I received an email from a gentleman requesting help in locating an engagement ring and wedding ring belonging to his wife that had been lost in the front yard of their residence. The gentleman stated that his wife had lost the rings in their front yard while she was mowing the grass with a push mower and after putting on sun screen. I arrived at the private residence, interviewed the gentleman and then began my search of the front yard. After about fifteen minutes of searching I was able to locate the wedding band with no problem. After searching the rest of the front yard for about two hours the engagement ring refused to be found.

Lost Mens Palladium Wedding Band at Dewey Beach, Del. Found……….

I received a call from a gentleman regarding a mens palladium wedding band that had been lost on the beach. The ring was lost in an area of the beach that still had a large puddle of water from the high tide cycle and had fallen off the clients finger while he was running around the beach playing with his nephews. I was directed to the area of the lost ring and after starting a grid search, I recovered the ring on my second pass. I learned that the ring was very special to the owner as he and his wife had designed the ring themselves.  Another happy client!!

On 07/31/11 @ 10:19 am, I received a phone call from a young lady who had lost her 14kt Gold Diamond Engagement Ring on the Beach at the Delaware Seashore State Park Bethany Beach, Delaware. The ring slipped off of her finger and fell into the dry sand while she was applying suntan oil. The sand had been searched for about one hour without any luck before I received the phone call. I arrived at the beach and found that the area of the lost ring had been marked with beach towels. I began my search and with three swings of the detector I received a familiar gold tone. I used my sand scoop to carefully recover the ring and as the sand filtered through my scoop the ring appeared. The young lady gave a cheerful yell as she said « He’s got it, I see it! ».  Another great recovery!

On Sunday 06/12/11, I received a phone call from a gentleman who had lost his wedding band on the beach while helping a DJ who was working wedding. I arrived at the scene of the lost ring and was taken to the area of where the ring had been lost. The gentleman said that he had been using his hand to clean off a table and that the ring had slipped off during the side to side sweeping motion of his hand. The gentleman pointed to the area where he believed the ring had landed in the sand. I then began my search, after about ten swings of the detector and about eight footsteps I received a gold tone. Then with two scoops of my sand scoop the ring was recovered and there were smiles all around. The gentleman and his wife  were really happy that his ring was recovered. What a great ending!
