« I had such an amazing experience today when John and his friend Rich came to look for my ring! I had lost all hope I’ve had someone else come to search for it before and I had such low expectations. I was just going to try it as a last resort but gosh am I glad I did! They started searching and I was watching for a bit just to see if they would get anything quickly. I then went to the grocery store with the kiddos because I needed to grab a few things. Rich texted me to see if I was coming back soon and told him I was checking out at the register. Came home and John told me that rich wanted to ask me a question. I said of course with baby in hand walking down the yard I saw John turn his GoPro on and at first I was kind confused then I come down and Rich walks up and asks to see my picture of my ring again. Then as soon as I show him he goes looks a lot like this one doesn’t it? And I full blown cried. I am so thankfully for them today. They did an absolutely amazing job and I am so beyond thankful. I cannot express it enough!! These guys will find it if you can’t! I promise you! Thank you again so much. »
Lost Wedding Band Found! Doylestown PA John Favano
Mark lost his wedding band while splitting wood in his backyard this past weekend. He removed his gloves a few times during the process and thought the ring must have come off that way. He searched the area for a few hours and even went as far as to disassemble the cord of wood to look for it. I received a call from his wife Lindsay yesterday who told me about the situation, and we planned to meet today. After a few passes with the Equinox, I found the ring in the soil under a pile of leaves. The ring is now back where it belongs!

Lost Sentimental Earring Lost In Cherry Hill NJ, Found By Dave Milsted the Metal Detecting Man
Received an email from Jonathan earlier in the week. He asked if I could help him learn the metal detector that he just bought. I asked what was going on. He said his wife lost a sentimental earring somewhere in their yard. He bought a detector and he tested it on the earring that she didn’t lose and it didn’t beep.
I asked what kind of earring it was. He said it was a stud earring. I told him that studs are one of the hardest things to find due to the small amount of metal. I told him that I could come out and look for him.
We decided on Saturday morning. He showed me the area that they believed it was in, it was rather large. I brought 2 machines, my Equinox 800 and my Tiger Shark. I tested on the earring that they had. Both machines registered. I searched with the Nox it came up as a 1 on the meter.
I started searching. There were a lot of targets. There was 1 area of tin foil slaw (an area of small pieces of tin foil the was probably run over with a lawn mower). That slaw came up as 1 on the Nox.
Just over an hour into the search I was at the swing set. I got a 1 on the Nox. Looked through the grass and saw the earring. The post was bent. I had placed the other earring in a plastic baggie so I would lose it and could place it on the ground to test it. I put the one I just found in it and started walking to my truck.
Jonathan came out of the house and said I guess you didn’t find it. I asked if there was anywhere else that she might have been. I asked if they went through her car? I said let me give you this one back. He started to put the bag in his pocket without looking at it.
I said I might have bent the post. so he looked at the bag. The look on his face when he saw 2 earrings in the bag was priceless. He might be trading in his metal detector for a better one.
Found! Engagement Ring And Wedding Bands North Wildwood NJ By John Favano
Jennifer was on the beach in North Wildwood, NJ this afternoon when she had the misfortune of having her engagement ring and wedding bands slip off of her finger into the ocean during high tide while helping one of children with a towel. I met with Anna, Jennifer’s mom, and started a search after asking several questions about the lost rings. After about 25 minutes detecting in the ocean, the engagement ring was found approximately 6 inches deep. The other 2 rings were found in the surf just minutes later approximately 25 feet from the engagement ring. The rings are very sentimental to Jennifer, so she and her family were overwhelmed when they were recovered. Thanks goes out fellow Ring Finder Jeff Lagg for the referral.
