Lost engagement ring found in Hillsborough NC

  • from Hillsborough (North Carolina, United States)
Contact:

Got a call today in Hillsborough NC for a lost white gold engagement ring.

What a great way to start out the new year helping someone recover a lost ring.

  1. I received the call today and spoke with the gentleman about his wife’s ring she had lost at a local park today. He explained that she had taken the rings off and put them on a carabiner which she then attached to the strap on her back pack. When they were done they picked up their stuff and back pack and went to the car. When she got home she noticed the wedding band was still there but not her engagement ring. They went back to the park and looked then called me for help. I agreed to meet within the hour and started my search. After about an hour the ring was found and he was very happy to have the ring back. It always great to help people out and was a great way to start out the new year.

Lost – Lady’s Gold Wedding Band, Outer Banks (OBX), NC – FOUND!!

  • from New Smyrna Beach (Florida, United States)

I was working on my truck and my wife was making pumpkin pies from scratch.  The last thing I expected was a lost ring call…but that’s exactly what happened.

I got the call shortly before noon.   A lady on the other end let me know that she had lost her gold wedding ring on a vacant lot about a one-hour drive away.  The lady lives near me in the Outer Banks so we decided to drive down to the site together.

As we drove, the conversation centered around the importance of the ring and how she lost it.  Her husband had passed away only a few days earlier.   They had been married 51 years.  She had been looking at a boat motor that he had owned.

While walking on the lot she got burrs on her sleeves.  She never felt the ring fall off but later that day she found it missing.  A friend offered to help her find it with a metal detector.  They searched for over an hour with no luck.

On the way to the ring site, we stopped  for a quick lunch.  She asked me if I could bless the food.  I asked God to bless our food and help us find the ring.  I had no idea how easy He would make it.

When we arrived, I did not pull in the one space drive but rather parked on the precariously sloped side of the road. I wanted to concentrate where they were parked previously.

As I got my Deus II out, the lady went over to the area she thought she may have lost it.  The sun came out shining brightly on the ring lying at her feet.  She screamed, “I found it!”  She was thrilled.

The ride back was filled with tears of gratitude and memories of her husband.  Mission accomplished!

Wedding Ring Found on Sheep Farm in Roundhill Virginia

  • from Leesburg (Virginia, United States)

Call Ray at MyGoldFinder for lost items 571.258.7217 www.mygoldfinder.com

I received a call from Daniel about his wedding ring he’d lost on his sheep farm in Roundhill, Virginia. Daniel had shot a deer on his property and was processing the deer in the field. It was starting to get a little late and Daniel was trying to get done so he could get back into the house before dark. As he was cleaning out the deer he shook blood from his hands and realized his ring flew off at the same time! He did a little searching but couldn’t locate the ring, thus the call to me the next day.

My recovery quests have taken me from land to water, from cattle farms and to horse ranches… a sheep farm was a first for me. Upon arrival at Daniel’s property I was immediately greeted by his 3 dogs. Daniel gave me the layout of the property and some more details on where he thought the ring may have been lost. As we were heading towards the location he realized one of his dogs was missing, the smallest guy. The dog had decided to jump into my truck and make himself at home on the backseat floor..sorry buddy can’t take you home. You are cute though!

The farm location had a nice scenic view of the mountains going towards the Winchester side of Virginia. He had around 30 Scottish blackface sheep. They seemed harmless enough except for one that kept a keen eye on me the whole time and anytime I got closer to the herd, he came closer to me….I got the message!

The area was about a 1/2 an acre, not too large, but Daniel was worried one of the sheep may have eaten it while grazing…let’s hope not. I started a general search around the blood pile area and then started to widen my search pattern. After a few disappointing pattern sweeps and 45 minutes later I decided to search in the opposite direction… then shortly afterwards was rewarded with a nice big bang on the detector. Ring in hand, I sent Daniel a text with the photo of the ring. His response was priceless… »Ho. Lee. Shit. » Not sure of the context style, maybe because he’s Australian, didn’t know, but he was thrilled the ring was found and back on his finger.

Daniel, thank you for contacting me and having confidence I’d find your ring.

God Bless and Keep on Hunting!

Great Great Grandmother’s Heirloom Ring Lost on Toboggan Hill Beaumaris Park, Edmonton, Alberta.

I received an urgent call around 8:15 pm from Ihsan requesting my service to locate his niece’s ring which she lost while playing in the snow. It was imperative to find this ring because his niece was flying home to Sydney Australia in the morning. After asking Ihsan a few questions I agreed to meet him within ½ hour.
When I arrived at the park and meet Ihsan I could sense he was very upset. He told me he had his whole family out on the hill searching for five hours with no luck. I assured Ihsan if the ring was there I would find it for him providing he put me in the area that the ring was lost in and he did.
His niece was making snow angles and had pulled the ring off her finger and put it in her pocket for safe keeping. After she got up she put her hand in her pocket and was shocked to find the ring was gone.
Ihsan told me the ring belonged to his niece’s great, great Grandmother and that it was very sentimental to the whole family. I began my search and within 15 minutes I found a rose gold ring in the area but that was not the ring! The ring I was looking for was a yellow gold ring with a diamond so we faced timed his niece and showed her the ring. She said that was one of her rings but she never told anyone that she had lost both rings as she was only concerned about her great, great Grandmothers ring.
I knew by my experience the other ring was close by and within a few minutes found the other ring, Ihsan was excited to have both rings back in his hand and I’m positive the whole family were over the moon, And his niece will never forget her stay in snowy Edmonton Alberta.

