Gold Wedding Band Lost, Recovered & Returned in Yardley, PA!

  • from Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, United States)

Received a Saturday afternoon text from Joel regarding his lost gold wedding band. We immediately got on the phone and he told me he was working with his garden hose in his backyard the day before when he felt the ring slip off is finger while pulling the hose from the storage wheel. He was convinced it fell right there in the 3-4 inch high grass….he searched for hours on hands/knees, raked the area and even bought a metal detector on amazon….but he could not find it! He mentioned his lost ring to a friend….and it turns out I had found that friends lost ring with my metal detector several years prior. So they tracked me down and I got the call. I met Joel at his house the same day he texted me…he was surprised at my confidence when I said I would find his ring in less than 5 minutes….turned out it took me 6 minutes! I was happy to be able to return his ring to him!

Lost Gold Ring Found in Brighton Michigan

Showing Off…..

….Was not the intention of Derek’s fiancée. However, after arriving home to a surprise engagement party the urge to brag was too overwhelming. As the evening progressed her ring was being passed around for friends and family to behold the beauty of it while the bride to be watching in close proximity. After dark she recalled it being returned to her but after getting into the house the ring was nowhere to be found. With family from out of state on their way to stay the weekend and all their friends present notified of the disappearance, what were they to do? Searching into the wee hours of the morning brought no luck. When I arrived, Derek went over the possible areas the ring could be. Using my MXT metal detector I started a grid search of the first area. Thankfully, this was the correct area from the signal and meter reading on the metal detector. Probing my pin-pointer thru the thick grass revealed this eye catching, stunningly beautiful ring! As I held it up Derek practically fell over into the grass in total disbelief that it was found. Reality set in quickly as he held it in his hand, cherishing the symbol and meaning of love for his fiancée and their future life together.

Lost Platinum Ring Returned

  • from South Padre Island (Texas, United States)

Gabriel called me and told me he had lost his platinum wedding band while playing football on the beach Saturday afternoon. We made arrangements to meet Sunday morning and I hunted for his ring for 2 1/2 hours and was able to locate the ring a little further north than what he thought he had lost it. He is a very happy man. Thanks, Gabriel, for the opportunity to look for your ring. Thanks, John.

Wedding ring lost in the bay, Beach Haven NJ, LBI, recovered by Edward Trapper, NJ Ring Finder

  • from Lavallette (New Jersey, United States)

I received a message from Yvonne asking if I would be able to get her husbands wedding ring out of the bay. It slipped off his finger getting out of their boat the night before. I was a bit worried about the water depth, knowing how much tide there is on the bay side of LBI, also how much mud was on the bottom, which always is a huge factor with water recoveries. They had returned home and explained that whatever worked best for me to have at it. I was able to go the following afternoon when the conditions were perfect. Luckily there was a dock ladder, because it was about 6′ down to the water, and  around 5′ deep, also there  was about 4″ of mud, so I was just able to maneuver with the water depth, but was still able to get the ring in my scoop within 30 minutes. The ring was returned about a week later, unfortunately I never got a chance to meet Alex or Yvonne, when Alex picked up the ring, I was in the water working on another successful recovery.

Quick Ring Return in Rockford IL

  • from Rockford (Illinois, United States)

I received a call from Santiago around 3:30 p.m. as I was getting off of work.  He told me that he had just lost his wedding ring in his backyard while raking. He told me that he felt it come off and just couldn’t locate it.  I arrived at his house around 5:30. He took me into his backyard and showed me the area where he felt the ring slip off of his finger.  He had recently removed a swimming pool and the area was all sand. First hit was a rusty bolt, the second signal was a solid 13 on the Equinox.  I pushed the pinpointer into the soft sand and exposed the edge of his ring! Probably less than 2 minutes!

Another smile for the book!!

