Lost Women’s Engagement Ring Found!! NRH, Texas

  • from Fort Worth (Texas, United States)

I received a call Tuesday morning from Ladonna February 20, 2024
She was working in her front yard cleaning out the garden and raking up leaves when she lost her gold engagement ring with a solitary diamond. I told her I would come out this afternoon and locate it for her. I arrived around 3:00 pm and she showed me the area. I video taped this search. She was watching and after about 15 minutes I found it but did not tell her. I started the camera and went over to tell her I didn’t think it was in this area, while she turned away I held out the ring, when she  turned back towards me she got the surprise and her response was priceless.  I’m so glad I made her day. Thank you Lodonna for the experience and thank you for the reward!!!

Keys Lost in the Snow at a Calgary Toboggan Hill

  • from Cochrane (Alberta, Canada)

His son was sledding while he walked the dog. Somewhere in between, his keys disappeared. He bought a metal detector and spent 3 hours looking. Then he found me. He wished he had found me first.  Anyone want to buy his metal detector? The video below has lots of ideas that may help you if you have lost an item in the snow.

No pictures available.

Evan was very professional and efficient, within a couple of minutes he was able to find a set of keys that I lost on a hill covered in snow. My only regret is not calling him earlier

Nicholas called wondering if I could come out and locate his wife’s lost engagement ring. She had lost it in some very tall grass on a small hillside, and he was unable to find it. I told him I would come and do a search for him, gathered my equipment, and was on my way.

When I got there Nicholas was waiting for me. He was able to explain how the ring was lost, and was able to narrow down the area where it might have gone. The grass was fresh, and pliable so I was able to sweep the coil to lean the grass over, and get as close to the ground as possible. It took only about 10 minutes to find the ring, and when I showed Nicholas, he was very happy knowing the ring was safe for his wife of only about 6 months. It was great knowing that something that was thought lost forever was able to be reunited again.

Lost Men’s Wedding Band at Aulani Beach Ko Olina Resort…FOUND!!!

  • from O‘ahu (Hawaii, United States)

This ring find began when I got a text last night from Kristofer who lives in Southern California and was on his Honeymoon with his lovely wife Jizelle and staying at Aulani Resort.  He found me on the RingFinders site.  Kristofer texted just as he entered the water his ring slipped off and disappeared in knee deep water.  Looking at the surf report the west side was forecast for 40 foot surf tomorrow so I told him I’d come first thing in the morning.  Kristofer gave me a decent description of the search area so when I arrived the next morning I started an immediate hunt.  About twenty minutes into the hunt I got a screaming target in chest deep water and surprisingly it was the ring.  Must of had some major wave action over night for the ring to get that deep.  In any case, I called Kristofer with the good news and him and Jizelle came down to the beach for the return.  We had a few laughs and hugs and they were obviously overjoyed that the ring was back on his finger.  Aloha to Kristofer & Jizelle!

Lost Ring found in Key West Florida

  • from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada)

I’ve been in Florida for the last little while enjoying the nice winter weather and doing some detecting. I met with my Key West member Alex who helps a lot of people out here, I met his friends Dorothy and Mary Lou, who were detecting the beach.at night after the crowds went home.

It was relatively a slow night loaded with the typical garbage, bottle caps, pull tabs & some coins. That night I did manage to find one ring. I believe it was a prayer ring with the lords prayer on it and some crosses. I showed Dorothy and Mary Lou and Mary Lu really liked it, I said you can have it because the chances of finding the owner were very slim as this is a tourist destination, and people come and go.

The other thing was someone should’ve found Alex right away because he has such a strong presence here and people know him and let others know to call him If anybody loses anything on these beaches… he’s the man.

Would you believe the next day I was doing a little night hunting at the same beach, a young man came up and asked for help looking for his Lost Ring exactly where I found it the day before. I knew this was the owner and I also knew I gave the ring away… Boy was I embarrassed! I called Alex and asked if he could call Dorothy and explain the situation and Dorothy’s friend Mary Lou had no problem giving back the ring for me to give to this young man.

LOST GOLD HEIRLOOM IN GREENSBORO, NC…….FOUND!

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)

Back on November 12th 2023 a lady called me and said her niece had lost a very sentimental family heirloom gold ring in a patch of ivy while visiting from California for a wedding.

The niece had already left to go back to California. She was so heartbroken she had lost the ring. It was about a two hour drive, but I jumped in the truck and made my way out to try and find it. By the time I got there it was going to be dark in about an hour.

In just a few mins I had found the ring in the ivy and was able to return it to the aunt.

Fast forward three months later and I finally get a picture of the niece with her lost ring back on her finger again!

This gold ring was 1 of my 360 total rings I found in 2023!

Thank you for reading my blog, please tell your friends about TheRingFinders.com

I received a text from Marcia wanting to know if I could possibly help her find her lost wedding ring in the grass in front of her business. I answered immediately with a few questions of my own…like what were you doing when you lost your ring? And when did this happen and did you actually feel it come off? Marcia responded saying she felt it come off and knows the exact area where she was standing when that happened and I assured her that it should be easy enough to find her lost ring? There are times when trying to locate a lost ring that it can be very difficult and the answers to all my questions help me determine the likely hood and possibilities of actually finding it. Marcia was thrilled to hear that I could come out the following day and conduct a thorough search.

After meeting Marcia and hearing the details of how she lost her ring I began my search. She said her ring was loose and on the small side…a size 5 to be exact and made of white gold. It took about 10 minutes to cover the small target area and I thought I had checked thoroughly every target that rang up in the small gold range but I was not able to find her lost ring. So I expanded the search area thinking that maybe it flew further than what we first calculated…and still I came up with no ring. This prompted me to grid search the same target area again only this time going perpendicular to my original search. I again checked every obvious and some « not so obvious » targets and then..BEEP, BEEP! A reading of « 44 » on my ATMax, Garrett metal detector in ZERO Mode indicated a good, shallow signal and there was Marcia’s lost wedding ring just hiding down in the grass. I wondered how I actually missed it the first time but the most important thing was…that we found it! I left it right there in the grass and had Marcia come and look where it had landed and we marveled at how easily it had vanished in the grass! After 27 years of married life she was able to wear her ring without that sinking feeling of having lost it. It truly is an honor to help those in need of theringfinders unique services and I thank God for leading me to Marcia’s lost ring and for the opportunity to be a blessing in her life.
