Wedding ring lost in ocean, Daytona Beach, Florida recovered by Mike McInroe, Florida Ring Finder!

I was given the wonderful opportunity to look for and find a lost ring in the Atlantic Ocean for Jason and his family and here is what Jason wrote me yesterday.  « The first day of our Daytona Beach vacation started poorly when I realized, while still in the ocean on our first swim of the trip, that my wedding ring had slipped off my finger.  With crashing waves all around, I aimlessly looked for it but gave up hope of ever seeing it again.  Thankfully, the next morning I was feeling at least a bit optimistic and started Googling for solutions.  My searches led me to theringfinders.com and to Mike.  He picked up the phone right away and within minutes we had a plan of attack for the very next day at low tide.  He filled me with hope from that first phone call and all of a sudden I started to think that maybe finding my ring wasn’t a lost cause after all.  The next day, he set up a grid over a fairly large area that I was most confident it had been lost in  and he got to work methodically scanning one grid section at a time and pushing further out into the ocean as the tide moved out.  In less than 90 minutes he’d found my lost ring!  My wife and I couldn’t believe it!  It felt so good to have it back on my finger again.  Thank you Mike, for everything you did for me and my wife.  You saved our vacation and gave us a lasting story to share with friends and family!  Jason »

It’s fall, and rings get lost in the leaves, not just on the beach!
Howard and his wife Gayle were doing some yard work the other day. Later that afternoon, Howard realized his wedding band had gone missing. He did a Google search and found Ringfinderssouthjersey.com. After reading some of the reviews, he decided to give them a call. I spoke with him, and we met up later that afternoon. I began the search with my metal detector and, after just a few minutes of searching, the ring was found! Howard and Gayle were overjoyed. What a great ending to the day! n the realm of lost treasures, love and sentiment hold unparalleled value. When Chrissy lost her beloved engagement and wedding ring on the beach in Ocean City, NJ, their hearts sank. Dave spent an hour or two searching, and he could not find them.

Chrissy called me for help from Facebook and my page Ring Finders South Jersey. I spoke to her and met Dave, her husband 20 minutes later.

I began my search after getting the details of how they were lost in the sand. Having the general idea of the location. The kids dug a large hole that was a starting point. I was able to find both rings very quickly!

While enjoying the bonfire on the beach in North Wildwood, NJ, Anthony lost his hearing aid in the sand. Upon receiving a call for assistance, I promptly arrived at the scene. After gathering some details about the incident, I began my search with the help of my metal detector.

Despite an hour and a half of meticulous searching, success eluded me. I decided it would be best to resume the search after the bonfire was over and the area was clear. Upon my return, I expanded the search perimeter and digging out several other targets.

Finally, after countless swings of my metal detector and a few hours of dedicated searching, I found the missing hearing aid! I immediately called Valerie to relay the good news. Al soon met me at the scene, and I handed over the hearing aid.

The day concluded on a happy note, transforming a potential disaster into a joyful ending.

Lindsey texted me saying she had dropped her engagement ring off of a dock and into 7 feet of water and weeds and asked if there was any way I could help her and her husband! They had been sitting on the dock and enjoying the cool evening breeze and Lindsey said she was kind of fiddling with her 2 rings and all of a sudden they both slipped off and she happened to actually catch her wedding band but her engagement ring fell to the deck and then she heard it hit the water. Her dear husband Cole, spent a total of 6 hours diving and trying desperately to find her ring but to no avail. A search on line led them to one of my stories on theringfinders.com web site and after talking with them I agreed to conduct a scuba dive search around the dock. Neither one of them had actually seen where the ring fell into the water so I figured to start right under where they were sitting. My wife and I arrived later that day with all my gear and as I suited up I said a short prayer to God Almighty and asked that He might help me find this special ring and be a blessing to this dear, young, newly wed couple! Normally there are lots of metal targets under docks but here it was super quiet as I swept my XP MI-6 pin pointer through the mud and slowly made my way across the back side of the dock. I had stuck a 10 foot PVC pole down into the water about where we were able to determine the most likely area where Lindsey’s ring could have rolled and landed…and we were right on target! Five minutes into the dive and the very first signal that sounded off was Lindsey’s lost engagement ring! I swam back to my starting point and stood up and took off my mask and said, « Anyone want to see what I just found? »

Dalton had been chasing waves in North Wildwood, NJ, during the storm. Prior to surfing, he removed his lost wedding band, a cherished family heirloom that belonged to his grandfather, and entrusted it to his brother for safekeeping. Unfortunately, the ring went missing. With Dalton not in the area and unable to meet me in person, he sent a photo of the area where the ring was last seen.

I used a grid search of the area. Despite my thorough efforts, I found no trace of the wedding band. I decided to broaden my search parameters. After some time, my metal detector emitted a promising mid-tone signal. Dalton’s cherished ring emerged from the sand!

I lost my 1962 heirloom wedding ring in the sand while surfing in Wildwood. I had to catch the ferry back to DE and had to leave. Nick was walking his dog along the beach in Cape May, New Jersey when his gold wedding band slipped off his finger and disappeared into the sand. It was only later that he realized his ring was missing and, sought my help to find it. I arrived about thirty minutes later and got some more details from Nick before starting the search. We initially focused on the area where he had rested with his dog, but the ring was nowhere to be found. Thus, I decided to expand our search along the route he had taken. Approximately 200 feet from our starting point and about an hour later my metal detector emitted a promising sound, there it was, Nick’s missing wedding band! A Great day in Cape May, NJ.

Dan and his family were enjoying the first day of vacation in Ocean City, NJ when his wife Christy lost her ring.

She took the ring off to apply sunscreen to her grandson and forgot it was on her knee. Later that evening Christy realized that it was missing. Dan reached out to me the next day and we met up on the beach. I started searching the area and the ring was scooped out of the sand shortly after!

Skyler lost his wedding band on the beach in Avalon, NJ. He put the ring in the mesh pocket of his beach chair, and it dropped into the sand when he pulled something else out it. Skyler, his wife and their friends made a good attempt to find it but didn’t have any success, so he gave me a call. I met everyone on the beach and the ring was found a few minutes later. Dev was visiting friends in Sea Isle City, NJ for a few days when he realized his wedding band had gone missing in the sand. He suspected that it might have fallen out of his beach bag. Despite searching extensively, he was unable to locate the ring. Dev decided to reach out to me for help. Promptly responding to his call, I arrived at the scene within 20 minutes. Equipped with my metal detector, I meticulously conducted a grid search pattern. After a short while, the wedding band was in the scoop!
