The Tale of a Found Wedding Ring: A Bell Canyon Recovery Story

I received a call from Katie who said she lost her wedding ring in a large corn play area, a place I had been to find another ring a month earlier. Walking in the corn pit is difficult and you need to remove your socks and shoes. It was a very cold and windy day during my search and my feet become numb within minutes. I found a ring, but unfortunately it was not Katie’s wedding band, so I continued to search and found her ring shortly after. I texted her a photo to confirm that I had the correct ring as she was unable to meet me at the site. She was so excited that I found it and we made arrangements to return it back to her. No matter where a lost item may be, whether on land, water or even in corn, call me at 610-207-8677.
I saw a post this morning on our local beach page – someone had also tagged my ringfinders page. I had to run a quick errand and then headed to Dauphin Island, Alabama to see if I could help out. Thankfully it was a smallish area – her husband had felt his wedding ring slip off his finger as he made a hand motion while standing on the porch. It only took a quick 15 minute hunt with my Equinox and 15” coil to retrieve the band from the sand where it fell last night. Success ! successful

I received a call back in May about several sentimental and valuable items lost in a house fire in New Jersey. After several phone calls and a long wait for permits to enter the home site, we were finally able to search for the lost family heirlooms this weekend.
The fire had taken the home down to the foundation which made the recovery search very difficult. The effort continued over the course of a few days. I was able to recover the gold family heirlooms from the sad and tragic loss.

Not all lost items are rings or jewelry. Andy a friend called asking if I could find a sewer vent drain in his lawn. After the short ride over and the quick search it was found.

Jeff took his ring off to put on suntan lotion and put it in his hat and forgot. It was not until he was in the water before he remembered. After he got home he found my information on theringfinders.com website and texted me. On my first trip I could not find it after searching 2 hours. Before I returned Jeff sent me a pic he took on the beach which helped me locate the area. It only took about 20 minutes the second time.

I got a call that Jena that she had put her ring in her pants pocket and when she took her pants off the ring was gone. She did all the right things by marking off the area it was lost and staying right there. It took about 4 swings and there it was! Another smile to make my day.

Here is Sunshines story! « Hello my name is Sunshine. On Saturday September 25th I married the love of my life and best friend, Victor! We came to Flagler Beach, Florida to enjoy the weekend at Island Cottage Inn. We were having the time of our lives, walking the beach, enjoying our room and everything beautiful Flagler Beach has to offer. On Sunday evening about 5:30pm I talked my husband into taking a dip in the ocean. The current was strong and the waves were tall and as we walked out into the ocean we were laughing and diving under the waves as they rolled in. A stronger wave came in and caught me off guard and I was pulled under. My husband went to reach for me and after we were both ok he realized he was no longer wearing his wedding ring. We searched the beach frantically. I was crying, praying to the Lord that He would just wash it up on the shore. When my husband sat down in the sand holding his head I knew I had to hug him and assure him it was ok and let him know a ring could be replaced and our love is strong and not to let the devil steal our joy. We walked back to our room no longer wanting to go out to eat because we were both sick to our stomachs. I began searching our extended warranty for Kays jewelry and « Lost or Stolen Rings » were not a part of our plan. So I searched the « Possibility of finding a ring in the ocean » when I came across « theringfinders.com » and gave Mike a call. He was very professional and answered in just a few rings and said he would come out to our Inn and help us. That night after speaking to Mike my husband and I searched the piles of seaweed along the shore continuing to pray over the ring and the ocean and the man who was gonna drive over a hundred miles to help us. Mike met us at 6:45am the next morning and put on his gear and started into the ocean. As I watched the sun come up I took some amazing photos and videos and in the sunrise appeared a cross shining through the sun as though God was lighting the path for him to search the ocean. We began getting anxious because large waves were coming in making it difficult to even stand and we walked back to our room. About an hour had passed and at 8:08am Mike messaged us and told us to come down to the beach. He had me going at first thinking he had to cover more ground when all of a sudden he revealed he had found the ring! Tears of joy and happiness streamed down my face and I hugged him and thanked him for what he did. Without God and this man our wedding ring would still be in the ocean …a horrible thing to remember about our honeymoon! God heard the cries of our hearts and we are forever grateful for Mike and all the Lords blessings. I would highly recommend him to anyone! Thank you so much Mike! »