Lost 14k White Gold Wedding Ring with Dinosaur Bone Inlay in Salt Lake City- Found

Tom is an outdoor photographer by trade and he was working up on the side of a mountain that over looks Salt Lake City. He had taken his ring off and put it in his pocket when he first stepped outside and then proceeded to hike up to the trail where he was taking photos. At some point, he reached into his pocket to pull out some items and that’s when he realized his 14k white gold wedding band with dinosaur bone inlay was missing!

I met Tom and his wife Lexi the next night to help relocate the ring. It was very cold up there on the side of the mountain and it was pitch dark. We made our way up to the furthest point on the trail where Tom had realized his ring was missing. I started to detect a long both sides of the trail as we headed down the mountain. It didn’t take long to get a signal in the snow and sure enough it was his ring! So glad we decided to work our way back from the furthest point cause it was basically at the end of his path. Tom and Lexi were so excited to see the ring! They are making plans to move cross country in the next few months so getting this ring back was a big relief! On a personal note, I think Tom’s ring is the most unique ring I have ever found with a metal detector! Overall great experience and wish Tom and Lexi the best on their next adventure!

Lost 14k Gold Wedding Band in Sandy, Utah- Found

Last week it snowed for a good 36 hours straight. I received a text message about a lost 14k gold wedding band lost in Sandy, Utah and made plans to go out looking for it that night. I met Logan at his house where he lost his ring. Earlier that day he was leaving for work and in the process decided to scrape off the snow from his wife’s car. In a hurry, he used his left hand to wipe the back window of the car and immediately realized his ring had come off. he spent 20-30 minutes looking in the snow but was unsuccessful locating the ring. I arrived later that night and after several targets, was able to locate the ring which had traveled through a chain link fence and ended up in the road. Fortunately, the snow plows had not come down the street yet which could have sent the ring flying! Check out the full length recovery video on YouTube- Lost Jewelry Recovery Utah

LOST WEDDING RING in Durham, NC…….. FOUND!!!!!!

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)
Got a call today from a man who lost his 14k white gold wedding ring about 2 weeks ago while cutting wood with his boys.
He had his cell phone in his front left pocket when he took his ring off so it wouldn’t interfere with wood cutting and put it in the same pocket as his phone. Then at some point he took his phone out of his pocket and it must have pulled his ring out with it.
I get to his house, get the scoop, grabbed my machine and got to searching! I started where he was when he took it off and put it in his pocket.
Less than 5 mins – Boom! We got gold!!!
Another successful ring recovery and another marriage saved!

Ashley called this morning requesting my service to locate her husband’s wedding ring which he lost yesterday while at work.  Ashley gave me Nick, her husband’s cell phone so I called Nick and asked him a few questions.  I agreed to search and told him I would be there within a ½ hour.

Nick showed me where the ring could be.  He was opening a gate and felt the ring slip of his finger and ended up in the snow. The temperature yesterday was -28 Celsius.  This morning Temperature was a cool -32 with a windshield of -40 Celsius.

Nick had searched the area but could not find his ring.  It was apparent that a truck had driven over the ring and buried it.  I had a hard time to dig the ring out of the frozen packed snow.

Nick was very happy to have the ring back on his finger and he told me the ring was very sentimental to him as the ring belonged to his late father and his wife’s late Stepfather.  They had been welded together.

Thank you Ashley and Nick for allowing me to locate your Unique ring.

Lost platinum wedding band, found in the snow!

Vancouver Ring Finder Chris Turner- Ring Recovery Specialist…Lost your ring?… Metal Detecting Service/Call ASAP  Anytime   778-838-3463

I received my second call of the day to search for a lost platinum wedding band at a school filled where this young man was sliding down the hill with his kids on a magic carpet. Isn’t quite sure the exact location when the rain came off his finger but he was pretty certain it had to of happened while he was there playing with his kids.

When I arrived, I could see somebody in the area with what look like a Metal Detector and a headlight as it was dark out, turned out it was one of his friends who Jimmy rigged a metal detector with the use of a pin pointer, very difficult but what a great effort and what a great friend to be out there in the dark&  cold, looking for hissing.

I took over the search and while I set my grid, we both started talking about the World Cup game turned out. He was a former goalkeeper like me who tried out for the Canadian national team back in the day. He still plays  soccer,  after about one hour of searching I did find his beautiful platinum wedding band. Tell he was pretty happy as he knew it would make his wife happy to know. He’s got it back where it belongs..
