring. Nails, bottle caps, pop tops, and other common things, but no ring. After talking with Julie again, we decided that moving the search closer to the house (into the yard) would be a good strategy. I turned my machine back on and almost immediately Julie yelled that she had found the replacement ring. I was disappointed that I hadn’t found it, but since the main thing is to get the owner and the lost item back together, it was still a great outcome. With the replacement ring found, I started looking for the « original ». I was only able to spend about 30 min that day, but promised to come back and try again.

On my return visit, I started where the yellow jacket nest had been and slowly worked my way toward the house. After about an hour of searching, I got a solid signal and uncovered the original ring. During the time between loss and recovery, it had sunk 3 or so inches down into the dirt and was additionally covered by leaf litter. The picture shows the ring and an excited Julie. Another happy ending!

Diamond Ring Lost While Swimming…Found!

The Bay Area Ring Finders Brendon Chapman… Metal Detecting Service/Call ASAP     925-580-2590

On the 18th of June Corrine lost her diamond ring while taking a swim test at a local lake.  She spent plenty of time searching the bottom for the missing ring with no luck.  At some point in the panic of the moment she entered the situation into ChatGPT on her phone.  This resulted in providing a link to THERINGFINDERS.COM and directly to me.

As it happened, I had two constraints to providing immediate support.  First, I was out of town with the family visiting relatives.  The second issue was that my Equinox 800 was still awaiting a new control box after damages accrued while providing support on a dive recovery.  I would also need to reach out to the local parks department for permission to enter the water with a metal detector.

A few days later, these constraints had worked their way out and we scheduled the search.  I would be teaming up with Mark (a member of the MDMDC) and Evan (scuba diver) would be tagging along for support as well.  Members of the parks department would escort our small team to the lake shore to prepare and within minutes of entering the water…We Made The Recovery!!!

The ring was successfully recovered in 3 feet of water in the precise location Corrine said it would be.  It was as easy as they come and all parties were ecstatic for a speedy success.  I can’t thank everyone involved enough for playing their part in getting this diamond ring back to it’s rightful owner.  Thank you very kindly.

Found Wedding Ring in Northern Vermont

6/21/25

I got a voicemail on 6/16 from a lady whose husband had recently lost his wedding ring. He is a farmer who works 7 days a week and covers a lot of ground around their huge farm.

His wife did some absolutely incredible detective work to try to narrow down the area that he might have lost it. He hadn’t felt it fall off. They have several security cameras, so she decided to go through all the footage. She finally found that he had his ring on when they were doing some things in a side yard and behind a building, and a little while later it could be seen that it was missing from his finger. So, that gave them an idea where to search.

Not knowing about my service yet, they ordered a metal detector from the internet. Without having experience with a detector, and being an area jam packed with signals, they had no luck with it. She also spent many hours visually searching for it in the daytime and with a bright flashlight at night.

I went over this morning early because I thought it may be a difficult search. She showed me the areas and I got started. Unfortunately, her husband was too busy to accompany us. The ground was loaded with signals, but in about 10 minutes I got a promising surface signal. I pushed the pinpointer into the thick grass and there it was! Wow, was she happy!! She wasn’t sure if they would ever see it again!

Diamond Ring Lost for 7 Months Near Cottonwood Heights, Utah- Found

I received a call from Sara about her lost diamond wedding ring. Apparently her daughter was playing dress up in the front yard and asked to borrow it. Shortly after coming into the house she told Sara that she had lost it outside. For 6-7 months they search the yard for it and in desperation to find it, she called me. I went over to her house with my son and after getting the rough area to search, went to work. My first signal was a high tone from a brass sprinkler head. At the end of my first pass, I got a nice 8-11 on my detector that was pretty close to the surface. After pulling back the grass a little bit, I could make out the edge of something. Sure enough it was her ring that had been lost for nearly 7 months. The whole experience was under 5 minutes and she was sure excited to see her ring again! Urn lost for 2 years found Ithaca Nebraska

  • from Lincoln (Nebraska, United States)

Contact me for all your metal detecting and recovery needs. Rob 402-580-6933. Land, water, cracks in concrete, rings, keys, hearing aids, phones, etc. Helping law enforcement. Serving Lincoln and the greater Nebraska area.

I got a call with a challenge that I had not encountered yet. A family lost their husband and dad a couple years ago and the cemetery lost where the urn containing his remains was buried. I usually have recoveries where people smile and jump up and down after their item is found. This was a quiet almost graveside ceremony as closure was brought to this family. The headstone which was also put in the wrong location can now assume its proper place. It was my honor to help out this family.

RJ and his friend were enjoying an evening of relaxing, watching TV and later in the evening he noticed his gold chain on the floor and his gold pendent had disappeared. This pendant is very special as it was gifted to him by his parents when he was 16 years old and he wears it ALL the time. They tried searching everywhere…inside and outside…for a couple of hours and that is when RJ went online to search for a metal detecting service for some professional help. It was a Sunday and Fathers Day to boot and we were just finishing up our lunch when he called. My dear wife and I made the drive and as we were driving up to the house we prayed that God would help us find RJ’s pendant and that we would be a blessing to him and his family. So after hearing RJ’s story I decided to search the outside grassy area first as the sky was getting dark and thunder was rumbling off in the distance. RJ had indicated a 30 foot area on the grass where they had spent some time and I set out my markers and cleared that area rather quickly and I then decided to expand another 30 feet radius and it didn’t take long and there laying in the gras, shining in the hot afternoon Florida sun was RJ’s lost gold pendant! RJ and his wife were ecstatic! We talked and visited for an hour or so and as we headed home we prayed again and thanked God for directing us and using us to help and bless RJ and his dear wife and kids!

How can I help you? Call or text me ASAP at 321-363-6029 and let’s talk!
