Gold Ring FOUND in the lake off Toronto Center Island

  • from Toronto (Ontario, Canada)

Leo Paul contacted me about losing his anniversary ring in the water off Toronto center island.  Once we located the search area I found the ring in 5 minutes!

Another Happy Customer 🙂

This is what Leo Paul said « Early June 2025 while I was in Greece I was given a beautiful 18kt gold ring for our 10th anniversary. 2wks after our return, I was out on Toronto island beach chest deep & my ring fell off. We tried ourselves to find it with no such luck. I was totally distraught. Once I arrived home, I knew I had to do everything possible to try to find it as my heart was still in Lake Ontario. With my online search is where I located PAUL DAVIES… Paul really made a miracle come true. 9 days after the incident, here we go, we were about 200’ away from the shore chest deep… his incredible ability to really concentrate on my directions, within a few minutes, magic happened and he held my shinny gold ring above the water and said, come get your missing star. It was an indescribable experience full of emotions in the moment of realizing I was reunited with something that was so important and meaningful to me. So again, a HUGE THANK YOU to PAUL DAVIES, for believing in incredible happy endings. Paul really deserves a Gold Medal. Like I said, afterall there is gold at the end of the rainbow. »

She said she was on the hammock just to the left of where i searched. I found her ring in 5 minutes!

She was OVERJOYED with emotion & gave me a BIG hug! I was SO happy for her.

Treasured Wedding Gift Earring FOUND under water off dock

  • from Toronto (Ontario, Canada)

Here is Karen’s story… « After having a lovely swim at a friend’s cottage, I discovered one of my diamond earrings was missing.   I was upset as they were a treasured wedding gift from my Mother.   A few of us used snorkel goggles to search several times , but it was difficult due to the depth, low light and mixed rock/sand lake bottom and we were unsuccessful. Two days later, I found Paul Davies information on the Ring Finders website.   I texted him and he responded very quickly.   He asked some clarifying questions and we briefly spoke about the potential to find a small piece of jewelry on a lake bottom.   Due to the sentimental connection of the earring, I decided to hire Paul and I was lucky he had time to do the search later that same day.
Paul was very professional, communicative and friendly throughout the process. The lake was a 2+ hour drive away from Paul’s location, he let me know his expected arrival time and also confirmed his departure time.  Paul arrived at the time stated, was friendly, courteous, and quickly started the search.
I was so relieved and ecstatic when Paul found the earring.  Paul is obviously an expert — using his equipment, knowledge,  keen eyes and skill in jewelry finding!
I would wholeheartedly recommend Paul Davies jewelry finding services.

Key FOB – FOUND in gully off Toronto street

  • from Toronto (Ontario, Canada)

sorry folks, I’m behind on my posts…

In September 2023, Derek was cycling along Danforth St near downtown Toronto & reached into his pocket to get something & when he pulled his hand out, his car FOB went air borne into the gully.  I showed up with my trust Fisher CZ21 detector & found the Fob in less than 30 minutes.

Derek said « My experience with Paul Davies was exceptional. He was on time, well prepared and very professional. He came with a ton of experience and found the item I had lost within the time frame. He single handedly saved me around $1000 in replacement fees. I would highly recommend his services to anyone. »

A VERY happy customer, who just saved having to spend $1000+ for a new Fob.  🙂

Heirloom wedding ring found with metal detector in Huntington Beach

  • from Sunset Beach (California, United States)

Tom lost his ring while tossing a ball for his dog at dog beach in Huntington Beach, Ca. He said the ring used to be his father’s and I could tell it was really special to him. I met him down by the water where the loss occurred and started gridding the area. About 15 or 20 minutes without a single signal I got a high tone and right away I knew it was hitting on the silver and gold ring. Tom was very happy to get this special ring back.

Engagement Ring Found At Fun Park, South Haven, MI

Fun park, animals, activities, blueberries and pumpkins. Kelcey texted me stating she lost her engagement ring and needed help finding it. She was on a field trip with her 6 yr. old niece when the ring came up missing. She saw the ring on her finger at the start of their visit and when riding back from the pumpkin patch on the wagon she noticed her ring missing. She and her fiance Matt had searched a couple of times even using a metal detector with no success. The thought was that the ring must have been lost when picking up her niece few times on their trip thru the park or having her niece on her lap in the wagon. I called my friend, Tom, to help me in this search as it could cover a big area. Tom and I met Kelcey and Matt at the site and we started to search the path she had taken thru the park. We were out on the trail next to the pumpkin patch when Matt spotted the ring laying right in the middle of the trail that the tractor and wagon had taken. Maybe the ring came off while her niece was on her lap and then dropped off the wagon. Matt was the hero for the day and we all celebrated the find. The wedding date is still in the planning stage and so happy to have the precious ring back on her finger.

Calimesa Newlywed’s Platinum Ring Falls Off While Playing With Dog- FOUND!!

  • from Corona (California, United States)

I received a frantic text message from Loni yesterday stating “My husband and I just got married last Saturday, October 11th, and he lost his platinum wedding band in our back yard on Monday. We’ve been searching endlessly with no luck. Is there any chance you’d be available and willing to help us?” I responded that sure, I would come out.

Upon arriving, I met Loni, and her husband, Jesse. Jesse told me they had been searching for a week trying to find the ring and they even bought a metal detector but didn’t really know how to use it, only finding nails and metal. Jesse said he was wearing a jacket with longer sleeves and took their dog outside to play. He pointed out two areas of the backyard where he was flapping his arms “like a chicken” and said he believed the ring came off there.

Standing by the first spot in the yard, I had him put the jacket on and I pulled out my test men’s band and handed it to him and told him to let it go as he was re-creating his « flapping » so that I could get an idea of where it might fly or fall to. Surprisingly, it fell almost straight down by his feet. So I started my search of the tall grass in a grid pattern, spreading my search pattern out as I wasn’t getting the signals I was looking for.

I went to the 2nd area and repeated my grid search, still with no luck. I was beginning to second guess myself. So I re-contacted Jesse and asked him to tell me what he was doing and where, right from the point of leaving the house. It turns out he had walked over to the unattached laundry room with the dog, which has a large tree and grassy area adjacent to it. But he said he wasn’t really playing with the dog then. He also added that they had been searching there too.

We walked over to the area and I started to search the grass. I had just swung the detector and saw a shining perfect thin circle in the grass. It was a ring. I picked it up and asked him if his ring looked like that? He got very excited saying that it did, and he hugged me and called out for Loni. Both were happy beyond belief! I was very happy that I could unite this newlywed with his wedding band, especially learning later the ring had been passed down.

Don’t waste your money on a metal detector you won’t know how to use and get yourself all frustrated. Call or text me right away!

Got a call yesterday from someone who had lost her car keys while walking in a huge dog park. I called back and we arranged a search for late afternoon. We met and she told me the area that it should be. I searched until dark with no luck. We arranged to meet again this morning.

We started the morning by going to the area where she had gone into the woods to retrieve a mischievous dog. Shortly after, I got a good signal, moved some leaves and there they were!

She was so happy. I love the successes!!! She told me to thank my wife for being so supportive of my time consuming hobby!
