Reciced a call about a Lost wedding ring at work mid week… I talked with Nathan bout what had happened…… He said he was working on his daughters swing set group making it even….  He said at some point he looked on his hand  and his ring was gone…. He said it must have slipped off while doing the dirt work on the swing set…. I immediately started searching ( thinking it was gonna be a very short search nope it wasn’t)…. I asked Nathan what  is the probability it was in the small area he was working in he said 99.9 percent… I asked him what he was wearing while working he said a pair of shorts… Nathan went and looked in the shorts he didn’t find it. »….  I said ok let’s go….. unfortunately while I searching Nathan had to return to work…. Nathan’s wife came outside and I started to chat with her…. About about an hour and a half  said to Nathan’s wife I’m pretty sure it wasn’t here in the back yard as the back yard was small…. I was covering the dirt pile and asked his wife what he was wearing she said a pair of shorts….. I told her I asked him the same question… I asked her to go search his shorts again she said ok…. Im looking around again and I hear from the side of the house…. Nathan’s wife came around on the side and said I found it… I said no way…. She looked again in his shorts and there it was…. I texted Nathan and showed him my ring he said no that’s not it but that it was a good find …. So five minutes later I texted him his ring and he said yup that’s my ring…. He had lost it the previous day….. thank you Nathan for getting ahold of me so soon…….

A few days ago Trey handed his gold chain and charm to his friend for safekeeping before he went swimming in the ocean in Ocean City, NJ. Unfortunately, his friend dropped the charm in the sand during the transfer. The jewelry is very sentimental to Trey because it once belonged to his grandfather Joe. His grandfather was a World War II Veteran and one of the oldest living World War II Veterans at the time of his passing last year at age 98. Trey reached out to me and asked if I could help find the charm. He gave me the general location of where it could be and I went out to search for it. After around an hour of gridding the beach, the charm was recovered. Trey was elated when I called him to let him know it was found.

Caddo Lake Lost Ring Mishap on a Kayak

Drove  out to Caddo Lake for an individual to look for two very special rings. She is a nature photographer by trade (& a very good one) and had taken her rings off and placed them in the fold of her lap/shirt while in the kayak to get a pic of a bird.  Excited about the pic she continued to kayak around the cove snapping pictures and when it was time to head back in she paddled to the spot where she entered the lake.  Feeling the solid ground beneath the kayak she stood up to exit the craft and her rings plopped in the murky water.  In her panic to recover the rings she placed her camera equipment on shore and tried to feel around beneath the water to no avail. In the span of just a few hours she had purchased two different types of metal detectors and even tried to shovel clumps of Muddy Muck   from the edge of the lake.  However, a park ranger did not see the humor in that, made her stop and told her to call someone professional but that she was not to dig again.  She called us.  Due to the metal garbage in the lake we had to first remove all things that set off our detectors and then proceed to concentrate on the jewelry specified sounds.  One of her rings belonged to her mother (who recently passed away) and the other was her engagement ring.  After a couple hours searching thru the mud and the muck We found one beautiful ring which had belong to her mother.  The engagement ring is still elusive and we will have to travel back to continue the search another day.

Lake Lewisville, Tx New High School Ring in the lake 😔

Received a call from a young lady who was almost in tears that needed our help in finding her newly acquired 2022 high school graduation ring that unknowingly came off while swimming in Lake Lewisville. Since it was already at the end of the day but close enough to go view the area we met her about 7:00pm.  After accessing the beach area and the size of the area she had been swimming in we knew how to tackle this problem first thing the next morning.  After gridding off the search area we began to hunt; luckily enough it was little more than chest high in some areas but very murky.  It took about 2 hours, along with avoiding other swimmers who came to enjoy the day, but she now has her beautiful ring back on her finger.

Pottsboro, Tx – Her Father buried $300,000 in the backyard, Did we Find it All?

