Got a call from a fellow who had been splashing around in the surf on a beach in Santa Cruz.  He saw and felt his wedding ring come off.  He instinctively reached for it in the knee-deep depth water.  But the cloudy water prevents visibility.  And the sand and ebbing/rolling surf immediately envelope it.   He had a rough idea where it was, but no amount of eyeballing the surface was going to reveal it.   He got hold of me through the ringfinder directory.   I was a bit busy with work this morning, so I matched him up with a friend of mine who lives just a few miles from this particular beach.  The two of them hooked up, and …… 2 minutes later, the reunion was made.   Thanx for helping Gary !   Glad we could help them.

Here at TheRingFinders we don’t just find rings…We can find cell phones too, cell phones are such a lifeline in so many ways and have become so extremely expensive and they have a lot of memories such as photos and videos & Banking info. I went out the other night and happened upon two cell phones and was able to get both of them back to the owners. I have found a way through help of other members to pull the phone numbers from iPhones I find by putting the Sim card in my iPhone. There’s a way you can find the number, I have surprise quite a few people now by contacting them and saying I have found your phone. Some people just give up and get another phone, but their phone number stays the same therefore it often is a nice surprise for the people to get their original phone back. Especially at the cost of replacement nowadays, this young man was very happy to get his phone back that I found on a beach beside a fire pit. Great guy and happy to get it back to him!

I have the best job in the world, I love helping people more than anything I’ve ever done in my lifetime. I get to make people smile!

This beautiful platinum ring was lost by a San Francisco couple, while camping in Big Sur, south of Carmel, CA.   They found the RingFinders directory, that allowed us to coordinate for a hunt.   Glad to help.  Glad the heirloom remains in your family !

I got an email from Debbie letting me know that her husband lost his wedding ring the week before at PJ Hoffmaster State park.  After attempting to locate it with a friend and their metal detector with no success they contacted me through The Ring Finders website.  I met up with Debbie and her husband the next day and after a 30 or 40 minute search his ring was in my scoop.  😎

I received a text from Hailey who said her friend Gavin had lost his deceased father’s wedding ring at Grand Haven State Park.  After returning home to Muskegon, Gavin called me and stated he’d lost the ring IN the lake.  The detector I had with me wasn’t waterproof so i would have to run home to grab my Garrett AT Pro and meet up with him about 2 hours later.  When I arrived at the beach Gavin and his mother were there, as well as Greg, the Ring Finder from the Grand Rapids area, and 2 firefighters with metal detectors already searching.  After a brief 15 minute search I got a signal so loud that it startled me and I had his family heirloom in my scoop.  His mother was so overjoyed she started to cry.

 I received a text from Dan, saying he had lost his wedding band. He and his wife, Emily, were visiting from their home in Missouri, vacationing at a private home on the shore of Lake Michigan. Spending the beautiful day on the sand beach with lots of family and friends, Dan noticed his ring was missing shortly after they had played some catch. He pointed out two areas where he suggested I start: right next to the water, and an area right in front of the whole group of family and friends who were sitting on the beach, watching, not wanting to get in the way of the search. Checking the area next to the water produced only a rusty can lid, but on the third sweep of the area in front of the group I got a good solid hit. Bingo! There it was in my first scoop. Whoops and hollers and high fives from the group watching, and Dan and Emily’s 11 year marriage was back on track. Saving good memories of the 2022 vacation in Michigan!!