Lost wedding ring on the beach, Ship Bottom NJ, LBI, recovered by Edward Trapper, NJ Ring Finder

  • from Lavallette (New Jersey, United States)

Lydia sent me a message asking if I would be able to help find her husbands wedding ring that was lost in the ocean he day before. She explained the details and we set up a time to meet on the beach. After I arrived I found out some more interesting details, one being, they marked the area with an umbrella pole the day before, which was FANTASTIC due to the huge beach, the other, they had searched for quite some time with a metal detector and had no luck. Jeff was tossing a ball when his ring slipped off into the water, which was quite rough due to the storms offshore. With the waves breaking right around knee deep, I found the ring very close to the spot marked with the umbrella pole. Remarkable, nobody touched it over 24 hours later.     njringfinder.com

Silver Celtic Ring found in Oconto farmhouse yard

  • from Green Bay (Wisconsin, United States)

What was lost, has been found!

I forgot to post this one, so apologize for the delay!     Cousin Jeanie lost her Celtic silver ring in our aunt’s front yard the previous year while she was visiting and playing with her collie.     Working from the porch to the driveway, then further and further into the lawn, after about 30 minutes,  I finally heard a ring signal loud and clear!   The ring had  sunk barely beneath the surface, showing a slightly round indentation barely visible to the naked eye.  I scooped it out with the tip of my Italian steel digger, and it was back on her finger in no time!

A couple had enjoyed themselves at Gravelly Point in Arlington, Virginia up until Michelle realized that she had lost her white gold 2.5 Carat diamond engagement ring with diamonds adorning both sides of the band. After leaving the park and traveling home, Michelle noticed that her ring was missing from her finger and immediately her fiancé Erik turned their vehicle around and they headed back to the park where they had their picnic earlier that day.

Unfortunately the couple was not able to find the sentimental keepsake in the grass where Michelle had taken off the ring on their picnic blanket to apply sunscreen lotion to her skin. They found me on the website and later the next day I traveled out to the search site to help the distressed couple.

Herndon, Virginia School Girl Loses Expensive Diamond Earring…Found by Earring Finder

  • from Washington (District of Columbia, United States)

Aadya’s special white gold 1 carat diamond stud earring that professional metal detectorist Brian Rudolph recovered in Herndon, Virginia backyard.

Aadya lighting up the night with her infectious smile after earring hero Brian Rudolph successfully recovers the teenager’s lost diamond earring!

Brian Rudolph, Lost Item Recovery Specialist (Land, Water, Sand, Snow, Leaves, Cliffs, Houses & Vehicles) Will Find Your Lost Keepsake! Call ASAP (301) 466-8644!

A young teenager named Aadya was gifted a pair of expensive diamond earrings. She wore them to school quite often. On one particular day, the young lady started playing with the earrings during school (like she always did before), but this time she took the backing off and never put it back on the post while the piece of jewelry rested in her ear. Later that night, after she visited the neighbors across the street, Aadya felt her ear and realized that the earring was gone! She and her parents were devastated. Everyone searched on the back lawn but no one could find the beautiful one carat (in total) diamond stud earring.

Sometime the next day, the distraught teenager’s mother, Divya, found me online because she was thinking of renting a metal detector from my company called METAL DETECTING ADVENTURES INC. I explained to the woman that there was no way the family was going to be able to find that small piece of jewelry without my assistance. They needed professional metal detecting experience and technology.

As it turned out, Aadya and her family hired me to search for the lost sentimental keepsake. I came out during night time, laid my gridlines down on the backyard lawn of the neighbor’s house, started up my detecting gear and began the « investigation ». Everyone was hoping that the earring was in fact lost in the backyard and not on the school bus or on the street somewhere. I am happy to share that I was in fact able to recover Aadya’s beautiful diamond earring! Everyone couldn’t believe it when I surprised the teenager, her friends and all of the family that had gathered out on the deck in the backyard that night!

I could not have been more happy for Aadya and her family! I love what us detectorists can do to help bring back special keepsakes that can never be replaced with a new one from the jewelry store!