We got a call from Alberta, Canada from a very nice lady named Heidi, she said that her father had passed and that she was the executor of the estate in Pottsboro, Texas.  She said her father was a Prepper and a Horder.  He had left her an envelope with instructions on where he had buried up to $300,000 in silver coins in his backyard.

The family was able to find and dig up up what they believed at the time was all of the PVC Tubes with the coins from the yard.  But they were concerned that maybe there were others buried in the yard someplace.  They just wanted to be sure before selling the property.

So she ask us to scan the property to be sure nothing was left and to reopen all the PVC tubes that they knew about to be sure everything had been removed, and it had.

It was 95 degrees on Fathers Day morning at 8am to do our search.  We searched the entire backyard and then dug up the PVC Tubes where the known coins had been found.  It was thrilling to think that so much in coins had been buried there.  It really was like digging for buried treasure.

It was a great day and another satisfied customer for the Dallas Ring Finders…

Lost Rings…Found Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Contact:

I was contacted by a woman who lost her engagement ring and wedding band while cooling off in about four feet of water at a city park.

She met me there today and stood in about the same area and I was able to recover both rings. It was gratifying to return her rings. I think she said the engagement ring was 50 years old and was handed down in the family.

Dallas, Tx – 72 yr old Alzheimers wife hides all her jewelry and silverware

We received a call from an 86-year-old gentleman who said his 72-yr old wife (who has Alzheimers) had hidden his last set of keys to his car and he needed our help desperately and then he began to cry, it nearly broke my heart; secondly he told me that over the last two years she has hidden all of her jewelry and all of their silver somewhere in their 4000 sq ft home and beautiful yard in Dallas.. we said we would come right out. We went over, checked out the home as the couple had lived there 38 years and had lots of things in the home presenting lots of challenges.  We set up a schedule to come back on a weekly basis to continue the search and go room by room, item by item, which is something very unusual for us to do.  Using our Garrett Pinpointer‘s today we finished our first four hours of searching & found several sets of earrings,  a beautiful lapis bracelet  and some other miscellaneous items that he was very happy to get back. We’re going back again next week as we’re focusing on a very expensive necklace and very special pair of earrings that are missing  totaling somewhere in the area of $35,000 – $70,000 in total jewelry cost.  We consider this as part of our “forgotten fortune” category.  We will keep  you guys updated as we go forward.

Lost Wedding Band Dropped From Boat Dock Found In Cape Carteret, NC

  • from Emerald Isle (North Carolina, United States)

Mike was earlier doing some cleaning using various soaps.  Later that evening while relaxing on his boat dock with his wife he began to clean some of the soap residue from his figures.  It was a relaxing afternoon to sit, relax and enjoy the view and a beverage.  Mike started to clean his ring finger when the ring shot off of his finger, over his back and into the Intracoastal Waterway.

After getting the details, a through search began in the very soft muck bottom.  After 3 pieces of garbage were removed from the bottom a very good tone sounded off from my Minelab Excalibur II very close to the dock post.  My Garrett AT Pro-Pointer was used to search the shallow water for the tone.  A handful of muck with a shell and Mike’s wedding band was brought out of the water while Mike stood over his ring as it was lifted from the waterway.

METAL DETECTING  FOR A LOST RING IN JACKSONVILLE, FL. FOUND AND RETURNED .. Call or Text Adam someone you can trust.  714-785-5111

**I received a call from a young frantic man who had only been married 1 month. He told me he went to the beach with his family over the Memorial Day Weekend and while packing up noticed his gold & diamond wedding ring was missing. He said he searched the entire area of the beach where they were and even the next day went and bought a metal detector still unable to find his ring. He lived out of State and was on is way home. I asked if a family member could meet me at the beach and show me the area he believed he lost the ring.  I searched the entire area and was unable to find the ring. I asked if he had been in the water? He told me he only went into the water to wash his hands but he made sure the ring was still on his finger when he got out of the water. He was positive the ring was not lost in the water. I checked the tide charts and decided to return later in the day. After searching the water area I was able to find his wedding ring.  Happy Wife = Happy Life…..
