His ring means so much as he wife has past a few month ago. Many Blessing to him and his family.

Lost Hearing Aid Found – Raleigh

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)

I got a call from Don, a nice gentleman who had lost a hearing aid while working outside on his property. I said I’d be happy to come out and see if I could find it for him — I then checked the property on Google Maps. Holy Cow! Don’s property was about 8 1/2 acres! (I could search for days and not cover it all.) Don met me when I arrived and explained that he knew exactly where the hearing aid had gotten lost. He’d been pruning a bush and when he turned his body, a branch snagged the little wire that connects the « in-your-ear » part of the hearing aid with the « behind-your-ear » part. He felt it come off and after checking his ear, was positive he had the location nailed down. He put a little landscaping flag in the ground so I could search in the correct spot. The most likely scenario was that the hearing aid had been « launched » by the branch into the bush he’d been trimming, so that’s where I started my search. Using two different detectors, I spent probably 20 minutes covering that bush top to bottom and side to side — no luck. I turned to back out a little bit and widen my search, when I saw the hearing aid caught on a branch, most probably the branch that plucked it out of his ear in the first place.

I took the hearing aid over to Don who was extremely happy that he didn’t have to buy a replacement (if you don’t wear hearing aids, you may not know – these things are not cheap!). It’s usually about putting a ring back on a finger, a necklace back around a neck, or a bracelet back on a wrist, so putting a hearing aid back in an ear was a first for me! Another happy ending!

Wedding Ring Found – Cary!

  • from Raleigh (North Carolina, United States)

I got a text from Vinit, who explained that he had been playing volleyball on a sand court and lost his platinum engagement ring. He had posted signs around the court in case someone else playing on that court found it, but when he texted me, no one had called him. This was one of those rare occasions when the person knew exactly where they were when the jewelry was lost, the item was lost in sand (which is great to detect in), and it was in a place with almost no trash to complicate things. It took me only about 10 minutes to find Vinit’s ring and get it back on his finger where it belonged. Quick recovery, happy ending!

LOST RING IN IOWA, LOUISIANA – FOUND

Emerson called me on Memorial Day weekend to help find a ring he lost while cutting the grass. We agreed that I would travel to the site on Tuesday. The area was a 3-acre grassed site behind his office.  He cut it with a zero-turn lawnmower. The area was level and the grass was short.  Trash had jammed the blade at one point. He thought the ring may have come off his finger as he was clearing the blade. I set up a 30’ x 40’ box around the area and began searching from one corner. Fifteen seconds later the detector sounded, and the ring was recovered.

Thank you, Emerson, for your very generous reward!

Tracy was working in her Bulverde Texas back yard and lost not one but TWO of her rings. She Googled finding a ring and discovered me on of TheRingFinders.com website. Tracy called and we we set up a time to find her rings. The day of the search arrived and I drove the 55 miles to Tracy’s home. Tracy explained what she was doing when she lost the rings and I started searching with my Garrett AT Pro. It didn’t take too long and the gold tone rang from my detector. Ring #1 found. I proceeded to search in another corner of the yard and Bingo! Ring #2 found. Tracy was very excited and very thankful when she placed the rings back on her fingers again.

Lost Heirloom Gold Necklace Found By Crystal Coast Ring Finders Metal Detector Service – Emerald Isle, NC

Morgan was spending time with his family in Emerald Isle.  While on the beach, Morgan decided to go surfing with his brother and removed his necklace before heading out into the surf.  Upon returning, he had forgot about the necklace and packed up quickly and left the beach.  Morgan stated he and 12 other people searched for 3 hours that same evening and he came back the following morning to search for 2 additional hours and could not find his lost heirloom necklace.  Morgan reached out to me later that morning and I arrived shortly afterwards to meet Morgan’s father.  Morgan needed to get back home (out of town) and his father showed me the search area on the beach.  It took me less than 30 minutes to pull Morgan’s lost necklace from the high tide line of the beach.  This was a very memorable recovery and everyone involved was so thankful.  (Morgan’s father in the recovery photo)

Diamond Ring Lost in Prairie Village

  • from Kansas City (Missouri, United States)

Stacie lost her 14K white gold and diamond ring and narrowed the likely hiding place down to the backyard or the pool.  Renting a metal detector to no avail led her to me.  After eliminating the backyard, we located her gorgeous keepsake at the bottom of the pool.  Another happy customer and the smile says it all!

Ring lost at Coronado found

  • from La Jolla (California, United States)

Aaron called me saying that his fiancee Katie lost her engagement ring in the dry sand. She had removed it to apply some lotion, set it in her hat, and in the process of them setting up the umbrella and blanket, the ring ended up missing. Later, they had also moved to another location in the wet sand 80 feet away, so, it could be there also. I started in the dry sand which was the most likely. Aaron pointed out the original spot where they had the umbrella planted, so, I started just to the side of that. First pass, nothing, but, two thirds of the way back on the second pass, I got the sweet sound that rang up a solid 25 on my Equinox 900. Poked the pin pointer into the sand and pulled out a beautiful gold ring. A tearful Katie was so happy to have her precious love token back again. A pleasure to meet you both and thank you for the reward.
